My brother moved into The Forum at Deer Creek. We chose it for location. It's very clean. They offer you dinner in your room,or you can go to the dining room. They have a nice swimming pool and a lot of activities. So I think it's very, very nice. I had dinner there, and it was very nice. Everybody was very caring. It was very clean. He chose a very small apartment. It has everything he needs, so it's fine.

I have friends at The Forum at Deer Creek. I have one friend who has lived there for six years and another friend who moved in with her son, and she took a two-bedroom-two-bath apartment. They have all kinds of rooms. Their lobby is gorgeous with a tree growing in it. It's like a big high atrium. They have a lovely pool area as well. My friend, who has a studio, has a stove with an oven. They get two meals included, i.e., breakfast and either a mid-day or dinner meal. Plus, they have a washer and dryer in the unit. They have hot hors d'oeuvre and entertainment with the cocktail party. My friends told me the meals are great and you get choices on the menu.

Interactions with the staff (minus 2 nurses), The nurses did not show patience or compassion, very abrupt in conversations with myself and needed me to hire an aid to stay with my mom when I was not even allowed to visit her. When I was able to visit her because hospice had come in and told them it was compassion care, I let them know when I was coming, the person at the door did not know I was coming had to find the director to get more information, them I had to wait for another nurse to get me checked in. I was only allowed to stay for 30 minutes.

Forum At Deer Creek is one of my choices. It is very nice and well kept. There are several different styles of apartments whether you want a one-bedroom or a two-bedroom. The apartments are nice and adequate. The people are very nice and friendly. The staff member who assisted me was very nice. They have a nice fitness center, which is adequate. However, they did not have as much bridge as I would like.

Forum At Deer Creek is a very nice and upscale place. My mom is in a clean and nice quad room where there are four beds. They have bingo, an Elvis impersonator, and they play cards. They also have a lady selling jewelry and a pool for the residents. They also have a library and a lot of places to sit, and an atrium with plants. It's a really pretty place. The staff is nice and polite, but they're not very helpful or informed with what steps need to be taken, like they don't guide you very well. That's the one complaint I have.

I'm very impressed with The Forum at Deer Creek. I would like to get in there, but there's a waiting list. We visited someone's apartment and it was very nice. That's exactly what we want. We had dinner there and it was very nice. I did not have too much to do with the staff at that time because I was with the sales director.

We were not very pleased with how The Forum at Deer Creek was kept. We walked around a bit and saw that their areas were not well kept, so we didn’t stay for our appointment. I don’t think we would have chosen this place.

My son came the past week and he wanted me to look at The Forum. So I went to The Forum and I really liked it. My son is a realtor, he’s negotiating with the person there and within the next few months, I should be moving in. They have independent living, which is what I’ll be doing, and they offer three meals a day. Your electric, your water, and everything are included in the price. And they have all kinds of activities. They also have an assisted living and a nursing home there. It’s very close to where my home is and I’m happy about that because I’m very familiar with all the area and I like all the area. The people there seemed very pleasant and they have a lot of really wonderful activities. They have lectures, movies, an auditorium, a swimming pool, and there’s a golf course that’s right next to them. They have Bingo games, card games; all kinds of games. They have transportation to go to stores and to whatever you need, and they have special programs where people come and sing and so on, and they have computer work and exercise machines. Right now, they’re a five. They’ve got so many offers. They invited us for a meal and it was delicious. They were very nice, and my family that came to help me make the decision also ate there and they liked it.

The Forum at Deer Creek was very nice. The people were very friendly. The facility itself was very nice, but I did not see as much activity with the residents. The apartments were spacious. They were very nice, but the one they had available, there was no view of anything but the parking lot. I didn't really care for that, because my father was coming from a place that had a beautiful water view. The room itself was very nice, but I just did not like a view of the parking lot.

We saw The Forum. The place looked very nice, and the food was alright. Physically, the layout was appealing. They had a heated pool which we liked. They had nice evening and afternoon activities. They take residents to FAU, doctor appointments, and airports. We enjoyed meeting a few people there. It seemed to be clean. We did not notice any dust spots. The size of the apartments was adequate. The people who took us around were very cooperative and answered all of our questions. The general of the place was very pleasing.

They have very small apartments at The Forum at Deer Creek. The place looked beautiful on the outside. They have a very nice garden to walk in, and their grounds are nicely maintained.

The Forum was nice. They had activities. The issue that my dad had was that most of the population was already wheelchair bound and not a very active population. That was a problem for my dad because he was very active. The staff was very nice, very knowledgeable, very friendly, very helpful, and caring. The place was very clean. However, there were not as many live performers or activities.

A friend lives in The Forum. I did see her yesterday there. It is a beautiful place. She lives up on the 7th floor and she has a one-bedroom apartment but it is expensive. Still, this is a beautiful place. They have lots of entertainment. They have bingo every Monday and Wednesday. As a matter of fact I go there tonight to play bingo. They also have a nice pool, exercise machines, a salon to do your hair and nails, etc. They also have a therapy place. They have a place where you can just gather together and a room for people who play cards or whatever. Everyday they have a social thing from 3 p.m. onwards where they can go there and drink and have hors d'oeuvres. It is a beautiful place, it really is.

The quality of the residents and the facility itself are the aspects that appealed to me most in The Forum at Deer Creek. It is a very nice facility. I would recommend them for independent living but not for assisted living.

We have been living in this "senior paradise" for only two months, and we are so happy here. We searched for many months until we finally decided to reside here, Originally the spacious and light-filled apartment was the deciding factor. Along with our first impression of the people who were already living here. Everyone seemed so happy to greet us warmly and with such sincerity. When we moved in, the very capable maintenance staff provided us with all the help we neeeded to see that everything in the apartment met with our approval. And have continued to do so. And the residents proved to be as pleasant and friendly as we had anticipated. We have found many friends here and the activities department makes sure that there are enough choices of things to do, that we could keep busy most of the day, The entertainment is usually a high-quality performance The lectures and book club discussions are thought provoking and interesting., The food department seems to maintain a very high standard of food quality, and provides good service in the "cruise ship type" dining room. I like the informal seating arrangements. We can go at any time during the dinner hours, and sit wherever we want, with whomever we want. I feel as if I am on a cruise. I sit on my beautful balcony, overlooking the swimming pool with its lush landscaping and feel as if I am on a Carribbean island. How much better can life be? Everyone from the Forum's director to the switchboard operator, and every staff member in between, seems to be here to make our stay a pleasant experience. A smile, an assurance that our concerns will be handled as soon as possible, an extra thoughtful gesture, seem to be the norm here. There are bonuses too, Transportation to shopping malls, doctors, and theater events are routinely planned. Weekly cleaning and linen changing services are provided. Nursing services are provided daily (i.e. blood pressure, consultations, etc.). Hair salon right on the premises. Computers for residents' use. A well-equipped gym, and a wellness center for physical therapy. It's all here, in one well-maintained building. One couldn't ask for anything more. I can even cook and bake to my hearts content, when I feel so inclined, in my well-equipped kitchen. There might be some flaws in the story. However, when I moved in I decided that I was going to like it here, and ignore what I didn't like. I found that I was always able to reach the "ear" of someone who would listen to any concern that I had, and try to address it. So . . . . We're happy here.

Our mom and dad were married for 62 years before my mom passed away. After she passed our family helped dad as much as we could. We did a good job, but as the years went by he grew to be very lonely. We knew we had to move him into a place where he could be around his own peers. The Forum was recommended to us by friends whose parents live there. How lucky were we that Dad agreed to take the tour. After we toured the Forum, my dad said "When can I move in?" The Administration and staff was so kind and supportive, answering all our questions. They were all understanding, and anticipated our needs. There was a 3 month waiting list into the Independent Living apts., which gave us time to sell his home and organize the move. My dad moved into the Independent Living a year ago. Since then he has made good friends, is involved in many activities, and absolutely loves living at the Forum. He tells us frequently "that on a scale of 100, the Forum is 8,467!" We are thankful our dad is doing so well and is happy. The support staff is so friendly. They treat dad like he is family. We visit regularly, and the residents are always out and about involved in their chosen activities. From time to time we have dinner with dad in the dining room, and the food is good, the dining staff is welcoming and the residents are happily chatting away. My dad has found his new home and a happy second chapter of his life at the Forum!

After visiting more than a few communities looking for information and doing my own research into senior living communities for my parents I was most impressed with The Forum. I found the community to be warm, welcoming and beautiful. The staff was knowledgable and caring and really took time for me! The Forum is at the top of our list and I will be going back to show my parents how nice it is.... A big thank you to The Forum!

Everything is wonderful there. We had a little bit interaction with the residents and they're all very nice. They seemed like happy people. The staff was very much helpful and accommodating. They gave us cookies there and it tasted good. That was very welcoming! They have field trips, card games, lectures from different colleges that come in there. The living room is also very inviting so it's one of those places my mom should be happy with.
