Evergreen Retirement Community was amazing. I got a chance to meet some of the occupants there. They have one area that has a stone wall. The facility is old. It was just a beautiful area. Everything was in place. They have a movie theater. You can have three meals, or you can call out and order meals if you want to. They have an exercise place and a place where you can go sit, drink your coffee, and enjoy the beautiful view. They have a garden where you can go and plant whatever you want to. The whole facility is just beautiful. They have walking spaces. They take great care of you. They have wellness checks, which I think is wonderful. They have little cottages sitting in different areas, and I love it. This is where I may be moving in. This was the best independent living facility I had ever seen.

We toured Evergreen Retirement Community. I thought the place was beautiful, and I don't want to say it didn't stink. There were no foul odors or anything like that. The grounds were kept very well. The building, all the rooms, and the independent cottages we saw were just gorgeous, and a very well-kept lawn. The outdoors and greenery, everything was very well manicured. I noticed that they do need a little work on their tennis court. One of the nets was damaged, but other than that, the places were just outstanding. Everybody was friendly. There were smiles wherever we went. The one we looked at was a two-bedroom, but one was converted into a sitting room or study room. It was clean. The kitchen was efficient. All the appliances look current and usable. I was a little concerned about the laundry, but they had hookups for everything there. I don't know if our equipment would fit in there as laundry rooms, but they had a laundry facility in the apartment. So, I was very impressed.

I went to Evergreen Retirement Community. I just felt like it was very clean and roomy. And it felt like it had a good atmosphere overall. The person who gave the tour was great. She was good. They had outdoor space. It was nice. I looked over to the pool. I guess the other side of it was assisted living, in which they had balconies and everything. It was nice. And then they had a pool separating the building that I was in. And it had umbrellas and cushioned chairs. It was nice.

We're going to move mom to Evergreen Retirement Community. They've got beautiful grounds. It's on 64 acres. The buildings are well maintained. It has nice-sized apartments and very friendly people. The staff is wonderful. She's going to be in independent living for now.

Evergreen Retirement Community felt a little bit more relaxed than the other one that we were looking at and comparing it with. I felt a little bit more comfortable there. Plus, they are completely renovating a two-bedroom apartment for us. Everything will be to our suggestions as far as paint, carpet, and two new showers, and that's at no charge to us. The staff members who assisted us were a lot of fun. They were very good at explaining things, taking us on tour, letting us come back, and having a meal there. We had one dinner there, and it was excellent. We were very pleased with it. With regards to the structure of the building, it needed some work. I think everything looked very clean, just a little bit of work was needed, and they were some remodeling at this time. The best way to describe its atmosphere is that it's comfortable and homey.

I toured Evergreen Retirement Community. The staff was not appealing, they're not friendly and honest. They had a lot of construction going on, and they had a lot of safety hazards going on which they did not protect the patients from hurting themselves. The staff needs to be more pleasant, for the mission to be more honest and more descriptive as far as their rules.

It’s a pretty apartment but ever since my mom moved into assisted-living she has had no air-conditioning. We’ve raised the issue with Staff over and over again for the past few months and they send maintenance but nothing changes. No one should be without air conditioning when it’s in the 90s, but it’s not taken seriously enough to actually fix. It seems to be a larger issue with Evergreen as even the hallway in assisted living was 87° today. For this, my mom pays over 6000 a month?

Evergreen Retirement Community was bigger and had more diversity. It had an eating area on each floor. So, if you are unable to go down to the main cafeteria, you could have something on your floor, which I liked. It was just far more expensive. They took us around to every place. They had a wide variety of activities and had a lot more areas.

Evergreen Retirement Community was a large facility. It seemed like everything was very, very nice. I like them. The staff did a great job. The building was very nice and very well set up. I could tell that everybody was part of the team. And they were very friendly and helpful. The room sizes were sufficient. That's one of my top picks if I had to pick one.

My mom will be moving into the Evergreen Retirement Community. The tour was great, and I loved it. I'm very happy to take my mom there. The staff was wonderful. He showed me everything and what I needed. The rooms were wonderful and very clean. It's like a studio apartment. They put everything in order. The staff there seems to be very good at working with the patients. They have activities that they do. They have a beauty salon. The layout of the facility was beautiful.

I toured Evergreen Retirement Community. I liked the quality and the setting of the facility. I like the staff-to-resident ratio. For what they are, it was priced appropriately. It's well-kept, recently updated, and clean. They offered everything. They offered meals, WiFi, transportation, activities, and accessibility.

Evergreen Retirement Community was nice but very expensive. In my opinion, it didn't offer enough for what the asking price was. The facilities were decent. They're nice. The staff was very nice and very respectful. The young lady who assisted us was extremely nice, very knowledgeable, very courteous, and very respectful.

We really liked Evergreen Retirement Community. The tour was very good. They answered all my questions. The people were very friendly. We had a complimentary meal and the food was good, but the servings were light. We were still hungry when we left. The activities seemed to be very robust. The residents were very friendly. They had apartments and cottages. The cottages were less expensive, but had more room. The apartments are a little bit smaller in space, but they are more expensive because you don't have to travel to another building to go to the dining room. They have one meal in the evening with independent living, and you need to go to the dining room in the main building to do that. In the apartments you pay a little bit more, but you get quicker service (if you fall or something like that), so that was an advantage. The person who gave us the tour and spoke with us was very focused on what our interests were so that they would have activities that suited us. They had people who quilt. They had sports activities. We were impressed that they had activities that were focused on current events. They accommodated different religious faiths. They went out to eat or went on excursions. If you have an electric scooter with you, they had room outside of your apartment to park it in the hallway, so that was a nice feature. A lot of people took their scooters when they went to dinner and things like that. The staff during the tour did an excellent job. The independent was separate from assisted living.

My dad was a resident of Evergreen Retirement Community for almost two months. The unit that he was in was well-maintained and updated. It seemed like a very safe community. The staff was attentive. They worked with us a lot, especially when we had to back out of the place. They had an activities person there. They had weekly social events and clubs. There was a courtyard. The facility was very clean. They just did some light remodeling, replaced the carpet, and painted the hallways. So it was very nice and well-furnished. We didn't have any problems with them. The management was very attentive. There were some times when the meals were either late or weren't brought up on certain days, but it wasn't a huge deal. We would email, and they would take it off of the bill.

Evergreen Retirement Community was too big, there were too many hallways and different places to go. My mother has memory loss. She would get lost. She wouldn't know which way to go when she walked out her front door if she lived there. It's beautiful and it's old. It's an old estate. It's on 176 acres or something. It was just too much. Plus, they didn't have enough staff on the floor for the residents, in my opinion. The staff was very nice.

Evergreen Retirement Community was very nice, I like their amenities and facilities. My only concern was that apparently, there's an annual increase in rates at the average of 5%. So that's my only hesitation. The couple that I knew had been there for a while moved, and that was the reason. The staff who assisted me during the tour, his name was Josh, he was very, very helpful, and very comprehensive. He showed us apartments, the little cottages that have their own garage attached, and so on. We talked about what sort of activities they do, and how people get their meals and stuff. So it was a great tour and very informative. There's a little area where you can get sandwiches and snacks, I'm not sure about the residents but we had to pay for them. It looks good and the choices were good. They were doing choir practice. I saw people sitting in various areas that looked comfortable and calm.

My mother is in Evergreen Retirement Community. It had a very nice atmosphere. Her cottage where she lives is absolutely beautiful. She felt right at home. It doesn't feel like a nursing home. It was very, very nice. That's why she liked it. She eats dinner there only, she is responsible for her own breakfast and lunch. We were very happy with the food before the pandemic. We have not been happy since, but they're just having a hard time getting back after the pandemic. The meals before the pandemic were very nice. The dining hall was very elegant, and the food was delicious. They have a menu to choose from, and it's just very lovely. They sit at little tables and it's quite fancy actually. Since the pandemic, it's not as good. They don't have enough workers. That's the real problem. She lives in a little cottage, and she has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a lovely kitchen with an eating table area, and a very nice living room with a sliding glass door that goes out onto her own private patio. So, it's extremely nice. She has her own washer/dryer. And it's just very, very nice. She loves it. She loves her unit. They have lovely party rooms and game rooms, and they do lots of activities. They have an auditorium, they have a little swimming pool for walking in, like four feet deep. They just have a lot. The garden is beautiful, like a chateau.

I went to Evergreen Retirement Community. The apartments are spacious. It is like 63 acres. It's very calming and relaxing, and it's a beautiful campus. They had a lot of outdoor activities. They showed us a room where different community arts come in to perform. It was a beautiful setting. We saw a model room. It was very spacious. The kitchen was nice. The only issue my aunt had with them is that it was more pricey than the other ones. The first floor had a patio, the second floor had a balcony, and the third floor had no outdoor space, so you wouldn't want to be in an apartment with no outdoor space. Other than that, it was an excellent facility. They only provided one meal, which I think was the other thing that impacted her decision. Other facilities did two or three meals. The one person that took us around was friendly, nice, and very informative.

Evergreen Retirement Community would have been our second choice. They had a great staff, but their independent living was straight up independent living. There's no add-ons and we weren't quite ready for assisted living yet. Other than that, it was a really nice facility, and they offer a lot of the same kinds of activities. It's got beautiful grounds and great facilities. Their apartments had a really nice space with big windows. It's clean with a nice layout and lots of storage. They had lots of green space, they had exercise activities, movie nights, and outings as well. It's still a great community.

Evergreen Retirement Community is one beautiful place. The eye appeal was just terrific. It's like a whole castle. The little place that we looked at was well kept and clean. The location for me was too far away from our family and friends. The people were helpful and kind. The young man answered my questions, and then he gave me a brochure about the place. The two apartments that I looked at were extremely roomy, well laid out, and would accommodate everything that we have to move. The staff seemed very enthusiastic and liked his job. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient. They had a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. They had places you could sit around and a little courtyard.

My husband and I have been living in Evergreen Retirement Community's independent living for about close to a year now. It's great, we have our apartment, we go to the dining room for our evening meal, and we have no complaints at all. We don't have anything to do with the staff, except in the dining room and that's fine. The cleanliness and upkeep are excellent. We have our evening meal in the dining room every day and the food is excellent. We're independent and so we have our own activities that we do. Our apartment has a full kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a large living and dining area, and it's just perfect.

Evergreen Retirement Community was closer to where I was. I liked the people that work there, and the appearance itself. The outdoor area was very nice. They have different activities they offer. The facility looked clean. Everybody seemed friendly. They've got a barbershop, a hair salon, a van, or a bus that takes the residents to and from the grocery store or to Walmart. There was a golf course, and like an auditorium where they play card games.

This place DOESN'T DESERVE ANY STARS! My mother came there for rehab. I was shock the front doors were unlocked with no staff around at 3am. I was on the phone with my mother as her CALL LIGHT been going OFF. When I got to her room, her CALL LIGHT was still going OFF. It was like 20 minutes after me getting there that I FOUND SOMEONE! I was even calling the nurse's desk as i waited with my mother. My mother was still in her same clothes for the day before and was never given any of her medicine. The girl (STNA) who I STOPPED told me she COULDN'T HELP my mother and this WASN'T THAT TYPE OF PLACE!!!!!!

I went to Evergreen Retirement Community. The staff was very nice, they showed us several apartments, but they were in construction and weren't ready for us. They don't have open dining; it was more old school because they have set times for meals, and it was farther away from us. The have a full array of activities. The independent living feels a bit smaller, they have a bistro where they can get food all the time, and the main dining room opens at designated hours.

Do not believe what you see on the tour. Lunch in the bistro is cover up as the food in assisted dining room is just plain awful-not to mention a horrible wait for bland cold food. There is only one floor nurse out of several thru the week, who is always helpful, follows up, has time to discuss concerns with resident problems. Way too many manager types-move in manager, dinning room manager, executive, who say they will do something to improve but don't do anything at all-say what they think you want to hear to get you to go away. Aides do not know how to approach folks in a helpful, positive way when resident is having a bad day-nearly caused a meltdown for the resident. Aides and nurses are always messing with their phones, close the door so you think they are not in the office when they really are. I call to ask about my family member or email after Bad days-maybe someone will call-mostly they don't bother. Even called security when I could not reach my family member by phone-NO ONE CALLED. Expect to wait at least 20 min for call button to be answered-definitely take their time. Had several persons who provide services to community to never put your loved one in memory care. I visited that area it is a dull dirty looking place.

My aunt is in Evergreen Retirement Community, and it's been a great experience. It's a very pleasant atmosphere, and the staff is very helpful. The place is very clean, and her apartment is very nice and spacious. The dining area is very pleasant, very clean, looks like a fine dining restaurant, and she thought the food is good. There's something going on every single day all day long. They do chair yoga, movies, plays, water aerobics in the swimming pool, card games, and a greenhouse where residents can plant.

Evergreen is horrible. The food is mediocre, and the housekeeping is deplorable, there's dirt in the hallways and on the steps that have been there for a long time. If something breaks the maintenance fixes it, but they won't do things like hanging pictures; they're not very helpful. My deck has been scummy, splintery and ugly, and the screen is broken, and I'm still waiting on that. They told me when I moved in that they'll work on that, but nothing has happened so far. It's a terrible place, and I noticed that the people who come to live there are there to die. It's not independent, but very assisted living. Everybody there has an oxygen tank, a wheelchair, or an electric scooter. They also have aides which they pay extra for.

I visited Evergreen, it is very nice, and the director is outstanding and super caring. The grounds were well laid out, and they have patios, but the director said she might need more of assisted care, instead of independent care. I feel she will would get lost because there are a lot of different hallways and spaces. Their food was the best, I went to a luncheon there, and it was like going to a nice restaurant, and the service was excellent. They served it to everyone in their main dining room, and I was truly impressed with that. They have a lot of activities, interesting ones too, including people from the outside coming in, and they were doing a fashion show with antique cars.

I visited Evergreen Retirement Community. I didn't get a chance to look at all of the apartments, but they were very nice and the sizes were adequate. They had nice cottages that were separate from the main lobby. I didn't look into the activities because I could not afford it under my current income. The staff was very professional and accommodating. I didn't find anything wrong with the facilities, but there were a few little intricate things that I wouldn't be critical of like the parking lot being a little tight or a little crowded for space. They had a very nice library.

Evergreen Retirement Community was very nice; it's just too far away. We went to their cafe. We visited both levels of care because they offer a concierge service that could keep Mom in independent living a little longer. They had lots of activities and lots of open areas, including an outdoor pool. It was lovely. If it was been closer, she'd be there. I had nothing to complain about. They were excellent all the way around, and everybody we met was lovely. It's pretty old, but it has new buildings.

Evergreen Retirement Community is fantastic and wonderful. The rooms are really good, pretty large, and you get to bring in your own decorations. My friends are living there, so I had dinner them, and the food is really good. They have a great chef. They take them on outings, and people come in and help them paint if they're interested. They had this one person come in and sing to them. They have a fantastic activity director. She gets everybody singing with her, even the people who were kind of lolling over. I didn't think these people would get involved, but she got them involved, so it's wonderful. You'll absolutely love it. The grounds are wonderful and beautiful and have all kinds of plants. They even have the residents help plant if they want and have flower gardens and a pool.

Evergreen Retirement Community's people and campus were very nice and was well maintained. I ate at their bistro, and the food was excellent. The director of Evergreen was wonderful, and it was quite a pleasure speaking with him. I liked that he showed me different possibilities, including their cottage facility, which is a two-bedroom with a garage that I liked. Evergreen Retirement Community is very nice, but you have to commit to paying to be able to pay 4 or 5 years. The staff is great, and the rooms are very nice. I have eaten at their little shop, and the food is good. You have to be able to have the funds to pay for it before you can be accepted there -- which is probably over $200,000 by the time you add that up for 4 years -- so it's quite expensive especially for someone who is 90 years old. I think it's cost-prohibitive for my mother-in-law. There is a registered nurse.

We really like Evergreen. It feels established like it has been there a long time. It's an old property, but they take pretty good care of it. They foster a sense of belonging. It isn't like an institutional setting, and the people are really nice, so it seesd to be the best setting. I like the history and the setting. The layout seems pretty easy for most of the residents there. They have a variety of rooms. We only saw two different styles of rooms; we ended up putting my mother-in-law in one of the one-bedroom units. The efficiencies and one-room units are too small. They have villas and separate homes near the facility. They have quite a few facilities there. She's in independent living, so they have signups for activities, shuttle service for various things, and you can walk around outside. It's pretty warm, but it's in a very wooded area. It's okay for someone who has the ability to walk. They have two levels on each wing. She's on a lower level that has a patio, which is ideal for her. They have a beauty shop and a gift shop. The move-in went really smoothly, and access to her apartment is really good. The good thing is she can come and go for the most part. Everybody's apartment has a little window and a little inset where you can put a couple of chairs, a bench, or a plant.

I really enjoyed the campus and it was stunning but the price point is ridiculous. And guess what, when you run out of money........you are screwed or have to go to the nursing home. The sales people were great but the place was really dirty and it was clear that it wasn't maintained to the standard of the price point. Sorry but my money is better spent elsewhere considering I would have to move out when my funds exhausted. Beautiful grounds though!

I loved the setting of Evergreen Retirement. It had peaceful grounds all around it. I saw two rooms; one without a balcony and one with. Both were wonderful and of good size. I liked the hallways. They are nice and wide with lots of light. They seem to have a sense of more activities maybe because of all the walking areas that are safe to walk. They also have a coffee shop with lots of tables. If I had a place to recommend for my aunt, it would be Evergreen.

We placed my mother-in-law in Evergreen Retirement Community. We really like the place. My mother-in-law is in a memory care unit, so it is pretty locked up. She is in a nice private room. The staff that works with my her seems to be experienced and very nice to work with. The dining room is set up nicely. They have a lot of activities from the beginning of the day to evening. I guess the only concern we have is the need to set up a proper communication channel with the staff there. Other than that, Evergreen Retirement Community is an excellent place.

Evergreen Retirement Community is where my father is. It’s a wonderful and an established place with lots of big trees. They have a golf area, and it has beautiful little walkways and gardens. My father is in their independent living, and everything is well kept. Everything is nice and clean. It's a very friendly community as well. Most of the staff addresses you by name. They really are very sincere and caring. The dining room is beautiful. It’s like going into a hotel dining room. They come and they take your order. The food is delicious. We went to Evergreen. I thought the price was reasonable, and it had good care. However, they had no covered parking. They had about the same activities level, and the floor plans were good. Overall, we had a positive experience. They had all levels of care like assisted, independent, skilled, and also memory care. They had a lot of community things and things for people to do every day.

My aunt had a gate pass, so we were able to attend the luncheon at one of their campuses, and they gave us an overview of their places. Evergreen was very nice, clean, and well-kept, and they provided a meal and showed us around the facility. It was very well-maintained, and the food was very good. My mother ate it and enjoyed it. They had various floor plans and models as far as going there. We only visited one. They were full and had a waiting list, but they allowed us to see the assisted living floor plan. The staff was very good, knowledgeable, polite, and friendly. They had a list of activities.

We've looked at Evergreen, and we were treated very nicely. We had a good time. The staff is good. The facility was kind of good-looking because I think it was an old farm or winery or something like that, and they expanded it and made a living system out of it. It was very nice. I was favorably impressed with Evergreen; we're going to go back and look again. It was a quick visit among a bunch of others; that’s why I’m going back to get a better impression.

Evergreen was nice, but it just didn't fit my expectation. The facility itself was very attractive, but it was more like an apartment building, so it wasn't attractive to me. The dining facility was like a restaurant though; it was very attractive.

Evergreen is beautiful. The grounds are lovely; you’re never looking out on a parking lot or at another building. It’s all landscaped gardens and a lovely building. My parents haven’t moved in yet, but they had a 2-bedroom apartment coming available, and it was due to be completely remodeled. We felt like it was a little more upscale. They got brand new kitchen cabinets, countertop, appliances, and new carpet. They got to pick the carpet and the paint colors. The rooms and the dining room are very, very nice. The staff was very nice. They have outings and trips to the grocery. They provide transportation anywhere you want to go. They have musicians and guest lecturers coming in. They have art classes.

My mom lives in Evergreen in assisted living, and she went in the hospital and they also have a separate full care facility there which is called Wellspring for rehab. She likes it, and it’s a nice place. She is in a room, and it is big. I am satisfied with the staff, and I am satisfied with the care they are providing. I think the food is pretty good because if it wasn’t she would have told me. In the assisted living part, there is a lot of stuff that they do, like they go to movies, shopping, and they take them out doing a lot of stuff.

My mother-in-law liked Evergreen the best from all the facilities that we looked at, and that is why chose this place. We liked what they had to offer. They seem to have a caring staff, and they also have a warm and friendly atmosphere. They seem to have respect for the elderly as well. It's a beautiful place and very beautifully kept up. They have a nice big dining room that they treat like a restaurant. They have tons of activities. They go on trips and around town. They also have some musical entertainment in the evenings. They play games together, and they have a swimming pool. They do arts and crafts and exercise. You name it, they got it. They have a very active activities director.

At Evergreen Retirement Community, they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. They weren't hurried with us, and they took us on a tour. They also answered every question we had. Anything that they could do to assist us, they did. The rooms were wonderful. Regarding the residents, everybody looked very content.

Evergreen Retirement Community is really beautiful. They have trees and gardens. It was just pretty, and it looked really clean. However, I found them to be very expensive. My parents need to have two bedrooms, but the two-bedroom unit they had there was more expensive. We viewed a one-bedroom apartment there, and it was very nice. It had a full kitchen as opposed to a little kitchenette. The dining area looked really nice too. There were a lot of places for their residents to do things. They had a pool table. Also, a movie was going if they wanted to go and watch a movie in the auditorium.

Evergreen Retirement Community is a one-floor facility. The staff that I met were just great and I think they have a good amount of staff there. I saw that they have a lot of reading rooms, sitting rooms, and TV rooms. They also provide transportation to shopping or to appointments for the residents. What I really like about this place is the room size.

I would give Evergreen very high marks. The facility is excellent and the people are delightful. I would give them high marks for everything except the cost. They have multiple activities. They take their residents to outside programs with a bus. They've got just about anything that a resident would want.

Evergreen has nice grounds and park like setting accessed straight from his apartment. My dad has a one-bedroom apartment and is adjusting very well with residents. The apartments had a full kitchen so if mom wants to stay there she can cook. The food there is excellent. I wish they get my dad out more and exercise him. They had a calendar of activities for the residents. The parking can be a little hairy at times.
