Assisted living is designed for seniors who need regular help with daily activities, but do not need nursing home care. Ethan Place's staff includes an administrator who holds an Administrators License and an RN license, a Wellness Director who holds an LPN license and including an LPN, Medication Technicians, Certified Nursing Assistance and Caregivers, part time Activity Director and a full time Housekeeping staff. The staff and management of Ethan Place share a commitment to the quality of life for our residents. The spirit of caring and sharing has been the guiding philosophy in the home since we opened in 1963. Our care goes far beyond just meeting the residents physical needs we identify the strengths of each individual and design a plan of care that promotes wellbeing. Additionally, we care for the spiritual and emotional needs of our residents to help them enjoy a rewarding lifestyle. Our Home is a one story brick building, handicap accessible, consisting of 18 private resident rooms with attached individual tiled half bathrooms, and 6 semi private rooms with full bathrooms. Use our furniture or bring your own. We have spacious closets and emergency call systems. Each room is equipped with telephone outlets for you to contact services, individual heat control, and there is no extra charge to use your energy efficient air conditioners. Ethan Place has several community areas including a living room for residents to visit with their families and friends. The TV room is a great place for evening socializing. The dining room, is where we serve three meals a day, menus are varied season to season and are fashioned to our residents likes. We have a beautiful heated sun porch for all our activities not to mention our country like setting with a gazebo in the back of the building for all to enjoy in the good weather.
