My mother is now at The Club at Wellington. It is a smaller facility. It only accommodates about 50 residents, but that just makes it more individualized. The assistant director is an absolute doll. The roof is new, and the kitchens are new. The staff is amazing. It's impeccably clean, it smells great, and it looks great. Some of the furniture that they have is a little on the older side but considering that they just managed to get back on their feet in June, I think they've come a long way, and I give them a thumbs up all around. They enjoy the food. They're very attentive to all the residents. They have activities. They get snacks during the course of the day. The patients are clean. Their clothes are clean. I can't even say anything bad about it, so that's why I think that my mom needs to stay there. The place is just amazing all around. With regard to activities, my mom showed me today, that she made a little birdhouse, so they do arts and crafts. They play bingo every day. They made necklaces another time. Every day my mom is making something. They make little paintings, too.

It is a horrible place. There is one nurse for 42 residents. The food is awful with no fresh fruit or vegetables. I saw the doctor stay for 15 minutes! Enough time I guess to get paid. Aides dispense the medication. Aides are Spanish-speaking. There are no activities at all. So many have bruising. Do not, under any circumstances, put your loved one here.

It was a very clean facility and has a homey feeling in it. It's like bringing my mother to live in a home and not like a hospital. It is also 5 minutes away from my house. They have an open door policy. We were always welcome to come whenever. They took care of her. The staff in general are very caring and nice towards my mom. They treated her like their own. My mom shared a room with a fellow resident. I wasn't there too often on breakfast but I know they offer a wide variety. She would tell me she had 2 bowls of cheerios, scrambled eggs and bacon. Lunch was something I would have loved to set and eat. Everything was home cooked and not stuff out of a can. It's always a very balanced meal like, salad, meat, vegetable, potato and dessert. Dinner was usually a soup and a sandwich which is plenty for them. They also have afternoon snacks like tea and cookies. They have this one big table with 8 chairs. They have nice table cloth and their silverware are setup beautifully. Everything is there for them.

It's a small facility and this is one of the reasons why I chose this facility for my mother. It's also very clean and the staff are so much better than any other larger caring facilities. I feel that my mother gets the personal attention. She's been there for 2 years from the time the facility opened. I like everything about the facility. She is situated in a single room by herself. The facility also has shared bedrooms. I have not tried eating there, but I think she is very happy with the food.
