Programs and services include elder abuse prevention, senior resources, support groups, long-term care information, the elder helpline, Caring Connection, volunteer opportunities and events and outreach.

The Florida Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program strives to improve the quality of life for all long-term care residents throughout the state. The ombudsman advocates for and promotes the health and safety of LTC residents while protecting their welfare and rights. The First Coast District Office in Jacksonville provides ombudsman services to assisted living residents in St. Johns County, including Ponte Vedra Beach, and addresses any complaints they might have.
