I visited this facility

Have visited many times as a guest to public events. Everyone is consistently friendly. The facility is always clean. Food top notch. Feel most welcome at anytime I have visited there. Keep up the good work. Don't ever skimp on the quality of your caring outreach to those of us in the community.

Oak Park Place is a really nice clean place with a great facility layout for memory care with long hall and grate lighting. Each hall ends with nice seating area all lots of windows to look out and see some nature and wildlife. I recommend everyone to check out the facility to accommodate your loved one. The staff is always there to help and am happy my mom was so comfortable in her last couple years. I search and looked at a lot of facilities and would choose this one again. They have a saloon and have daily activities for those who can still enjoy fun times. There is not a cost for a loved ones great care. My two sisters and myself all got to experience it first hand visiting on a weekly basis. So take the guess work out of their care. Rooms are nicely designed. Staff is always helpful and we’re there through my moms first and last days.

I visited this facility

I visited Oak Park Place Green Bay, WI. I thought it was marvelous, and that's where we'd like to end up, but they have a waitlist, as does everyone. The community was very active. The overall experience was enlightening because I had seen some other facilities that didn't even come close to them. They keep their people very active, whether it's the memory unit or whether it's the assisted living unit. It's far better than any of the others I have seen so far. They have a lot of good activities, like if they choose to paint something, they can. They have an entire room with an instructor that will help you with those activities. So, nobody's sitting around and waiting for the end of life. I don't think anybody ever leaves that place because they're unhappy. I know they have entertainment that comes in. For example, my mom is an artist, so she would have been able to use her oils with supervision because she is 96, but she would have been able to do those things. They have a garden. She makes jewelry, and she could do all of that stuff there. The dining area was very nice and very clean. I have not tried their food; it was just a tour. The person who gave me the tour, her name's Lisa, she was very personable, a very nice person, and very thorough. I really didn't get a chance to see the inside of the studios from Memory Care because they were all occupied. I could see them as I walked through the hall, and they all seemed quite nice. I did tour one of the rooms in the assisted living, and it was very nice. They have a variety of rooms. They have one-bedrooms and two different sizes of studios. The studios were pretty much larger than you see in other places.

I visited this facility

We toured Oak Park Place Green Bay for my mom. The layout was great. It felt like an apartment building, more so than a facility, so, it had a more homey feel to it. The staff is very friendly. The girl who was giving us the tour was from the business office, but she knew all of the residents' names and all the staff names, and I appreciated that. The room is spacious. It felt homey versus like a clinical or sterile environment. But the rooms were big, the closets were big, and the bathrooms were very nice and very accommodating. The dining area is very open with lots of different types of tables and spaces. Some were by the window, and some were moved around. It was very, very wide. The building is pretty new, so it had the new look and feel to it. The interaction that I had with them was very good. They seem very friendly. I didn't talk exclusively one on one with any of them when we were on our tour, but what I saw when they were caring for and working with the residents there was very good.

We moved my mother into Oak Park Place to be with my dad. The process for getting her into the building was very chaotic, and I think they could have done a better job. Everything got done, but they had some changeover in staff. I think that was part of the problem. Otherwise, the facility was great. The best thing was she was very welcomed by the staff and other residents. My least favorite part about the place is that they don't have enough rooms available. She really wanted to get into a one-bedroom. It was a two-bedroom, the last place she was in, but she had to go into a studio. We're only taking that for as long as it takes until we can get her into a one-bedroom apartment. Both of my parents have said that the food is OK. They have a lot of activities. There is a TV lounge, a dining room, and a salon.

Oak Park Place Green Bay was lovely. The decoration was just so beautiful, it was very clean and the people were extremely friendly. The rooms were very nice and the staff themselves seem very friendly. They had a Steinway piano, a very, very nice meeting room. When I was visiting, they have two seminars-- one that works for caregivers of people with dementia, and the other one was a couple of musicians came. They share, periodically, music with the residents. And then the residents who are bound to their rooms, who can't leave their rooms to come to the concert, the people who were providing the music went to their rooms after the concert was over and I thought that was really sweet. I love that the setting was really lovely for my dad who farmed his whole life because when you looked out the windows, you could see a beautiful farm field that was just lovely.

We went to Oak Park Place Green Bay, WI. Overall, it was probably the nicest place we went to. It's very new. It was just a really beautiful place. I saw a lot of staff. Out of all the places, they'd probably look the best staffed. They're a little more expensive, which is understandable than some of the places we were at. The big problem was that my mother has some wounds on her body, so we need to have an LPN or RN that would change the bandages on her wounds. This place has a nurse that comes sometimes throughout the week, but they didn't have one on staff that could kind of take care of that. We would have to arrange to have someone go there and take care of that situation, so that was kind of a letdown. Otherwise, Oak Park was very new and very nice. The staff who toured us was professional. You could tell they were very experienced people, and from what we saw, it's a beautiful place. The rooms were nice, the way they were laid out. It would have been a very nice room for my mom. The dining room has very nice tables and a very beautiful dining area, so that looked very nice. It's a beautiful building. It looked clean and well kept. I didn't see any things out of order. I'm sure their maintenance and housekeeping are pretty good.

The staff at Oak Park Place Green Bay were very amazing, helpful people. The facilities were great, but it just doesn't work for us. They have great walk-in showers, which is what my mother needs. They have happy hours and things like that that she might enjoy, and they have great outdoor views. As far as going for walks in the garden, that would be great. It was very well-kept; they have a good facility. The staff who gave the tour was amazing, and she was very, very helpful.

Oak Park Place Green Bay was very nice and if you don't have a special diet, it's a fine place to be,. It's not equipped to handle my husband. The staff was nice. They were great. It's a very nice facility, it was not as bright and cheery as the other place, but it was a nice, clean, good-smelling place. There were quite a few things available. I know they have bingo, events, a special rooms for games, and there was a TV room. It would be easily accessible for us. It's just a little out of the way on a side road, but it was easy to get there.

I visited Oak Park Place, and it was a great tour. I can't remember her name, but the lady who gave us the tour was great. She showed us four different rooms. The inside of the place was nice and bright. It's open and has a very homey feeling. There were activities; they do whatever they can within the COVID guidelines at the moment -- that's why it's extremely limited. They are a lot more open to activities than a lot of other places, though. There is a courtyard, a big community center, and the end of the hallway there are also little get-together areas. There is also a cafeteria and a place to get your hair cut.

My husband seems to like Oak Park Place. He had a few issues the first week, but I addressed them and things have been better. I'm pretty happy so far because I would not hesitate to take him out if I wasn't happy. His apartment is fine. It has a very spacious layout. He likes to walk, and he's got plenty of room to walk. They have sunrooms at the end of each hallway, and he'll go sit in there and take a nap on the couch. They have it laid out like in a T. The staff is pretty nice. It's a newer facility, and they really try to engage the residents there, so they sleep better at night, and I like that. You don't see many of them sitting in a chair hung over. They have three and a half activity people there, so there's always someone doing something with a group. They're not just sitting there staring at the TV.

I went to Oak Park Place Green Bay. It was very nice, it was a beautiful place, decorated better, newer, and the rooms were very nice. They had activities going on when I was there; there was a group of people playing cards. The manager was very nice. She was showing me the prices of things, but she gave one price and then goes, "Well, I'm not really sure what the price is, it might have gone up," so I assumed it was higher. It was farther away for me to visit my mom and for my brother as well, plus Mom would have to give three months notice if she decided to go home, and it was a little more expensive than the other place. The dining area was very pretty, the facility was out by the woods, and the views were better.

Oak Park Place Green Bay is less than perfect. They didn't have covered parking, which was a big deal for my parents. The place is relatively small with limited services. The apartment I saw was great, well-maintained and very new. The dining area was just average, we tried the food which was just a light meal and it was also just average. They have memory care if you're looking for that, and the staff is very friendly. The layout was fine, it's all in on a single level which was very nice and the community is kind of in a remote location.

Everybody at Oak Park Place was really friendly and open. It was a well-priced, brand-new facility. They gave me a choice whether Mom would like to look at the fields and the forest or whether she gets to have flowers, so everybody has a window. I'm so pleased that she's there. They have many activities during the day for her and her hair gets done once a week. They seem to have everything, and even though now I'm 300 miles away from them, they will call me, talk to me and communicate how my mom is doing. I can go home and say my mom is in the right place. My mom is in the memory unit and they pick the food for her. The food is fresh and good. They let them finish what they're eating and check that they have enough fluids. The place is always neat and clean. They're at tables, so they can talk with friends. The whole way they do things is very nice. It has many areas for family and an activity room, entertainment, activities, and field trips. They make it so friendly for families. I am so pleased with them.

Oak Park Place is very nice and good. The rooms are nice, but kind of hard to plug in through electrical outlets. I liked the staff and they're very good people. My mom participates in some activities, but they could use some more. The food was very good.

The girl that I talked to at Oak Park Place Green Bay was very knowledgeable. We saw both a studio and a room, and they were both beautiful. They had cathedral ceilings, and they had a nice amount of space in them. I have nothing bad to say about the community at all. The staff we talked to was fine, she understood our power of attorney situation, and gave us a good response.

My husband moved in at Oak Park Place on the first of May. He's happy and likes it. He also likes the food. We had to do the furnishing for his room.
