We had a 20-minute tour at Sterling House of Oshkosh and that was very good. The facility is very nice. I think my parents would be happy there. They provide three meals a day. For the time that I was there, the staff were very nice to me and very friendly. They were able to answer any of the questions that I ask.

My mom spent a month and a half at Sterling House of Oshkosh but she's back home now. She was treated well there. The people were very nice to her even though she stayed for a short time. It's an assisted living so they are not expected to keep track of every move she makes. There was an instance when she wasn't drinking enough fluids and ended up in the hospital from dehydration. I think she needs more attention than what's offered by assisted living.

The Sterling House of Oshkosh assisted living facility was recommended by an acquaintance in the region as an option for our aunt. It looked like a very nice community with a home-style atmosphere. The yard featured many places for seniors to enjoy around the grounds safely. The property also had plenty of park-like space with tranquil, large trees and nicely manicured lawns. We could see that the residents were content and well cared for when we arrived. As we walked through the building, the interior design was fresh, bright and was nicely ordered and easy to navigate. Each room had nice views with a calming, yet not boring décor featuring lots of fresh air and light. Dining rooms were comfortable and spacious. The residents enjoy healthy, home-style cooked meals in a comfortable and casual setting. The menus included many interesting dishes, as well as the usual American meals. Snacks were offered regularly throughout the day and whenever desired by residents. The food looked and smelled delicious, as well as healthily prepared. The many activities included an extensive calendar of events including many stimulating activities like fun ways to exercise with nature walks and the opportunity to enjoy all that Oshkosh and surrounding areas has to offer. The fitness center included daily yoga and aerobics exercise classes. The equipment is available throughout the day and they also offer instruction and assistance. Residents also regularly safely navigate the lovely garden pathways. The private living spaces were all decorated tastefully with a homey, light and airy atmosphere. Each room had nice views of the surrounding area. Bathrooms were designed with safety rails and seats. The residents all looked content, well taken care of and appeared to be really enjoying their lives in this home here.
