My husband was a resident of Chatsworth at PGA National for months. He loved being there because of your entire staff. Nurses, CNA s ,Therapists, Dietary workers, Social Service workers, Admissions Department, Housekeeping, Finance Department, Maintenance workers, Receptionists and Administrators,Every singe one gave him the best care you can imagine.... Being a nurse myself, I can attest to the exceptional staff...Their compassion, went far above duty and became loving care for their patients.I would highly recommend Chatsworth at PGA National for rehabilitation ,long term care or assisted living..Sincerely, Paula Garlinge R.N.

My mom is in rehab right now at Chatsworth at Pga National. They're one of the better rehab centers, and their nurses and therapists are really good. I am not in love with their doctors because when you go into a rehab center, you can only use their doctors, so it’s hard to take my parent to another doctor when she's still incapacitated. I wish they'd come up with a better plan regarding that. I have been told that's how all rehabs work. It's just tough because she's had a stroke and her main doctor should be a neurologist, but they don't have an on-staff neurologist and for me to try and take her out of the property is difficult. I don't think their doctors are that good. You can't rely on them, but the nurses and therapists are fantastic. Their nursing aides are not good, but I think that's the case everywhere. The facility is very nice. People are walking around and in wheelchairs all over the place. I would say it's a good place. I would recommend them to others.

Locating an assisted living facility for a family member can be a very scary experience. Especially when your loved one is incapable of understanding what is currently happening. My stepmother had fallen and it impacted her memory and ability to care for herself. My stepmother is not an easy person to deal with when in a "normal" state, so when she was confused it was even harder. The hospital recommended Chatsworth at PGA National and what a great experience! My extremely concerned father was relieved when we entered the facility. The lobby was warm and inviting, with coffee, lemonade and tea available while we waited to talk to someone. A little puppy sat in the corner, waiting for a resident to appear to pet her. Attached to the lobby was a room filled with books to enjoy and a beautiful couch. My stepmother was put in a double room with a very pleasant older woman. The accommodations were beautiful. Every area was extremely clean and beautifully decorated. On her wing of the facility was an alcove with birds, computers and more books. The facility hosted daily activities including a local doctor who sang with his family. Another great thing about this facility was the way it accommodated all types of faith groups as my stepmother was in the facility during the holidays this year. The nurses were attentive and patient. The rehabilitation staff was calm and professional, while pushing her to improve her condition. I would highly recommend Chatsworth of PGA National.

My 80 year old grandmother with Alzheimers lives here and she tells me that its a good place, but obviously because of her Alzheimers, she doesn't remember very well after a few days. I have visited it quite a few times and its a pretty good place. The aides are very friendly and patient, before this she was at "A Country Residence" which is an absolutely terrible place! Compared to that place , Chatsworth is great! Best of all its inside PGA National which is a HUGE and absolutely stunning community with 5 golf courses. Many national and international golf tournaments are held there and PGA National is great! There is nice security, and thankfully, so far I have had 0 issues with the place. At Country Residence, my grandmother was always in a bad mood, but at Chatsworth she is a lot more friendly. I would recommend Chatsworth and the price isn't that high compared to some others. PS: Chatsworth has a memory care support program which my grandmother is in, and its also worth looking into (better than normal)!

Although many of their staff are very friendly, service is not up to par. Employed here are aides with no patience as well as aides who I've seen ridicule one of the elderly ladies eating dinner. It absolutely disgusts me to know this actually happens. The charge nurse has no sympathy, and when calling they make family feel as though they are an annoyance. Regrettably I would never recommend this place to anyone.
