I recently moved my mom into assisted living at Oakmont and am so grateful to the loving staff and administration who has helped us through this difficult time. My mom is struggling at home very independent but needing a little help now most likely more down the road. My family and I have the peace of mind knowing mom is well cared for, safe and actually making new friends and eating healthy delicious food! Thank you Oakmont team so very much

This facility looks beautiful and is very impressive until your family member actually lives there. The staff spend way too much time gossiping and talking with each other versus taking care of the residents. The activity director treats the residents like little kids and they don’t enjoy the activities a lot of the time because of that. They say you can get whatever you want to eat, but that’s not true. They say your loved one will get certain caregiving amenities, but they don’t half of the time and still get charged for it. There are people there that really care, but they are not the ones in charge.

My wife is a resident of Oakmont of Fair Oaks. The staff is excellent. It's a very nice facility. They seem to be very caring about the people that occupy their building. Her room is excellent. It's like a small studio apartment. The food is good, too. I had lunch there, and they had a Thai chicken salad with half a sandwich and a bowl of soup. It was very good. They had live music for the folks. They also have a room for arts and crafts and a small gymnasium. It's a very nice facility. The staff are all very friendly, very caring.

We went to Oakmont of Fair Oaks. I liked it, but it was not as vibrant. I liked the marketing director, but it didn't seem to have as much going on and it's very pricey. It was above my price point. I thought that was a lovely place, but it's not even available to us. The staff who gave the tour was wonderful. She's great. We had cookies, and they were good. As far as the amenities go, I believe there were a lot of things going on there. They had everything. They had a salon, a craft room, and a movie theater. It was very, very clean and well-kept, and the grounds were beautiful.

We visited Oakmont of Fair Oaks. We looked at both assisted living and memory care. It was like a newer facility. It was very, very clean, very aesthetically nice. The thing we didn't like is that there were a lot of additional add-ons that weren't included in the general price. The staff who gave the tour was very knowledgeable and very helpful and showed us everything we wanted to see. She took a lot of time with us. They showed us the beauty salon, the craft room, the TV room, and the dining area. They were able to show us an actual bedroom. It was a little larger. We looked at the assisted living rooms more than the memory care ones.

Oakmont of Fair Oaks is wonderful as far as activities go. The activities director included us in a painting class that we attended with the residents. It was great to see that the residents were happy and engaged and getting some really meaningful, high-quality activities. We saw the dining area, which was where our activity was. It's clean, professional, and high-class. They knew the residents on a first-name basis. It's in a good central location. The grounds are well kept. It looks new. It looks like a very new facility.

Oakmont of Fair Oaks is a beautiful facility. The upkeep is excellent. The staff here makes a huge effort, but they're understaffed, both the caregiving and the kitchen staff. The building is in good condition, but the landscaping is not well maintained. There are a lot of activities here like games, excursions, music, entertainment, physical therapy, and occupational therapy programs, but I don't think the participation is high. My diet is very specific and not all the meals are the kind of food I expected, however, you can order anything that they have the ingredients to make. They will always cook for you.

Oakmont of Fair Oaks was very well laid out, in a good spot, and with a nice design. The staff was very nice, knowledgeable, caring, and friendly. They have several things that people could do. They had a common room, an open courtyard garden, and a kitchen facility where you get drinks and snacks. It was kind of a studio for memory care. It was one room with a bathroom off of it and very spacious.

I like the aesthetic of Oakmont of Fair Oaks assisted living. It doesn't look like a nursing home and that's important to me. The staff was very easy to talk to and very pleasant. I even got a little take-home gift for myself. They're very accommodating, answered all my questions, introduced me to some of the staff, and invited me back for a meal. Overall, it's very good. They offer everything. All of the facilities that I have seen offer pretty much the same thing. This one has quite a few too and it's a fairly new facility. It's one of the places that if I was ready to do it right now, I think that's where I would want to go.

Oakmont of Fair Oaks seemed clean and organized. They had activities for them. The tour was nice. The staff was nice and answered our questions as best she could. And what she couldn't answer, she took us to the person in charge of the memory care side. There were a few ladies that were watching; they were making cupcakes. The staff just showed us a list of activities, but I honestly did not see them doing those activities except for the cupcakes. The facility looked clean. They had a beauty parlor, a library, and the movie theater was impressive.

This facility has had countless management changes in the 18 months since they opened - including 6 Executive Directors and 6 Health Services Directors. They are in the process of evicting residents due to their inability to properly manage care. Look elsewhere if your health and safety is dependent on consistency of care and management who you can trust.

We werent impressed with Oakmont of Fair Oaks. We thought it was overpriced. The rooms were fine and adequate in size, but they were expensive. We saw one room with exercise equipment. My mom had a dog that needed to get outside and potty, but the only apartment available was away from outside.
