I would describe Stoney Brook Of Copperas Cove as older and needing a facelift. The rooms were outdated. They had a hair salon, and somebody was getting their hair done in there. The person who assisted us during the tour was great though. They have a full menu. However, it was outdated. No paint. The flower arrangements and some of the furniture were outdated.

I went to look here. The staff who took us through the tour was very personable, very understanding, and very knowledgeable. They have good facilities. It was clean. They were friendly. It was a very positive experience. When I went there, I was a mess. But by the time I was done with the tour, I felt very comfortable. They do have a little outdoor garden-type area that people can go and sit in. It was right behind a Walmart, so it's close to if you needed something. It was close to the theater. They have a movie night, Bible studies, game night, and exercise things. If you had to be someplace, it seemed like it was a very good option.

My mother-in-law will be moving in. It was very welcoming and they had a lot of activities for the residents. It was a very nice, clean facility. The person giving the tour was welcoming and made us feel like it was a good place. We're in the memory care part and they have private apartments that were roomy for each resident. They could bring their own furniture and decorate to make them comfortable, so we liked that. There were different room sizes, but we looked at the smaller ones. They had music, therapy animals, games, a movie theater, and memory games. They showed us the menu and the alternatives. If our mom didn't like the menu that day, she still had plenty to choose from.

Everything here was very well done. The staff member did a fantastic job. She showed us two or three rooms and showed us one that was furnished, so we could get an idea of what it would look like, and that was an eye opener. There wasn't anything bad about the tour. The staff member was very knowledgeable, knew what she was talking about, and presented everything. Any questions we had, she answered. We didn't taste the food, but they had a little box of cookies for us when we left. They had a library, a beauty shop, a spa, a fitness center, a game room, and an outside court.

We were impressed with the cleanliness, openness, and friendliness. The units were large and well arranged. Our hostess was knowledgeable and pleasant. We have been placed on the waiting list.
