My mom is in Arcadia Gardens. They focus on seniors. They don't have as many amenities as the other place does. This is just pretty much a senior place, which is fine. But I didn't anticipate a 10% increase in senior citizens. Seniors are on a fixed income, and they're not getting raises from the government. Their increases have gone up across the board on their food, their medical, and everything else. They seem not to care so, we're a little frustrated with the ownership there. They don't seem to care. It's a great place. My mom loves it. Great facilities. It's clean and new. It has great views. It gives my mom the opportunity to walk around and do different things, but I can't keep moving her every couple of years. It's costly and it's not good for them. They're also not 100% occupied. They have vacancies. There are multiple units. In the unit my mom is in they didn't make many, so they feel that there's more of a demand. They've made a lot of larger units like two, three, and four-bedroom suites, but nobody's taking those because the prices are astronomical. Their prices are ridiculous. They're trying to capture a market, but we're in a bad market as it is. There have been quite a few people that have left due to the rent, but they don't seem to care. What's frustrating is they promote their place as a senior place. If you look at their vision and what they offer and the different things, they very much promote it. They only offer breakfast. They have a nice garden and then the pool is phenomenal. They have a great pool. They have a walking area, which is great. But for instance, they started the garden, and now they won't and they're not maintaining it. The garden needs dirt and it needs different things, but it just goes by the wayside.

I toured Arcadia Gardens. They have just about everything. There seems to be a nice blend of people, mostly older women and a lot of them are on canes and things. They take nice care of themselves, but they have everything in there. They even have a movie theater, a restaurant, and a bar. I could see them drinking; they had cocktails hour. They have art classes. They have a gym, a library, and a room where you can meet people. For business or anything, you can use that room. Even more importantly, they have a wonderful staff who are very refined and welcoming, and they treat everybody very, very nicely. I looked at the one-bedroom and it was absolutely beautiful. It had a splendid kitchen, just right for an older woman. It had everything in it, all brand new stuff. It also had a screened-in porch, which was a very nice size for a small apartment. They have one bedroom, one bathroom, a huge storage closet, and a nice clothing closet. They have a very nice living room area and a dining room area as well that's connected. The kitchen has a counter and they had stools set up on the other side of the counter so that you could look into the kitchen. It was just beautifully done, and everything was sort of sparkling in there. The whole place is immaculate, which is very important to me. I'm a neat freak. Everything was just splendid. It was just lovely. There's parking like they have in the airport or in a lot of shopping malls where you're under the roof. You put your car there and it'll be safe and it'll be kept nice. It's beautiful. They invited me back to enjoy the music that they had there. There are terrific musicians. The people play cards. There's a little room to play cards. There's a big recreation room where they eat dinner and stuff. They have free breakfast, but I have to pay for my own Wi-Fi and electric utilities.

Arcadia Gardens was beautiful. It was modern and up-to-date, and it was immaculate. Their residents seemed happy. The rooms were small but beautiful, and they had washing machines and dryers. The kitchens were brand new. The staff was lovely, or at least the woman who showed us around. She offered us cold drinks. They had a barbecue place, and the pool was nice. They also had an arts and crafts room. It was just lovely.

Arcadia Gardens was kind of new. It was nicely done, even the hallways, and the whole aspect of the place. It was well presented. One meal a day is included (in the rent), and it's in the morning.

Arcadia Gardens was very nice. They had art classes, WIFI/internet, electricity, a garden club, and crafts. They had a lot of things, like pickleball, yoga, a bistro menu on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and gourmet catering. They include water, sewer, trash, pest control, maintenance, transportation, fitness, classes, continental breakfast, pool and spa, beauty salon, and restaurant. The staff was very good. The dining area was good, too.

The thing I liked the best about Arcadia Gardens was they had a lot of activities for the 55 and over individuals there. Their calendar was filled up with everything and they had full breakfast for free. And then they had lunches and dinners, you just pay a price. It was just so lovely and the people seemed amazing there. They have a bar area where they have parties. And when I was there, there was a dermatologist speaking and he brought in lunch for people who wanted to attend the conference. On a regular day, you can have water aerobics, you can do anything you want to do, they're busy the whole day. They have a calendar filled up from morning to night. The staff that I met with was Joseph, he was amazing, he took me all over every single room. He was explaining to me what the differences were. And they were beautiful, they were nice, and they were large enough. I was thinking about getting their 2-bedroom and a den if and when we decide. I went at 2:00, they were playing mahjong and doing a lot of things. They also texted me if I wanted to come back for something that was going on last week. There's a doctor on staff all the time.

I liked Arcadia Gardens. It was phenomenal. They have people on site. They have doctors on-site so you can get whatever care that you need right there. I was very impressed by that. No need to go anywhere if they don't want to. I thought the living conditions were phenomenal, very modern, very light, very bright. The staff was very nice. They've got art classes. They've got a fitness center. They've got all kinds of swimming, you know, aerobics type classes. And then you can get a plot of land if you want, and you can garden. That's the only place that they have any kind of ability for my brother to be outside and garden, which is something he would miss. So that was nice to see.
