The Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas is a nonprofit organization that serves seniors and individuals with disabilities throughout Pinellas County. The Senior Center merged with Parks and Recreation to create CSA Palm Harbor, an entity that provides programming to residents of all ages, including seniors. Neighborly provides free rides to seniors aged 60 or older throughout Pinellas County. It offers door-to-door service and has wheelchair-accessible buses. All medical appointments must be within 10 miles of the client’s home, and rides must be scheduled at least two days in advance. It also offers grocery trips, dining, shopping and fun outings for groups of six or more. Drivers are trained in CPR and eldercare.
