"My wife was a resident at Angels Touch for 16 months and I visited her daily during that time. The management was actively involved daily with the residents. The employees were well trained and exhibited compassion and care for the residents. The facilities are extremely well maintained and clean with daily housekeeping a norm. There was a daily activity level which was well organised and adequate. The business model employed by ownership would serve as an excellent model for other dementia facilities. I was always well informed of my wife's condition and had any questions answered promptly."

"We're hoping to get my in-laws into here. The rooms were spacious, they had two different rooms, a studio, and then they have a regular room. It's like a little apartment, and they are very nice. The place is just beautiful, and the lady that I met with was just wonderful. She listened and she cared. I met the cooks and they were very nice, they were clean, like they had cook's uniforms on. They have a lot of amenities. She showed me a board and there is a lot for the residents to do. There's a salon up there, they have a room where they do things like bean bag toss, and activities, and exercising. It is very nice."

"My mom is in Allouez Parkside Village and I'm very satisfied at this point. The staff appears to be very receptive and very caring, and they're taking good care of her right now. The community layout is very open and very easy to get around. They can improve on having a little bit more consistency with having the same caregivers available. They have an exercise group, they do church service, they do local news and activities like that to keep everybody up to date."

"I toured Patient Pines Assisted Living. It was amazing. It's a very clean facility, and has extremely nice staff. The information that they provided was upfront and great. They're not a la carte. Everything was included, including the showering. Everything was all in one place, which was wonderful. They have a beautiful courtyard. The common area and the dining area were very nice."

"My stepdad is at Magnolia Meadows and they just seem very helpful and very open to wanting to take care of people there. The place he was at previously said they could not keep him there, but in this place, they said they will keep him there. The memory care place is just pleasant and the people I've met there are very pleasant too. They try to get the residents active through games or bingo or different things. Cleanliness seems fine. They have someone that comes in and does their hair, but I don't think they have an actual salon. I believe that they're somewhat short-staffed, but I haven't noticed any issues."

"We moved my mother into Oak Park Place to be with my dad. The process for getting her into the building was very chaotic, and I think they could have done a better job. Everything got done, but they had some changeover in staff. I think that was part of the problem. Otherwise, the facility was great. The best thing was she was very welcomed by the staff and other residents. My least favorite part about the place is that they don't have enough rooms available. She really wanted to get into a one-bedroom. It was a two-bedroom, the last place she was in, but she had to go into a studio. We're only taking that for as long as it takes until we can get her into a one-bedroom apartment. Both of my parents have said that the food is OK. They have a lot of activities. There is a TV lounge, a dining room, and a salon."

"The rooms are cleaned nicely, friendly staff, and good food and delicious desserts, very prompt on giving my mom her pills, I don’t have to worry I know my mom is being welled cared for."

"Moraine Ridge Senior Living was nice. The halls and everything was nice and wide. The room had a kitchenette with it. The staff during the tour was good. They were friendly. They gave me all the information I needed. The atmosphere was good. There was a group playing bingo when we were there, so there was a good social network there for activities to be in a group. They had a list of all the days of different activities, so they had all kinds of different games and outings. There's a bus stop that's not too far from there. If they wanted to take a bus, they could take a bus to downtown. I think they had some community bus there, too. The facility was good. They were clean and they had a library and different places if you wanted to have a quiet time or if you wanted to be in the group activities."

"Staff seem very friendly and were able to answer all of our questions. It appears very family oriented and very clean/well kept. "

"I'm in Emerald Bay Retirement Community. They also have an Alzheimer's dementia department. It's a big complex. They have four wings and they're very nicely done. I like the floor plan of it, better than anyone that I've seen. All of the places are running with a problem of getting help, not just this one. Staffing is very, very short. The food is good, but it's too salty and we brought this up many times. They serve a lot of pasta, spaghetti, noodles, a lot of chicken, and salty ham. They've got good people working here. They're excellent and if you're fortunate enough to get them, it's good. If not, you get people that are not good. They've got some very good staff but they've got some really bad ones, too. Their med techs or passers are excellent. The RAs are not very good. They have a lot of activities. Every Friday, they have happy hour, they have bingo every day, entertainment once or twice a month, they have manicures for the women, rock painting, and fall decorations that they make. There's always something going on."

"Harvest Home has only eight rooms, so it's more of a family environment. Mom's been in there for a couple of months now and she loves it there. Everybody's friendly and right there for you. She's like part of the family there. She was all by herself before, but they got her involve in activities. "
