My father has been living at Arabella of Kilgore. Everybody's been extremely supportive and gracious, and they work with us. They love my father and they feel honored to have him there. They are making an effort to connect with him and to help him have some good and meaningful experiences, which is all we can hope for really. My father has a 2-bedroom apartment.

I toured Arabella of Kilgore and I thought the director was very sweet and the residents looked pretty happy. That was my top choice. I toured the regular part of it, but also I went and checked out where they have memory care because my grandma has memory issues. I got to see what that would look like, too. I didn't have much to complain about it. All the staff were really professional and very friendly. They had a small garden area, and that was cool, but the thing that I like the most about it is they had a really good activity director and they did outings and things like that. They have bingo. They had a more active list. I was greeted with a welcome package, freshly made cookies, and a notebook that I've been keeping my notes for my grandma on, so it was a really good experience.

Arabella of Kilgore was a very nice place with very nice people, but they also had very high rates. They had food service in the cafeteria, and they could take it to their room if they wanted to. They had nice, comfortable, and large rooms. The facilities were very nice and they were very clean.

My Mother was a resident in the memory care section. I recently had her moved from the facility due to the cost of her care. When she arrived at a new facility she was covered in dried feces and her clothes had not been washed, but just put back in closet and we had to trash them. When I would visit I would walk through the dinning area and see the delicious looking meals served to the regular residents, but go to memory care and the food was cold and very poor to say the least with not choice of menu. I believe the MC residents have the same rights as other residents , not prison. I would warn anyone considering this facility to look elsewhere as they rate very poorly in every apspect of care.

Arabella of Kilgore was clean. The staff was very friendly and answered any questions I had. The rooms were nice, and I liked the outdoor courtyard with seating areas. I was really impressed with it. They had transportation to take the residents to their doctors' appointments.
