The Gardens Assisted Living Community at Hawkins is an assisted living community located in Hawkins, TX, a quaint country town in the piney woods of East Texas close to Tyler and Mineola on US Highway 80.The Hawkins facility is a split campus composed of 4 buildings totaling 48 apartments. Located less than a mile from each other, 2 of the buildings are directly on Highway 14 and the additional buildings are located in a private cul-de-sac. Now that building B had been remolded, all four buildings are open for assisted care. At both campus locations, the Gardens provides staff and assistance 24 hours a day to its residents, and additional services such as respite care, meals and snacks, laundry and transportation, medication assistance (if needed), social activities and group outings, and comfortable living quarters. The Gardens offers respite care for those individuals who need temporary assisted care.
