My sister lived 5 years and 5 months as a resident of Rosewood Senior Living in Killeen,TX. She was well cared for physically and emotionally the whole time. The staff and attendants were always available and helpful. The meals were served three times a day and were always tasty. Cleanliness was always a priority and much appreciated. My sister found the activities provided both mentally and physically stimulating. The fellowship between all residents was delightful. I highly recommend this facility.

My mother was at The Rosewood for a month. They did not do anything to her wound. They didn't take the stitches out. She was there for 30 days when she was supposed to come out after 10 days. Her leg was so swollen and puffed up and infected that she could have lost it. They sent us home with nothing. No instructions whatsoever. I had no idea what to do. So, I did the best I could. Just a week later, when it was going to the gangrene area, I had to take her to the emergency room. The facilities themselves and the place smelled like urine all the time. The furniture there was from the 1970s. It's all beat up and scratched up. It's horrible. The food was OK.

I was not impressed with The Rosewood. The director was unable to take me on the tour as scheduled. He passed me off to another staff member, I think a nurse or the head of the nursing. The facility was very outdated and very old. It didn't seem well cared for. The people were nice, but it just seemed a little disorganized. The nurse was very nice. It seems like it needs a complete facelift. The rooms were outdated, old, and small. The square footage of the room was 450 square feet.

I found The Rosewood for my mother. She is not in there yet. They're very kind about getting back with me. It was an open layout. I visited it three times, but I just showed up so it wasn't like a planned visit, so that impressed me. There were different people on staff each time I showed up. The staff members were very attentive, very professional, and caring with the residents. It's an older building, so I think it could use some renovation.

Very disappointed in our experience so far. They have not been forth right with my questions and do not return calls after me repeatedly asking for a call back even though they say they will My husband was admitted with doctors orders and the will not follow them because “they don’t do it that way “. Misinformed us of their specialties before he was admitted No nursing interaction til after lunch on his first day there even though he has acute health issues

The Rosewood was a huge place. It had a locked door but when you look inside, nobody was there at the entrance to let you in. We had to wait forever for somebody to take notice. My mom's friend complained that there weren’t enough nurses on staff. The place was new and looked nice, but it wasn’t fancy. It was a big open area because there was nobody around.

My friend is at Rosewood Nursing & Rehab Center. Everything is good. It is a good place for her. The staff members and nurses are good people. They have quite a few activities and do rehab there too. They give her surprises and play ball. She is making friends there. I’m happy where she is, and it is close to where I live, so I could go over anytime.

While three of the nurses' aids were kind and responsive to my daughter, the remainder were not. Although my daughter was a diabetic, she was routinely served meals like a "grilled-cheese" sandwich made with white bread and Velveeta-type cheese, soaked in margarine. After I complained several times, the kitchen began serving some vegetables, once daily. For fruit, she was given canned apple pie slices, My daughter's skin began breaking down, leaving her with angry rashes and ulcers. One aid rubbed these sores with a rough washcloth during a shower, leaving the sores open and my daughter in tears. My daughter became increasingly nauseous, and vomited daily. Visitors found her lying in vomit several times a week. Her left side was paralyzed, and visitors daily found the call button tied out of her reach on her left guardrail (next to the wall, so the staff had to do this deliberately. Her urine was brown and her output was less than 250 ml per day. Yet, we routinely found that she had no water or her table with water was pushed across the room, out of reach. I spoke with the acting director at least ten times about my daughter' scare, receiving shrugs and promises, but seeing little change.

My mother-in-law is already in a facility called Rosewood Assisted Living. It is a very good facility in my opinion. It is also very clean. The staff is very knowledgeable. There had been a couple of hiccups, but they corrected them. I like best the activities they have for the seniors. They have bingo, shopping trips, dance nights, and sports nights. My aunt also says that the food is OK there. They could improve, though, on having more rooms.

My mother lived at Rosewood Assisted Living before when she was sick, and I wanted to see if I could get her back in there again. This is the one I'm really interested in. Everything was good as far as services and the facility. The accommodation and the staff were good. The food wasn't all that good though, and the room has just one bed. My mom received physical therapy and occupational therapy. She was there for 30 days.

I believe that the staff of Rosewood really cares about the clients. They do their best to ensure they are comfortable and have all of the things they need. They ensured that the residents were clean and comfortable. They are hard workers. The grounds are very pleasant. They are peaceful and appealing. The rooms are private, but easily accessible. I also like that they had many activities that the residents could do each day. There were helpers to help with the activities, such as crafts, or the dancing. I also liked that they had services for those that wished to attend on Sundays. One of the biggest stand out things was that they had a training program for CNAs, and they taught them how to be compassionate with the people. They really tried to engage the resident's minds and bodies, when able to. I was very satisfied with this facility, and would recommend it to others looking for a place for their loved ones.

My Great Grandmother was very well cared for at the facility. Her living space was very nice and I felt comfortable being there. It was a warm environment unlike the place she was living before that. Whenever she had an issue the maintenance staff and the providers were there within 5 minutes of her call. It made myself and my family feel good about her living there.

this facility has apartments for elderly and also a medical center. the cool part is that they make the patrons feel like they are home and help the ones that cant make it on thier own. early and late dinners and room service. they also have Alzheimer's assisted living residences. they work to preserve self-esteem, maximize independence, and enhance the personal satisfaction of all of our residents through innovative living areas, individualized assessment, and specialized care. retirement comunities and daily activities its not anything like the nursing homes you see on tv its better.

Rosewood is a retirement community on one side of the building and a nursing home/ assisted-living facility on the other side. My grandmother moved into the retirement side, but her health deteriorated and she is now on the assisted-living side. I have never had a bad experience with this place, whenever I go to visit her the staff is always friendly and busy. It is very easy to visit and nobody gives you any trouble. I always ask my grandma if she likes it here and if she is treated well, she always says she is and she loves it here. They host many activities for the senior citizens there; they serve great meals in the dining hall or delivered to the room, and always decorate the whole facility for whatever holiday is going on at the time. I have a great peace of mind knowing my grandma is being taken care of here.

My oldest siser lives at Rosewood in Killeen. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They have helped us with some very serious issues with my sister adjusting to living in an assisted lving community. I feel like this is a very good fit for my sister based on the care she is receiving from the staff.
