It has taken me a couple months to write this due to loosing my dad in June. My dad was a resident at Veranda for 1 year. Every one of the staff that took care of my dad or interacted with me on all levels was kind and caring. He loved them. He danced and joked and hugged them and I could not have asked for a more gracious and caring group. They danced and joked and hugged him right back. You made our lives so special over the last year. Thank you so much. You will never be forgotten. My sister and I love you all. Hugs to you. This was a wonderful place for us to be in a very hard time. Please know your hugs helped us through. Kindness all around. Thank you!

My cousin has been in this facility for over 7 months. They only feed her and change her diaper. They do NOT bath her, wash her hair, or follow the doctor's orders, which are to place therapeutic boots on her every day - even though the instructions are posted on her wall by her bed. She is miserable and shame on them for not taking care of their patient's hygiene. She has not had a sponge bath in over 2 months even though her social worker has been told repeatedly. No activities are even offered to her.

My mother went to Veranda Gardens. They would get her up every morning and take her downstairs to just sit there. The staff was very good. The week before she died, she fell down and broke her shoulder, and that made me mad because I thought they knew that she was a risk for falling. The community was very clean. Each floor had a living room with couches where you could go watch TV. There were three to four tables with chairs. People would play the piano or you could come and watch the ball game with your family. Her room was extremely large. We weren’t crowded in there. I was satisfied with it.

Great access from I-275. Excellent therapy and outcomes for patient. Beautiful interior, has a movie theater and outside areas. Would recommend it to others.

The rooms here at Veranda Gardens are OK, but there was nothing impressive. It was small. The facility did not appear to be clean. I only met the person that took me on the tour. I would not recommend this place to my family. They showed me their cafeteria and nothing else.
