Cresthaven Senior Living is affordable and the care is good. The building is just average. My mother-in-law's room is nice. It's a decent size. It's just one big room. They have common areas and they have a nice open yard. It's a decent facility and it's a good value. It was the most affordable place that we could find.

I toured Cresthaven Senior Living. I think that it'll be perfect for my daughter because everyone is friendly. She'll be able to meet new people, and they do have three meals a day. They will help her with her meds. So, I think everything is falling into place. The staff was very helpful and very respectful. She took us on the tour and everything seemed very clean and well organized. I felt that it was going to be a very friendly and positive place. It was originally a hotel, so there were hotel rooms, which were just enough. They have a little kitchenette and then two bedrooms.

The rooms are small, dark and dirty. My father in law is in there right now. Has been there for approximately 3 years and it has been down hill for about 4-5 months. They can’t t get the beg bugs and infestation under control. Housekeeping is once a week and they are rationed with detergent and other necessities for the residents. Family members have to come in and change the sheets, sweep and mop and sometimes take laundry home to wash for the residents. If you have any one there and you care for them—GET THEM OUT IF THERE. We are, as well as looking into other matters.

His room stinks like urine, it's filthy, Incuding paint pealing, poop stained stinky recliner chair...Every resident that I spoke within the place complained to me that they've had theft, multiple times. The staff I reported this to doesn't seem to care about it. The food is unidetifiable. Is it meat or is it cake? I am going to pursue this with local authorities, Including the police, mayor, and the governor. The place should be closed down. Our seniors, no matter what there economic status, should be treated with dignity! This is discraseful!!!!!

I transferred my stepdad to Cresthaven and I am so disappointed in the staff. No one will speak to me on the phone. The Administrator refused to get on the phone with me and referred me back to the staff that would not return my calls. When you send money for your loved one's trust fund they say they have not received it up to 3 weeks after the check is cashed! I am out of state and cannot get information about my stepdad's account even though I am his power of attorney.

My dad is now at Cresthaven Senior Living. We chose them because of its location and the reviews on their website. My dad has a private room, and it has been recently updated. It is spacious and clean. The staff is very helpful. I haven't tried their food, but my dad seems to enjoy it. The place is well-maintained and clean. The dining area probably needs a little refreshing, but it's spacious and adequate. My dad still has his car, so he can come and go. He has only been there for two weeks now. There is bingo. He has played poker with the guys, and he has made friends there. They post the calendar every month. There are plenty of things to do, if they want to. He seems to be very happy. He is thriving there, so it's great. It is conveniently located. It is like a mile down the road from me. It is a mile from where his home was, so he knows the area and has friends close by. It's great.

I went here after rehab. It was very nice, the food was great, and the people were nice. They had breakfast and lunch at certain times. If you're not able to go to the dining area, they will bring it to your room. It's a very clean facility. They had nurses on-staff and a hairdresser. I felt comfortable there. Everybody was polite. They would have vendors come in, and the residents were active.

My mom has been here for a couple of years now. It’s very quiet and safe, and she’s very happy.

My mom is settled in a very nice place. We're so happy. This place is much better for her mental capacity, because when she was in the house with 5 other people, they all had Alzheimer's, and she doesn't have that. There was no one to talk to. This place is big, and it has a library and a computer. It has a pool, too. And now, she can meet people. The staff was OK. They were friendly. She says the food is wonderful. She has a room with a roommate. The people in the room next door are nice. It wasn't dumpy; it was very nice. It was very clean, very lovely. She's upstairs, and when you look out over the balcony, it's really pretty. They have a bus that takes them a certain number of times a week to Wal-Mart. They have bingo time, but she's not a bingo person. They have groups and entertainers that come in on Sundays or other times. It motivates her to go and be with people. She can leave the room, whereas at the other place, she could leave if she wanted to, but it was harder.

They have independent living, assisted living and Alzheimer's care. The one bedroom is beautiful. All face inward to each other and they do not face the outward street. They have three wings and they're only two stories, it's like a hotel. There are gardens and they even have animals. The place is full of squirrels. I'm just waiting for the VA's approval before I move in.
