Absolutely the best, most caring staff. The way that she's been treated, the way they treat our family when we visit and their interactions with her have made a positive transition from her home to the facility. We greatly appreciate all of them.

I have been to the facility several years and known a few people in there. The staff does not take care of the residents. If resident has surgery of any kind the staff will not follow directions for the healing of the surgery. I know someone that was supposed to have their surgery area cleaned at least 2 times a day and in roughly 16 days it was only cleaned 5 times. Is this how your own family is treated. I would not even want to put my dog in there for fear they would not take care of it. Food is never right when received and cold most of the time or given something they can’t eat. Insulin is not administered on time, medications have been wrong when given to patient and half the time don’t even want to give them their medication. No actives are done. I have seen nursing homes doing all kinds of different activities with their residents except for here. I don’t understand all the crap that goes on. No one wants to do their job or if family calls they don’t want to return phone calls like they don’t care. They are just there to take the residents money and then do nothing for them in return. Also my friends have had things stolen from them and no one seems to want to do anything about it. I do spread the word when asked what i think of this place. Believe me it is not good.

I moved my mom because of the neglectful care she was not given. Two injuries went ignored. It took me getting her help. House dr promised me she’d check my mom. Dr went out of town instead. Staff leave meds on nightstand in rooms. I’ve witnessed so many times call lights go unanswered when staff are chatting instead. I heard a resident yelling help me and saw their call light was on I saw 2 aides walk right by that room. They ignored the resident. An LPN was in the DON position. There’s so much to complain about but I know it’s useless because after all the complaints and yes complaints made to state and it was substantiated but still issue go ignored. Do not send your loved ones here.

Facility was recommended and we agreed without researching the facility. What was most disturbing to me was when I would visit along with nasty conditions the staff was always dismissive when I would confront them of his needs. I would over hear the arguments when on the phone with him. The condition of his backside was harendous. I wish I could post photos.

The full nursing hallway I visit, usually, in my opinion smells terrible and my family member, in my opinion, is left in unclean diapers too often. I have found dirty diapers and laundry in the room on chairs and on top of the sink. Despite many requests, the quality of care has not improved. The hallway carpet, floor in the rooms, common area, are tacky/sticky and carpets are stained. Some caregivers are truly devoted and deserve great credit, but something is very wrong when obvious and persistent problems are not corrected. The memory unit is far better. But full nursing, in the hallway I'm familiar with, is not, in my opinion, a place to have a loved one try to live. My loved one is probably too frail now to move but we're trying.

My dad is at Hyde Park Health Center. The staff seems to be very committed to their patients. He is in their memory care unit, which is a small unit within a larger facility. The rooms in the memory care unit are a pretty good size, and well-maintained; they are individual, private rooms. The food is actually my biggest complaint because it's pretty institutional and bland. Their activities are limited but are provided Monday through Friday.

I saw the rooms at Hyde Park, which were single and double rooms. The staff was friendly and tried their best to facilitate and explain how things work. I ate there, and the food was about the same as in other facilities. They tried hard with the food and to create a good diet, but it is still commercially prepared.

Hype Park Health Center is close to me. I visited this center for my husband. I have also been in there to see one of my church members. The facility was beautiful and clean. I didn't see any patients that seemed neglected and that was a plus for me. The admitting person was pretty informative and nice; however, when I inquired about their availability, they were filled up.

The staff at Hyde Park Health Center are very helpful. They are really trying to help my sister get into a good place. I just find them all very nice. The place is very nice and clean. She shares a room with another woman and the room is pretty roomy. They had provided her with a television. They have a lot of activities to get people involved in like bingo. And they go on for a mystery line where they take the residents for a ride in a bus. It feels nice.
