I'm living in the Windward Palms. It's very good. The staff is very nice. I would give the staff, like the waiters and all that, a very good review. They have three meals a day. It's mixed because sometimes it's good with prime rib; other times, it's terrible. They make pizzas like waffles and use American cheese. I mean, who puts American cheese on pizza? Today, they had a buffet, but these little chicken things were overcooked. It was like eating cardboard. The other day, they had a ham and pickles sandwiches. Who puts pickles on ham? Pickles are for pastrami or hamburger. The breakfast here is good. They have entertainment. Today we had a singer, but it was not my type of music. I like from The Temptations and Jersey Boys forward, you know, the Beatles. The songs they play are like Sinatras. Most of the people here are 20 years older than me or 50 years older than me. It's a totally different generation. It's a beautiful place. It's a good value. I'm paying seventeen hundred dollars a month here, and it's three meals a day. They clean your room, and it's very clean. It's very nice and the atmosphere is very good.

I toured Windward Palms. They had lots of big common areas. They had a beautiful swimming pool. They were cleaning the dining room, but you could see how spacious the dining room was. I only looked at one bedroom because that would be what I would need. The first one looked a little more spacious than the empty one they showed me. It seemed odd, but it would be adequate for one person. The staff members who assisted me were very nice. There was an activity in the library area; there was a small group there. The place has a nice layout and nice grounds. It wasn't too far off the road, but you really can't hear any traffic noise inside. I saw one other resident on her own besides that group that was doing the activity. It was a lady who had come out to walk her little dog and so I like that they can have pets. The staff also told me that they have quite a few people who live there that go out to work every day. It was so clean and bright. Everything looked fresh. It looked like it was in perfect shape. They also have a party once a week like karaoke or disc jockey music.

Windward Palms is a newer, updated facility, very clean, and very well kept. The staff was great. The only knock on that place is that it is a more independent living facility. It's more geared toward people who are a lot more independent. Other than that, it's a beautiful facility. They have a bunch of amenities. They have a library, a place to play checkers, a TV room, a pool table, and a swimming pool.

Windward Palms is average, but the staff is fantastic. I have a two-bedroom with two baths. I have a big porch that wraps around a quarter of it. I have a hammock out there, and chairs, and everything else. It's a nice size too. They've got a TV room, a library, a pool table, bowling, and all kinds of activities. They're always busy. It's independent living, and everything's all included, so it's very good.

We chose Windward Palms for my client. It's a good facility, and they do a nice job. They offer the traditional independent living amenities. They have different trips, they have bingo, movies, and entertainment.

Windward Palms is independent living but we reliazed that my son needs assisted living. But the place was very nice. They have a swimming pool, and recreation areas in the facility. The facility seems very nice.

Windward Palms looked very nice and the director took us around during our tour. The rooms were nice and big, and they had a swimming pool too. The demo person that we worked with was very good. They had the typical activities, they had a nice crafts room, and there were certain things going on during the evenings like bingo, cards, and other typical stuff.

I'm in Windward Palms independent facility, and I'm content with what I have right now. The staff is lovely. I like the food. It's very convenient. The dining area is very nice and very large. They have activities here, and anyone can choose what to do very freely.

Windward Palms was very nice, and the rooms were nice; however, I felt the people were a little less friendly and less welcoming than other places. I didn't think my mom would fit in well there. The staff member who assisted me was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, but it wasn't as big as the others. The dining place looked nice. The place was more upscale. The surroundings were very nice.

My father lived at Windward Palms for 3 years and just moved out to be closer to family. He enjoyed poker with friends, evening entertainment and trips to the casino. The place is clean with a beautifully renovated dining room. The part my father will miss most is the staff. Everyone was so friendly and they truly care about the residents. The General Manager, Richard was very kind and took the time to wish my father well in his new home. Thank you.

I'm very happy with Windward Palms, particularly the people that work here. They're very nice to my mom. They have bingo, movies, card games, and ice cream socials. A couple of times a week, they have entertainment that comes in, and there's dancing. It's very nice. They have tons of activities. I'm very happy with the apartment that my mother got. Everything is very nice. The food is good. If you don't like what was being served, you can always get a turkey sandwich or a cheeseburger. They have options for you. My mother is very happy there. She loves it. The place is lovely. Everyday they have something going on. They bend over backward to make it as nice for the people as possible. It is a lovely place. I highly recommend it.

Windward Palms was upper middle class and very friendly. The manager was supervising the dining room and he came over, introduced himself, shook our hands and chatted with us enough to be friendly. The meal we had was very good. The first apartment I saw was not completely vacant yet, and the layout was fine, but the view out the window from the second floor was the top of the screen around the pool. There was one window in that apartment with a halfway decent view. The second apartment I saw was gorgeous. It was on the ground floor, with two walkout doors, the view out back was fantastic, and the flooring was great. They had transportation. The place had more of a little bit of a country setting. I was impressed with it.

Windward Palms was very nice. It was a terrific place. I liked it very much. I liked the area and everything about it. I actually stayed in one of the rooms, and it was very nice. They knew I came all the way from a 6-hour drive, so they asked me to stay for the weekend which was wonderful. The food was tremendous. They had a gourmet chef.

I went to Windward Palms and found it to be clean. The residents were friendly and looked well cared for and happy. There were quite a few activities and transportation available, which I thought was good. The units were nice and not overly large. They have a band that practices there that's not made up of residents -- just a band that comes in and practices, which I thought was nice. It's compact, so things are easy to get to and not all spread out; the activities and whatever you need are right there.

I recently transferred to Windward Palms, from another community. I must say that the value is GREAT, and the staff is wonderful. The food is very impressive, and I encourage everyone to visit for lunch and a tour of the community. I could honestly say I will be a long term resident at Windward Palms.

The people are friendly at Windward Palms. I like the facility's location best because it's close to my home. We ate there once for lunch and the food was very good. The dining room was very pretty and the atmosphere was very good too. The apartments were very nice as well.

My mother is considering this facility. She'll be in one this coming fall. This is a new place with a very pretty building and modern facilities. This also has a pool. The rooms can occupy a single bed with a small kitchen and a nice separate bath room; a big, bright dining area and the room is carpeted too. Everybody was pleasant and helpful in this place. Some services they will offer are as follows: cleaning the room, changing bed linens, providing transportation, etc. In addition, the food is good as well. This facility offers the most activities than the others we've toured. The only drawback is it's located along the main road so its not as quiet of a setting.
