They're open Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Membership isn't necessary, and there are normally no costs, but some classes require a nominal fee. The centers focus on health promotion, fun games and education, in addition to administering screenings for preventative health issues. There are also frequent day trips and special events within the facilities, such as birthday celebrations.
Clinics Can Help(561) 640-2995Clinics Can Help is a nonprofit organization that recycles and reuses medical equipment throughout Palm Beach County. It can loan a wide range of devices to needy residents of all ages. Typically loaned equipment includes wheelchairs, walkers, canes, crutches and nebulizers. There's no requirement for seniors to pay for the equipment, but donations are gratefully accepted.
