Lone Star Legal Aid(254) 939-5773Lone Star Legal Aid is a nonprofit agency that provides guidance and representation for those aged 60 and over in Killeen. Its lawyers can help seniors navigate civil legal and financial issues related to transitioning to assisted living, such as understanding contracts for different services and levels of care, involuntary discharge and refund policies, and estate planning. Seniors can also get help with accessing public benefits such as Medicare, Medicaid and Supplemental Security Income, which can help cover healthcare and assisted living expenses.
