My 93 yr old Mother spent her last 7 months at Sedro Trail. We were so fortunate to find this place which was conveniently located to our home. The private room was spacious and allowed her to bring her own furniture so it felt like home. The staff was excellent and made her feel loved. I don't think we could have found a better place. One service that Sedro Trail provides is that if you are out of town and the resident needs to go to the Hospital, they will coordinate that for the family. I didn't think we would need this service, but as it happened we did while on a 2 week Alaska Cruise that had been planned and paid for prior to Mom moving into Sedro Trail. The owner actually went with Mom to the hospital emergency room and stayed till she was fully checked in. Then she visited her daily and gave us text updates on her condition. Because of this service, we did not have to cut our vacation short and return home immediately. It was outstanding service by Sedro Trail. I can only say positive things about the staff, food, and facility. I don't think there is a better place in the Georgetown/Round Rock area.

We visited Sedro Trail in Georgetown. The rooms were nice, but there was no bathroom for each individual room -- you would have to go down the hall to a bathroom. Three rooms are made to have a toilet and sinks, but only two had a shower -- a nice large walk-in shower -- and the toilet and sink area was very nice. We just don't like the fact that the bathroom was down the hall. I only really talked with the owner. I talked with someone else on the phone, as well -- I think she's the manager -- and she was very friendly and helpful. I was impressed with the owner; she was very friendly and helpful, too. There was a large living room when you came in, a dining room off to the side of that, a kitchen, and a breakfast room. Everything is done just in that one area. It was very clean and well lit; we were very impressed with that. They have a nice, fenced-in backyard where they can go and sit, or people can come in and visit. Before COVID they had barbecues there periodically so that all the family and guests were all able to get together and do something, which we thought was very nice.

Sedro Trail was good and more like a home turned into a senior living. The staff was nice. They didn't have a lot of activities but that was okay since we don't need a lot of activities. They had motion detectors in case the residents got out of the bed at night.

If you have a loved one who needs care, this is the single best facility you could ever hope for. My family had to place my mom on an emergency basis into a caring facility. The owners were simply amazing in helping us get her settled in a very loving and efficient manner. Every other facility we looked at had a ratio of care of resident to caregiver of 16-1 or more. That meant if my mom needed assistance just to go to the bathroom, she could easily have to wait an hour for help. At Sedro Trail, assistance is near immediate. If my mom needs help with anything, they are right there. Even more amazing is the respect and compassion she receives there. Every single employee there has a heart of platinum. I've witnessed my mom being lovingly calmed down by aides when she was in pain, and I've witnessed them laughing at her jokes and sharing in her joy. To top it off, we had to move my mom there just 2 weeks before her grandaughter's wedding. The owners not only got my mom to the wedding, they came dressed in cocktail attire themselves. They had her there with her hair, nails and make-up done and even held her up out of her wheelchair for a dance!!!! I am convinced that no better facility exists anywhere in the world. If you should find yourself in the terrible position of having to place a loved one in a care facility, you could simply make no better choice than Sedro Trail. I wouldn't have believed a place like this existed if I hadn't experienced it for myself. Sedro oozes of love, compassion, and respect with care that is incomparable anywhere else.

I love the facilities and professional, skilled, loving, nurturing staff at Sedro Trail Assisted Living. The residents are cared for with dignity and respect. There are always fun activities, a well as scheduled events such as parties and musicians to provide entertainment for the residents and their guests. My family member was in a different, larger facility, but did not receive the quality of care or the nurturing she receives here at Sedro. It's so nice to feel like I'm visiting her in her own home, surrounded by caring caregivers. We love to sit outside chatting, while enjoying the beautiful surroundings and nature. We are always made to feel welcome, and have come to view the staff and owners as extended family. It's a huge relief to know our family member is in such good hands, and that all of her needs are being met with the highest of standards. I highly recommend Sedro!!

After looking at many assisted living facilities in Georgetown, I knew there was only one that I would pick for myself when I needed help. I wanted my mother to have the things that would be important to me. I found that special place at Sedro Trail. On the day that I visited I saw lots of smiles and heard laughter. Some of the residents were eating their lunch outside in the spacious backyard. They could see the vegetable and flower gardens and were not surrounded by brick walls. The house was very clean and looked like a home. I was told that family members and friends are welcome to visit at any time. The atmosphere is very relaxed and residents can have breakfast when they want it. Special request are no problem. (my 97 year old mother likes a coke daily) One of their philosophies touched my heart - "Our residents don't lie in our workplace, we work in their home" I truly feel like I am spending time in my mothers home and the staff and owners are part of our family

My wife's grandmother has been a resident of Sedro for a year and a half. I feel compelled to tell of our experience here as it has been extraordinary. Our first interaction with the staff was by phone. It was late one evening and my wife had a bad feeling about her grandmother. She asked me to call and check on her. The woman whom I spoke to didn't treat the call like a nuisance or crazy. She talked me through how her grandmother was, what she was doing and that I could call anytime I needed. She was kind, compassionate and informative. We have visited her grandmother at the Sedro Trail home and have been impressed beyond description. The home is a sweet cottage in the hill country amongst cedar and mesquite trees with well landscaped yards. They have a beautiful gazebo and well fenced, very large yard. It is quite calming to sit under the gazebo in the cool breeze. As you walk in, it truly feels like you've walked into your grandma's house to visit. There is an immediate friendly greeting from staff and/or residents. Nothing about the cottage looks or feels medical/institutional. Lots of windows for sunlight, comfy couches, tv, dining room and sweetly appointed rooms. We often sit in recliners and rockers by my wife's grandmother's bedside. You can smell cookies baking, dinner cooking, etc and it's very comforting and inviting. One staff member was baking her grandmothers coffee cake recipe and talking to us of learning to bake and how much she loved her job here. The staff at Sedro Trails is truly extraordinary. I don't know their selection or training practices but whatever they are, they have gathered the best people in the state. The level of expertise, compassion, helpfulness and respect is unparalleled. We have spent hours at a time at the home and have seen many different interactions with residents. The staff is engaged, interactive, humorous and respectful to every resident and visitor. There are clear safety protocols that are adhered to and practiced throughout the cottage. We are calmed and comforted knowing my wife's grandmother is living at Sedro Trails.

Sedro Trail Assisted Living & Memory Care was fabulous and clean, and we really liked it, but it was just too small. The staff was friendly and very passionate about what they do. It was not a good fit for my mom-in-law because she loves walking, and the whole place was too small. I loved their yard's beautiful plants. The dining area was very nice. Their price was very reasonable, too.
Provider Response
Thank you Pauline for your kind review. We take great pride in our small home and the quality care we provide in a home setting. It's a peaceful, cottage-like environment that is very much like "Grandma's House". We are so pleased that you appreciate Sedro Trail's clean, friendly and passionate qualities. It's a place where each person receives the dignity and respect they deserve.

Immediately you notice the manicured yard. This is a house. A welcoming, pretty house. Inside it is bright, cheerful, yet cozy and inviting. You realize you have just entered a sweet smelling home, not a facility. But, that is not what really impresses you. It is that all the residents are well groomed, smiling and conversational. No demeaning baby talk spoken to them here. These lovely residents are treated respectfully yet incredibly warmly including gentle kidding and encouragement by a very professional staff. As part of the team that has led Bible study classes at Sedro Trail, I have been privileged to get to know most of the residents. We have good discussions. We laugh and we share. We sing hymns. We always say if someone walked in during one of our Bible studies they would not guess this is a memory care facility. The very first thing owner Jason Hall had us do starting with our first visit was to wash our hands! How smart. It spoke volumes to us about the careful, professional care given at Sedro Trail. Yvette Hall encouraged our Bible Study, and she is always incredibly responsive and truly loving with the residents. We have been blessed to be able to participate in the lives of such lovely residents in such a great place.

After our father had lived with us for two years. It was very hard to consider having to let someone else care for him. After checking out every facility within 30 miles of our home, we were so blessed to have found Sedro Trail for the last two months of his life. We spent much of our days with him at their home and everyone there felt like family. The staff and owners of Sedro Trail were so warm and loving to my father, as well as to all of us. Nurses even on their days off stopped by to wish him a happy birthday and to say goodbye to him and console us at the time of his passing! We would recommend this home to anyone that is looking for a loving home to care for their loved one.

I am so thankful for the owners and staff at Sedro Trail. They have given me the peace of mind that my mother is not only receiving outstanding care but is part of a loving "family" in a very comfortable home. I was quite concerned about moving her out of her home into a facility for Alzheimer's residents. However, she immediately felt as though this was her home and is quite happy there.

My mother has been living at Sedro Trail since Dec. After living in another residential facility for a couple of years and a large assisted living facility for 6 months., we have finally found the right place. She is happy, interacting with the other residents, and enjoying life once more after losing my step-dad three years ago. The staff at Sedro is amazing--professional, caring, and extremely loving.

Upon visiting this facility, we were wonderfully pleased by what we found. Nestled in a quiet, wooded area of Georgetown, the home is new, beautifully decorated and feels like a warm home on entry. It is intimate and beautifully maintained. The staff was cordial, cheerful and their care for the residents is obvious. The residents seem so happy and their needs/wants are truly understood. It is evident that this facility is truly a 'home' for their residents. If you are looking for a facility for a loved one in the Georgetown area, this home cannot be passed up.

The owners of Sedro Trail and the staff are loving and caring. They always have a smile and seem to love what they do. I'm there everyday to visit my husband. He is taken care of as if he is part of their family.
