My grandma has already moved into The Elderly Inn #3. This one is in my price range. It's more of a home feel versus a business feel, and so it's more suitable to her feeling more at home. There are less residents, the price is really right, and they can care for her in regard to the care that she needs. The people that work there are amazing. They are always updating us, very informative of what's going on, and always reaching out. It's a really, really clean environment, and they're really friendly as well as comfortable. I really like how you don't have to book an appointment to see my grandma, you can just go at anytime, except for at night, which is nice, so it's flexible. The food there is great, all homemade. Hands down, it's really, really good. The facility is handicapped accessible, so everything is in immaculate condition. Everything's updated. Everything is functioning and working. They're always accommodating to each resident's needs. For the residents, they have a landscaped backyard, so they go out there. They have arts and crafts, and games that they play throughout the day. They have TV, they have music ongoing, and they encourage the residents to get up and move around versus just staying in one spot. They don't allow the residents to stay in bed unless they need to stay in bed. So, they're really good about getting them up and moving around and everything.

At The Elderly Inn #3, everybody had to be up and dressed and have breakfast between 8:00 and 8:30, lunch at noon, and dinner at 5:00, and no visitors after 7:00 because they were busy getting everyone ready for bed. Everybody is in their rooms at 8:00. It was very regimented which is just the opposite of my mother. It would have been good for people with dementia or sundowning and needed the regimented kind of life, but it was not a good fit for my mom. It did not look like they had any activities; everybody was just sitting watching TV. The staff seemed really concerned and devoted to the residents. The place was very clean and very organized.
