I was in Cogir of Stock Ranch Senior Living for about eight months and I was completely pleased with it, but I wanted to be just a little closer to my family, so I moved out. I'm in a situation now where I have to be in assisted living and this is a progressive facility. The staff was very good and very friendly and very concerned with their clients in assisted living and independent living. The food was good, but it's like any place you go. At times, it was great, and at times it had a little bit to be desired, but it's edible. I would advise people to go there. They had quite a few activities. They had card games, entertainment that came in, church services, cards and puzzles, and a small library. They had quite a bit of entertainment. For a lot of people, it was worth every penny. Some people would not be happy there because they would feel it was too expensive. After all, if they weren't into the social side of it, it would be too much for them. If people don't want to do the social side of it, it's their fault.

I toured Cogir of Stock Ranch Senior Living. The person giving the tour was really amiable and very honest about the level of care they could provide, and I appreciated the way he wrote and reached out and was very forthcoming, so I just felt really comfortable with kind of understanding what my mother would experience if she was there. I looked at the staff information and I talked to the marketing person, the person that I dealt with, and I just think that everyone was really great. They have nice rooms.

I toured Cogir of Stock Ranch Senior Living. Personally, I like ceiling fans. They had no ceiling fans, which influenced me. Everything else looks fine. The rooms were nice and the prices were good. I liked the floor plans. The staff was very friendly. I didn't see anything that would bring them down. Everything seemed really nice with them.

I went to Cogir of Stock Ranch Senior Living. The whole place looked rather vibrant and had a lot of space for game playing and watching TV. The apartment was a one-bedroom and the living room was of reasonable size. Some of these places look so tiny after living in a house, but this one looked more spacious than I had seen before. The main director of the facility was great. I think the person that usually gives the tours was not there. I was looking at their schedule of activities. They have a lot of board games. They do have movies that look nice. They said something about card games. The dining room was very pretty. It looked over the outdoors and all in all, so far, I would say this was one of my favorite places.

Cogir of Stock Ranch Senior Living was very nice. Dale, who runs the place, was very knowledgeable, took a lot of time to talk to me, show me around, and listen to me. It was beautiful there. It was very warm and open. The staff members were informative. When I came in, they introduced themselves and showed me how to check in and stuff. I had gotten there a half hour early, so they notified Dale that I had gotten there early. The rooms were nice. I was impressed that they actually have a full kitchen in each of the apartments. It's not just a refrigerator. They have a working stove for all of the apartments, too, and that impressed me. The size of the rooms was very nice, too. Dale invited me to lunch and it was very good food and more upscale. There was a group that was doing photo crafts. They had mentioned some other outings were going on at the same time. It was immaculate in there. Dale said that they had just updated their WI-FI in the entire building. I was very impressed.

The rooms at Cogir of Stock Ranch Senior Living were very small and the air conditioning was a wall-mounted unit blowing right on from either the bedroom or the living room. So, it's one way or the other, not both, and that's not suitable in an area that gets as hot as Sacramento. I also didn't like the appearance. There were too many fake decorations, like plastic flowers. The staff was informative and professional, though, and the facility looked in good condition. I didn't see anything negative about cleanliness.

Cogir of Stock Ranch Senior Living was a nice, large piece of property. It's away from some of the more dense, populated areas, which is a good thing. I like the large, open quality of it. They don't have any balconies in the rooms. They have a small refrigerator, a microwave, a stovetop, and a sink. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the community that they provide.

Cogir of Stock Ranch Senior Living refused to take my sister because of her condition. The tour was really nice. The staff that walked us through during the tour was really nice and the facility was excellent. Their rooms were nice and spacious. They have happy hour, they have games, they have a lot of things going on there, and there's a nice courtyard outside. They have chair yoga, chair aerobics, and many things going on. It's in a convenient location. The dining area was very nice; I didn't try the food but I saw the menu.

My dad moved into Cogir of Stock Ranch Senior Living. We chose it because of the number of activities that they have; they have a lot of activities. The staff is very friendly and professional, and his apartment is very nice, it's renovated and very clean. It's a beautiful facility that's very clean with lots of space and it's very open. My dad says that the food is very good.

I visited Cogir of Stock Ranch. I like it I liked everybody I met there. Staff is great they were the first ones I met. They're very helpful and very positive; they seem friendly. And the other ones were pretty friendly too. But they were either really far out or the community was. An average is 85 or something, that I was hoping to get something a little of younger group. The food there is better than the food everywhere else. It's very clean. Looks new but I don't think it is. They've redone the rooms, flooring, it's water proof, the kitchenette is descent. I haven't moved in yet, I've been there 2 or 3 times. I can't really say about the food, I know what it looked like, and I liked what I saw on the menu, but I didn't taste it.

My Uncle had the pleasure of staying at this facility and was very satisfied with the staff, cleanliness, and the care that was given to him. Everyone was caring and thoughtful with his needs. I highly recommend their care.

I was looking to move my uncle closer to me, and after visiting many senior living facilities I fell in love with Cogir on my first visit. He was welcomed into the community with open arms. He has no complaints about the food, loves all the activities, and feels very comfortable with all the team members. I would highly recommend Cogir to families who want their family member in a safe and caring environment.

What a wonderful place to live! My mother and we couldn't be happier with the fantastic care received with such love and caring hearts! Everyone is so kind and so attentive and so open to family concerns or questions! They make every effort to accommodate every request. Happy Living by Cogir at Stock Ranch Road is a gem. Thank you all and God bless you! Just a note about food: Mostly, it's wonderful with good variety. But, my mother would so like the vegetables cooked a little bit softer (not mushy) so they're easier to eat. She gets very tired of so much shrimp and overcooked fish. Other than those things, she's satisfied with the food overall. Sometimes she can't tell what the meals are by the names on the menu. If they could be defined a bit, it would be helpful.

I toured Stock Ranch Road. I would rate them a 3 out of 5 because it wasn't that clean and the food was nowhere near as good as the other community we went to. We had to wait for about an hour before the person that was supposed to meet us finally showed up. It was very bad. I saw people milling around, and I didn't see any activities. They could improve by really cleaning the place up, because the floor and the eating area were dirty. The quality of the food wasn't good; it didn't taste good nor look good.

Although the facility is great and staff is pleasant, I'm not happy with the management. High turnover; ridiculous billing system; inflexibility regarding provision of assistance (no mechanism for getting medication management on 3rd floor) make this tough on my mom, who is legally blind. Cogir has a cookie-cutter approach to EVERYTHING. Which means if the resident is an outlier to the norm, their needs are likely NOT to be met.

This place is great. The staff is superb. They treated our father (and us, too!) with kindness and dignity. He loved the people, the activities, and the food (we thought the food was awful, though. I had salad twice that was limp and old and the dressings seemed loaded with sugar. Service was always super slow, too.) Sadly, our father passed away. I am so glad he was staying here and enjoyed many good times and was treated so well while alive. I would recommend this facility to anyone needed assisted or retirement, or even hospice care.

This community has wonderful cooks and wonderful food. They just didn’t have any openings for me when I went there. The size of the facility was pretty good, but the one-bedroom was way too small. The food and cook really stood out.

Mom is in this community. We choose it because my mother loves it there. She really likes the atmosphere and what the area looks like. She even decided to take a small apartment because of the cost rather than go someplace else because she really enjoys being there very much. She is a first impression kind of person, and she has a nice warm feeling as she walks in. She really enjoys the spaciousness of the common areas. She likes the meals there. The cost plus being able to move to a secure place she needs to all in one location is a plus, and it is a familiar area to her. It is not too far from her friends to visit. All of those are the considerations, but the important thing is that she is very at home there, and she smiles a lot when she is there. The staff is very nice. The food is good and cooks to her liking. She likes the fact that she can eat anytime that she wants to. It is not structured, and to her that is important too. Me, personally, I like that there is a nurse on staff.

I loved it and would have taken it in a minute if I were ready and if they had an opening. One of the things I liked was their open dining. It's not regimented wherein you can sit where you want and eat when you want. It is wonderful. I have eaten there before, and the food is good. It's just a cheerful, bright, and clean place. I have looked at the one-bedroom, and it has a very nice size. It had a living room, bedroom, and kitchen. The bathroom is wonderful, and I wish I had their shower. They have a lot of activities. I had a friend that lived there and whenever I went to see her she was out somewhere. They have a shuttle bus that takes people here and there and everywhere. Two days a week, they take people to doctor's appointments. They have a button in the apartment which the residents have to press in the morning so that everybody knows you are OK. If the button doesn't get pressed, they come and see you.

Pretty much all of the activities that go on here are on the first floor. They have 100 plus apartments and they are in the second and third floor. This community is relatively newer and brighter. They offer independent and assisted living and it is in good location near medical hospital and doctors. We had a good and positive feeling about it. The staff was friendly and attentive but right now it is just based on a couple of visits we had. We looked at their calendar of activities and it appeared that it is an active community. We also looked at their studios and I would say they were a good size, not huge, but they're appropriate.

It is nice. It looks good, it looks clean. It seems like a nice place. The cost was a little bit higher. They didn't have balconies on the rooms for their assisted living, and I wanted a balcony. It did seem a very clean place.

The people were very nice, very friendly, and accommodating. The staff's work ethics were great! There were a lot of people around at that time, and they did have a board list of activities that were going on. The apartments, though, were tiny and old, but the dining room looked nice.

We made a quick tour. I was very happy with the visit. The staff and the service are fine. I thought the rooms were very nice; they have both private rooms and shared rooms. They have bathrooms. The dining area was very attractive. It was very clean. I was pleased with the ambience.

I visited and I liked the coordinator. She was very tactful and realistic. The facility seemed to be very clean. The rooms were very nice. It had a small kitchen and a bathroom. The staff seemed to be most helpful, and the residents seemed to be well taken care of.

We met with a staff lady there and she was friendly. When we visited they were full so we needed get a chance to look at the rooms, but the place is very clean. They were a lot of residents sitting around chatting, doing a puzzle, and playing cards . They were up and about doing unstructured activities.

I had a friend whose mother had been here so they recommended it. The location was closer to where my friend lives which would be a consideration. Again it was very nice but the residents were older and in fact the lady there told me I wasn't ready for it which I was not. She was indicating that their residents were sort of older and needed more care and not quite as active.
