There are many good things about the Delaney at Georgetown Village. My dad lives there and it's a very large facility. It is very clean and there are many activities for the residents. The staff takes very good care of the residents. They have van transportation for their residents who do not drive, a salon, a gym, live music where people come in and do that, speakers that come in as well, and an onsite wellness clinic with nurses on full time staff and doctors that come in on a weekly basis. They are just having problems with the food service. The quality of the food has gone down, and the quantity. A lot of times they run out of food.

We loved The Delaney at Georgetown Village. It was beautiful. We were impressed with it, but it was a little bit pricier than the other ones. We liked the layout of the place. Most of the residents there were city people. They gave us some scones and it was really good. All the staff that we met were very friendly and we enjoyed the tour.

My mom moved into The Delaney at Georgetown Village. All of the staff is extremely caring and patient with her. It's a very elegant facility and the food is fabulous, pretty much made-to-order and restaurant quality. They have all kinds of activities, exercise classes, and games. My mom does not participate much. The dining room is very nice and elegant.

We went to The Delaney at Georgetown Village for my friends. It's large, it seems lavish. The guy that took us around, he is the right person in the right job. He was very pleasant, easygoing. They seemed to have a lot of activities for the husband, who's still independently capable, but still has a lot of care for his wife that needs a lot of care. I know the husband loved the social aspect, so many things going on that he could take part in. The ceilings were high and it seemed very spacious, and the meals, the menus seemed like you were at a resort. That's how it feels. And he really liked it and he would have done it, except it was so expensive. We saw a two-bedroom apartment that was available on the ground floor, and that's the only one we went into. It was quite nice. It would have worked well for them. The staff was friendly, low key, he didn't seem like he was pitching it, and he just seemed comfortable, affable, and discerning as to what their needs were.

My friend liked The Delaney at Georgetown Village of the three places we went to yesterday. I think it has so many things to offer. I loved the size of it, the cleanliness of it, and all of the activities they had. I liked the fact that they had a registered nurse on duty. There was bingo, there were movies. We saw one of the aides pushing someone in a wheelchair outside on a little walk. It was very nice that they took the time to do that. On our tour every resident spoke to the man that gave us the tour, he knew them all by name, and that's a pretty big outfit. We saw a one-bedroom, very nice, and the size was fine. It was very clean. It was very well-maintained, and the layout, they're just two little rooms, but that's fine. That would work just fine for what my friend was going to need. The food is the best thing about the whole place. It's like going into a lovely restaurant with a waitstaff. They had fresh linens on the table, you can pick between two entrees, and you have a choice of side. You have a choice of three or four desserts, a choice of your drink and then if you don't like any of the specials, you can come over to the other side of the menu. You get a menu and you can have any of the different sandwiches they offer, hamburgers, chicken, you name it, BLT, and salad. I was amazed at the foodservice, and if you don't want to come down and eat, you can come down on your little walker, pick it up, they have it packaged, and take it back up to your little room or apartment, or they will bring it to you if you don't feel like coming down.

I went to The Delaney at Georgetown Village. It's very clean. The staff is very knowledgeable, and the residents appear to be happy. They answered our questions. The place is kept up very nice, and it looked like fairly new. It was a good location. It's close to my mother, but the difference ultimately came down to the price. The room was perfect size. It had all the lenses they needed. It's a typical nice bedroom.

A lady took me on a tour of the memory care facility at The Delaney at Georgetown Village. It was very bright. They have the one-way doors, and there is a code to get in and out. They have the door going out in their courtyard open, where the residents can go in and out. The place was large and well lit. There were some ladies eating in the dining area, and they had areas where they could do activities or play games. They provide all the furniture for the rooms like the bed, a chair, and side table. Down the halls, they had a nurse's aide stationed right there in the apartment hall area. They had chickens outside in the courtyard, and the residents collect the eggs at times. They also had raised gardens. Their courtyard was small, but it was all leveled and very inviting. They had two sections of 16 residents. It does not have availability though. They just have a waiting list right now. They have a beauty salon and a podiatrist. They have the doctor and a nurse practitioner who come in, but it is different than what we are currently using. The marketing person was real sweet, nice, and gave me information. We didn't get to go into a room.

My parents moved into The Delaney at Georgetown Village. It is very, very nice, very clean, and protected from COVID. The staff is over-the-top good. My parents love the meals, and they love their room -- they have a really great room. There are really no negatives at all; it is all very, very positive. My parents have not really started any activities yet. I know they have a lot, but my parents are not involved in much yet. They're still getting used to the apartment and the big change from their home to there.

The Delaney at Georgetown Village is a beautiful facility. They have a nice, large exercise area and an area where you can go and watch movies. I'm not sure how much of this is independent living or assisted living, though, because they're all in one building: the independent, assisted, and memory care facility. They have a TV room and a large area with tables where they play bingo and different games. I think that could all just be independent living, though, because the assisted living was in another wing. The rooms surround a large area at the center where they have their meals and activities. I just don't know if assisted living residents have access to all of those other amenities; I am not clear on that. They're all very clean and well maintained. Delaney is a four-year-old, large building so with it being so new, you'd expect it to have a lot nicer, cleaner, and more updated rooms.

Staff is very helpful, responsive and caring. Staff turnover is low, which (most importantly) assists in providing the kind of personalized care which Memory Care residents need and deserve. If I have a question or concern re my mother's care, staff is quick to respond and willing to go the extra mile to ensure a resolution plan is developed. Both nursing and activities staffs convey a positive and patient attitude which translates to a very pleasant environment for residents. Staff is typically readily available on the floor if I need them. Activities offered provide a good balance of both physical and mental exercise and participation by residents is high. Residents particularly enjoy an abundance of musical activity (typically several times per wk) and exercise is incorporated into both musical and a variety of other activities. Memory Care facility includes a living room, dining room and open kitchen. This aids in creating a comforting environment for residents in which they can socialize and/or share meals and activities in a small setting. Resident apartments are appropriately sized and cleaned on a daily basis. Bottom line is that my mother is both active and very happy with her decision to reside at The Delaney.

Upon our first visit, The Delaney appeared to be a nice place. After returning, looking at apartments and talking to residents, my 99 year old mother moved in and has been at The Delaney over a month. The Delaney is indeed a very nice place. The staff from housekeepers to executives are warm caring individuals committed to assisting and making life for residents an enriching experience. There are many activities for mom to choose from and she really enjoys the variety on the menu. Mom is happier than she has been in years and that makes the rest of her family grateful for the kind caring staff at The Delaney.

The Delaney is such a wonderful place for my mom. She is 87 and needs lots of assistance to live her life fully in these last years. Mom's room is just the right size for her and she has a private bathroom. The staff keep her room, and the common areas, clean and orderly. The staff at the Delaney - including caregivers, nurses, therapists, and management, work well together as a team to assist mom with her daily routines (such as grooming and eating), ensure she has plenty of activities to enjoy, and attend to a growing list of medical needs. Most importantly, the staff at the Delaney feel more like extended family than paid professionals, as they help us to keep mom feeling safe, loved, and valued in these latter years. The fact that they will work with us to allow mom to age out in place also gives us peace. I would say that, what we have discovered is this: They say it takes a village to raise a child. Well, it turns out that it also takes a village to help someone to the end. You can find no better "village" than the Delaney at Georgetown Village, to help negotiate this challenging time. We are thankful and blessed that the Delaney can care so much better for mom than we can by ourselves. It frees us up to just love on her as much as possible. I recommend that you come and see for yourself if you have an aging loved one who needs extra attention.

The Delaney at Georgetown Village was only a couple of years old and was very nice. It had a lot of different floor plans. I thought it was cold and more formal. You get served your meals at the table. I didn't find the staff as friendly, although the rooms were gorgeous and very high end as far as the countertops and the cabinets. The food was very good.

The Delaney at Georgetown Village was very nice and clean. The person who gave me the tour was very knowledgeable of everything. It was definitely one of the places I would consider. They had showers in the rooms and all of them were clean and very convenient. The visiting hours were anytime you want it to be. The menus looked pretty good.

The Delaney at Georgetown Village was fine. It wouldn't be my first choice, but it was fine. The problem with the areas around here in Georgetown is that there are no rooms available and you had to put your name on the waiting list. The room that I was able to see had not been cleaned, and it's not ready for anyone to move in. That was the only way they could show me anything because the rooms were full. I heard from another resident that they weren't very pleased with the meals. The staff was fine, the place looked clean. The dining area looked clean, it wasn't being used by the time I was there. I could see one small area outside that was a garden.

I had the pleasure of working with Tiffany E. and Danielle C. at the DeLaney as we considered the Assisted Living for my father. Both are outstanding professionals with years of experience in helping family members navigate the range of options as aging parents are in need of higher greater levels of care. The facility is clean, bright and professionally run with the safety, health and interests of the residents top of mind.

We visited The Delaney at Georgetown Village. What stood out to me was their security system, meal times and camaraderie of all the residents. It's also located not very far from doctors. I like that it doesn't have a four-year waiting list. We have several different room choices, but they'll have to give us a smaller one before a bigger room opens; then they'll move us there. The dining room is very open and resident-friendly. Guests are always invited to sing. When you walk in and you're an unfamiliar face, they will engage you. They don't have a pool, but they have a workout room, game room, movie theater, events nights and cocktail hour. Every staff member I met was courteous, polite, and very helpful.

We are impressed with The Delaney at Georgetown Village because it's a brand-new, beautiful community. Everything was clean and neat. It was the Christmas holiday, and they had it very well decorated. The residents had decorations and wreaths on their doors; it was very nice. The food was delicious. The way they served it was excellent. The tour guide was excellent and showed me the weight room and the library.

My mother-in-law and sister-in-law are enjoying The Delaney at Georgetown Village, which offers more help with daily life skills. They also have a van which has a wheelchair lift. It just opened up this year so everything is very new. Their apartment is very clean and has new carpeting. They said the food has been excellent. So far they have not had any problems with the help. We've been very pleased. The price is very individualized for each of them so it's very fair.

The Delaney at Georgetown Village was a very nice facility with nice people. That's where we were going to put Mom if we got that far, but we didn't get there. The person who assisted me was very nice and very helpful. The facility was clean. We sampled the food and it was very good. They have art projects, some gardening, outings that they would take the residents on, and they have doctors and nurses that come in or they take them to the doctor. It's pretty comprehensive. They have pretty much everything there.

I toured two places and I chose The Delaney at Georgetown Village. The quality of the tour I received was much better, the facility was brand new, the rooms were larger, and it had more facilities. The activities and the grounds were also better suited for my parents' needs. They offer meals together, which I liked, but they also have social events. They have trips and entertainment, games, and exercise classes. I was impressed with the size of the selection. I met the cleaning people, the front greeter, and the lady who showed us around, and they were all very gracious, kind, smiling, and I felt very welcome there.

The Delaney at Georgetown Village is an excellent facility. They've just opened, and there aren't many people yet. The rooms are a bit smaller -- but a lot of light -- smaller closets and access to bathroom with various goods. It's extremely expensive, and it's a huge facility. It has 2 dining rooms, fireplaces, a very large workout room, and a media center.
