My husband's sister is living in Arabella of Longview. She is living in the villa area. She loves it. She has it decorated exactly almost as her house was, and so her memories have kind of come with her. She meets with other villa residents every Friday evening for happy hour. She goes to the main building where the apartment residents are and has dinner many times in their cafeteria. She has coffee every morning over there. There's a little lake there that she walks around every day. She has all of her freedoms, but she still is able to remain socially active because there are people there of the same age and the same lifestyle. The interaction with the staff has been mostly good. They have a housekeeper that comes in once a week. They had some turnover there, but my sister-in-law got along with everybody.

I went to look at Arabella of Longview. I like the environment, the surroundings, the cleanliness, and the upkeep of the facility. The apartments seem to be very sufficient for my mom. They have a recreational area, an on-site pharmacy, an eating area or dining hall, a common area, and a courtyard area.

Arabella of Longview is very nice. The staff was very nice and explained different things. They had a little bit better private rooms for the clients. The rooms were a little bit bigger. They have a lot of activities for the residents. They try to get those in memory care to do a little bit of activity and a little bit of exercise to keep their muscles going. The dining area was nice. They had the little tables with their tablecloths on and stuff like that. They also have a little theater for those in memory care who want to come watch it with the others out there.

We chose Arabella of Longview for my uncle because it's very nice and clean, and everybody's wonderful. The staff had all been very helpful. He had an issue with his bed and they got it fixed, any time we need anything. The front desk girl is also very nice and helpful. The meals are very good compared to where he was, and they're hot, so the food is very good. They have activities and stuff, but at one point they had a COVID patient, so they weren't doing activities. Everything looks nice, there's no old people smell or urine smell. It doesn't smell like a nursing home and everything's very clean compared to the previous place where he was in. So I'm very impressed with how nice and clean everything is. I'm comparing it to the other place where I was paying over $2,000 more and everything was so gross and nasty, and those people weren't helping us at all when we would call. But so far in Arabella, everything has been wonderful and they're taking good care of him.

Arabella of Longview was very nice. It was very welcoming and warm when you walk in. They've got nice people. The room was nice. I just felt it wasn't as clean as the other place. They said they're gonna do some remodeling. The person during the tour was very nice, answered our questions, sat there and visited with us about everything, gave us the tour, and was a very good listener as well. The dining area was very nice, cozy, and comfortable.

Arabella of Longview was nice. Everything was very nice. It was just too much for my mom. They had too many activities. My mom just couldn't handle all that. They were literally on a field trip. They go on a field trip two or three times a week; my mom wouldn't like that. It was an excellent place. The staff seemed really nice, too. They had quite a bit of amenities. They had an outdoor area. I saw a shared bathroom between two rooms. It was very clean.

We toured Arabella of Longview for my friend, and it was beautiful. Everything here was gorgeous. The dining room was gorgeous, the rooms were very nice, the hallways were big and spacious and open, and the people there were just amazing. We toured the assisted living.

Arabella of Longview was the first one I visited and I was impressed with it. The lady that did the tour was very knowledgeable. She's been working in the area for probably 15 years. She had worked at different facilities too and said that Arabella was, by far, the best. The assisted living was really good. She also showed me the memory care and I guess I wasn't sure what to expect, but it's just a little single room and very simple. It was a little sad but I think that's just the way they do it to keep everybody from being overwhelmed. She showed me everything there and the people I saw looked happy. They are sitting around eating dinner. It looked fine but I wasn't quite as impressed with the facility as I was with the other one I visited. The facility wasn't quite as new but I liked the head lady and I think people are more important than the facility sometimes.

We went to see Arabella of Longview. We were very satisfied with it. The layouts of the apartment are well thought-out. They thought about everything that senior citizens need in an apartment, like safety precautions. The staff was very, very accommodating. They have a dining room, two swimming pools, a weight room, a hobby room, a pharmacy, a beauty shop, a billiard room, and a theater. They have all kinds of things. The facilities are excellent.

We got my sister moved into Arabella of Longview. They're very family friendly. We can visit her in certain locations at our convenience. The family is able to visit with her whenever, so that's the main issue. The other thing was we were able to get the place that was large enough. Her apartment was larger than where she came from, and it's much, much nicer. Those were the big issues. The menus are wonderful. They have a chef. The food is great; fantastic. Compared to where she was, it's outstanding. The physical appearance is at the top. Compared to where she was, it is class. In fact, she has already started her therapy. It's cheaper than where she was if you can imagine it. It's a great place.

We signed the lease at the Arabella of Longview Independent Living. We saw it twice and we chose it because the family lives in the area, it's far enough away from hurricane evacuations, and it's a very nice, very large community. They have cottages, they have handicap areas, and perhaps everything you could want in that one community. The price is very good compared to all the others, the only thing I don't like about it so far is that it seems like there's not much closet space, there's not cabinet space in the kitchen, but it's OK because we're not going to be cooking that much anyway. It's independent with some assistance like your meals, cleaning, and transportation.

Arabella of Longview was fantastic. The people were very friendly. We were able to schedule our appointment during a meal time. The food was great. There was actually a wait staff. My mom actually met some people that go to her church. The place was very nice. There were lots of activities for the seniors. There was an indoor courtyard, which was very nice. Everything is included, including electricity, water, laundry for sheets and linens and they put your sheet on your bed, and they'll even wash your clothes if you would like. We like it so much. The independent was also very nice. They have indoor and outdoor pools, they have indoor theater, and they have a billiard room. It is like walking into a 5-star hotel. In the independent, it is about half the price of assisted but you don't get all of the assistance. The units are a little smaller in assisted than they are in the independent and there are fewer of them than there is in the independent, but everything in the assisted is closer together than they are in the independent.

Arabella of Longview is a sister community of another place we also visited. They have cottages for independent living that were arranged a little bit differently than at the sister community. Their cottages are in a different area from the rest of the community. It was quite a large property, and it was excellent. The inside of the apartment that we saw was very clean and well laid out. We saw a two-bedroom apartment and we wanted to move into a cottage, but they have a wait list of about 11 people. Their cottages were nestled around a lake all the way back by a wooded area. The grounds were set up very nice, and even the way the cottages were arranged on the property feels like you have your own private space. Their staff is absolutely superb. They really wanted everyone to feel like they were at home. They sent us home with some baked goods for us to try, which I thought was really nice. When they found out that I was on a gluten-free diet, they packed me up a gluten-free muffin.

Our tour of Arabella of Longview Independent Living was very good. They fed us lunch and it was a wonderful experience. They had an activities director and they play cards, dominos, and pool, they do exercises, and they take them on trips. It's an awesome place. The staff who showed us around was excellent, very friendly, very informative, and very nice. Everything was clean and excellent. The dining room was wonderful, nice, clean, and big. Everybody was friendly.

My mom will be moving into Arabella of Longview. She has to be in memory care which is a lockdown area, but it seems to be very spacious and homey-looking. We chose a very spacious, semi-private room which is connected by the bathroom, so she almost has her own private room. The staff has been there at least a year or more and they're very kind and answered a lot of my questions. They were very efficient and helped us understand a lot of things. Right upfront we knew exactly what we're going to be paying, so that was very nice. The place is always clean.

The assisted living area is by far the best I've visited. I can't say enough about how friendly and helpful the staff is. Everyone I came in contact with was over the top nice and very hospitable. They were willing to answer any questions for me. I would highly recommend Arabella of Longview' assisted living to anyone!

Arabella of Longview was not friendly. I was never offered a tour or if I asked a question, very little information would be given out.

6/2/16 TRANSPORTATION SERVICE: haven't seen that van move yet. Plus it blocks the view of oncoming traffic from the right of the entrance upon entering the property. MEDICAL ALERT SYSTEM: haven't heard anymore about this. DINING ON DEMAND: sounds nice, but that's not the program. Dining hours are limited and food is very much bulk cafeteria-style food, this couldn't be anything a self-respecting chef makes. And it comes in from the assisted living facility, not made on site. HOUSEKEEPING PLANS: the apartment wasn't clean upon move in as promised and they aren't wanting to clean before all boxes unpacked. These are elderly people (paying for this service) with limited capabilities unpacking a lifetime worth of things and of course there's still going to be some boxes on the floor. PERSONAL ASSISTANT SERVICES: haven't heard anymore about this. CAREGIVER SERVICES: haven't heard anymore about this. GROCERY DELIVERY: haven't heard anymore about this. As for SECURITY, there's not much. The gates are always open, anyone can access the property at any time, I've been in and out at different times from morning to late night. APPLIANCES: seems like they could've put in a higher quality; the refrigerator makes loud popping noise when putting out ice (they say this is normal?) and the dishwasher is another story, not drying dishes. And one would think that they'd have some that the knobs/controls were easier to read for the elderly. REALLY, WHERE are Library Books, Movie Theatre schedule, General Store, Beauty Shop, Regularly Scheduled Activities and Trips, Fitness Activities, Full Service Pharmacy??? I haven't seen information about these amenities. VERY POORLY MANAGED, POORLY PLANNED, AND POOR COMMUNICATION. On a positive note; they have put up some shelves and the aesthetics are great!

Arabella of Longview is very upscale. Their independent living facility will be available in March, so I only got to see their assisted living facility. It’s like a 5-star hotel. This facility is exceptional, very beautiful, and brand new and has cottages or apartments. Their price starts at $1,900, and then you have to add the food and other amenities. They have a nurse who evaluates you when you first go in there.

We visited Arabella in Longview. They were all very friendly. We liked it because they had separate cottages for each person, or if you didn't like that, they also had the apartment housing, and it was like 2 or 3 stories. The little cottages were along a little lake, and they were really nice. They did have what something like a duplex, but they were more like separate cottages, and that's what we cared for. The people were very clear and very friendly. They had activities. They had housecleaning also. They would come clean the house once a week and took care of the lawn. Everything was very close like the malls and the hospitals.

I have chosen Arabella and I'll be moving in just a few weeks. It's not open yet. The staff is fine. I'm very thankful to be here. They have a good staff. They're just human beings like me, but they take good care of me and the care is quite adequate. It's an excellent facility and I would recommend it to anybody.

I just went by Arabella of Longview because they had an open house. It's a brand new, gated community and they all have the amenities that you would want in an assisted living. They have a little lake with a fountain in it. This is for people who want to go out of their big houses and get into a smaller area.
