My dad moved to The Grand Villa of Clearwater. It was a wonderful place. It smelled good and it was clean. The people were friendly. He has a studio room and it was an updated one. It has new flooring and the kitchen is adorable. The bathroom was fine, but the shower has a step-in. They have music. Residents are playing piano and guitar, and they have bingo. They have a beautiful courtyard. My dad likes the food. He has no complaints.

I thought Grand Villa of Clearwater was nice. It was a little bit more expensive, but I like the facility. I like the people that I met there. It seemed very clean. It seemed like they cared about the residents. There were no activities going on at the time because it was a weekend, but they had an activity center. And it looked like they had a place for physical therapy. The room that my dad would have had would have been a shared room. It was like two separate sleeping spaces, a shared bathroom, and a kitchen area. The salesperson I met was very helpful and gave me a lot of useful information as far as getting Dad Medicaid assistance. The residents seemed happy there, too.

I liked Grand Villa of Clearwater. The staff was nice. The area was nice. The rooms were a good size. We liked it a lot and it was probably a recommended place. It was a very nice, friendly atmosphere. All the residents were very nice that we interacted with.

My mother stayed at Grand Villa of Clearwater for a little while. The major thing that I really liked, and my sisters also agree, is that the in-house staff and most of the staff actually greeted most of the tenants by name. They basically knew the tenants and knew where they lived at and everything. They showed a lot of attention as far as having people around to assist. The thing that would be the worst would be for the level of care that you would need, the expense would go up. The staff was very nice, very outgoing, and very helpful. I ate the food, and a lot of times it was pretty good, but sometimes it was questionable. Everything was good. It was clean. You didn't see any dirt or any bad spots. It didn't smell of any particular smell, but a smell of a sanitizer. You always smell it when you come in.

I liked the Grand Villa of Clearwater, but it was too big. It seemed like a hotel. They have everything there because it's a very large place. They have a gym, they have craft rooms, they have a painting room, a theater room, and a barbershop. It was very nice. I just felt that it was a little big for what I was looking for. The staff was very friendly, very nice, and very helpful.

We chose Grand Villa of Clearwater for my dad, but he fell, so we're postponing everything until he gets better from that fall. We have a deposit down, and we'll take it from there to see how my dad's feeling. Just very welcoming. The staff was extremely professional, and Lori was fabulous. Very, very clean, organized, and just well-run. You can just really tell that they're constantly staying on top of the facility. They offered bingo, they offered customized exercise classes, and arts and crafts. They have a church service there on Sundays. When I was touring it, they were doing a Halloween event there at that time. So they're constantly doing things to keep the residents engaged and active. They had a nice menu, they had a set menu every day, and then the chef prepared something special for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. So that was nice, that if they didn't like what the chef prepared, then they could get sandwiches or burgers, soup, or salad, or something like that. I'm very pleased with the place.

We toured Grand Villa of Clearwater and I would say that is a 5-star facility. I loved walking into that place. It felt fresh and clean. The rooms that they provided for my mom that we saw were beautiful. They were a little bit smaller than the community we have chosen for her. For the price, they were little. It's not as big of a building as the other community, so you're not spread out. Her accessibility was better in that building as far as getting around. She could get to where she needed to be without assistance or help. But the showers were harder to get into. It didn't have the handicap accessibility that she needs right now. It's not that they don't have assistance, but I could just see her trying to do this on her own and I could just see her accidentally falling again. So, her safety was an issue for me. It was a little bit more expensive, but it was also more centrally located. Their physical therapy room was awesome. From what I saw from the staff, they were very pleasant to each other. They were very polite and attentive. They had arts and crafts. They also had a chapel. And they had a movie theater with popcorn. It was so much easier for mom to access. It would have been on the same floor for her to get to the activities.

My parents have been at Grand Villa Clearwater almost 4 years. The facility is beautiful and the care is great. I couldn't have wished my parents in a safer environment over the past few years. The staff is above and beyond keeping their residents safe. My dad recently passed, leaving my mom there in their apartment. Everyone has been extremely loving and caring, checking on my mom frequently and reporting back any issues if noted. I am local in that facility several times a week. I am always treated like family and acknowledged by the staff when on site. I know my mom is in the best of environment and care. I would highly recommend Grand Villa of Clearwater.

My mom is moving into Grand Villa of Clearwater. Just pulling into the parking lot, it was very nice and well kept outside. And when you go inside, it was very clean and it's just nice. The room is very nice, she'll have a 1-bedroom with a kitchen and a family room. They just are remodeling it right now, so it's completely brand new with a brand new refrigerator that they're installing. It was the maintenance supervisor that showed me around and he was very nice. He was very helpful, he showed us everything that would be included with her living there, like where they could get their haircut or they can get their nails done. My mom has a dog, so he showed me where she would be taking the dog out, showed me the game room, showed the movie room, pretty much everything. There's also a little store where they can buy food and stuff that they want. There's an area where they can get coffee during the day there and the laundry room.

Grand Villa has been caring for my sister for several years, through some very difficult times and some quiet times. The staff could not be more attentive, compassionate and concerned for her overall health. They make her feel like family. Her room is kept clean and tidy, she participates in regular activities, and her daily needs are taken care of. Since I don't live nearby, the staff makes a point to communicate with me regularly. Very important. We are so fortunate to be part of the Grand Villa community.

I like Grand Villa of Clearwater. It was smaller, so there was more attention. The biggest thing is that you could live independently and then if you need assistance, you could hire for the assistance for as long as you need it. Like if you had surgery and you came home, you didn't have to change apartments. Unlike the other facility in Pasadena, they have an assisted living building and then an independent living building, but if you live in independent living and you need assistance, they make you move to another apartment. So that's the main thing there at Grand Villa, and it all has been remodeled. It was a nice facility. The person that showed us around was very knowledgeable and very interested in what we were looking for. However, we went there one week and a week later, they transferred her to somewhere else. I found out there's a high turnover in a certain position there. Nevertheless, they did a good job, they answered the questions, and they were very knowledgeable about what I was looking for. They answered everything and they were very patient because my father had to use a walker, so he was a little slow. Inside the room, there's a stove. They didn't have a washer and a dryer, but they had laundry service and a linen service that was all available. There was a laundromat in the facility, but not in the room itself.

Grand Villa of Clearwater has everything that my aunt needs. So far, they have great customer service and they have checked all the boxes. They have activities for them, courtyards, salons, and places to hang out. It's nice. It has just been remodeled so it's very new.

My friend moved into the Grand Villa of Clearwater's assisted living in January. I did a tour of the place before that and it was very good. They explained everything and the lady there was very nice. I believe her name was Amanda and she answered all of our questions. She showed us several different options and it was good. My friend is doing pretty well there. They have good amenities. They also have physical therapy for people there, a nice dining room, and the facility is always clean. They explained all the activities there but when my friend went in, we were still in the COVID thing, so activities were limited. They play bingo and they have arts and crafts though. She's in their assisted living. I've never eaten their food but my friend seems to like it so it's been very good. I do think it was expensive, but I understand that everything is expensive now. It would be nice if it wasn't quite so much money though so somebody could afford to live there a little bit longer. I think they also need to improve on communication.

Grand Villa of Clearwater was very good. My father likes to smoke, but they don't have any screened-in area for smoking over there, so that's a problem for him. But other than that, the place is nice. The people were nice. Everything was great.

My mom will be moving into Grand Villa of Clearwater. Everybody was very nice, very accommodating, and very knowledgeable. The facility was very well cleaned and very well kept. The outside grounds are very well kept. Everything was very nice. They have common areas. They have a game room and workout room. They have rehab premises where they help the residents and give them exercises. They have all kinds of programs. They have a movie theater, doctor's offices, and a hair salon inside. They have a little gift shop. If they want snacks, they can go to. They take their residents out for shopping. They have a bus that goes out shopping if they want to. They have a lot of amenities. The staff was very friendly. Even the people who clean the rooms are very friendly too.

I looked at Grand Villa of Clearwater. It's all in one, so there is assisted living and independent living, and they don't move their residents there. It was lovely. The woman that took me on the tour was accommodating. The place was clean. They were in in lockdown for COVID protocols. However, the apartment was roomy and lovely. She explained everything fully and was welcoming.

I'm living in Grand Villa of Clearwater at the moment. It's very good. The room is comfortable. The staff is very caring. Activities are limited. COVID has affected a lot of activities as far as group activities go. They're just getting back started. There are not that many that interest me. I'm younger than most people here. Amenities are good. There is a salon, a chapel, and a small store. They have live music every once in a while. You have to pay for meals. There is a monthly cost for meals and housekeeping. Housekeeping has been very good, and part of that includes a laundry service. Food is average.

We went to tour the Grand Villa of Clearwater. It was just acceptable. It was nice. There was very little that we didn't like. They were refurbishing the apartment that we would have there, and they were willing to let us pick out the carpet, the flooring, and the color of the walls, so it would be just like brand new when we move in. I was pretty impressed with that kind of attitude. I like it better than some of the ones that we looked at. The little kitchenettes, I didn't like them well. They were not set up as nicely as some of them. The staff was wonderful. They were just very welcoming. We saw the dining room, but we did not eat any meals.

I was terrified to move my mom into a memory care facility. Grand Villa was the first and last place I toured. The rooms have been remodeled and offer safety elements. The facility is clean and residents were being urged to engage in activities. On her move in day, they rolled out the red carpet. It allowed my mom to feel comfortable and welcomed. She’s lived there for about a month now and all is well. The memory care management team is excellent. They have been sensitive, communicative, and reassuring. At this time, I feel that my mom is being well taken care of in a safe and friendly environment.

I am so thankful that we moved Mom into Grand Villa of Clearwater Memory Care. The staff truly care for the residents. It gives me peace of mind knowing Mom is being well-cared for by people who understand the nature of dementia and the special needs of residents with dementia. Since Mom has been at Grand Villa she seems much happier and content and that tells me a lot.

Grand Villa of Clearwater is the one I found that I like. It is nice and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The units are large. I checked out the menu, and it looked good. The staff and I talked about both independent and assisted living.

My husband moved into the Grand Villa of Clearwater. He's in a lovely studio apartment, he has his bed, a sitting room for TV, a kitchen, and a bathroom. It's very nice, it's about $4,200 a month. Everything seems to be fine, and the staff is very nice. I haven't seen the food actually, but my husband tells me, and it seems to me it's pretty good, but he doesn't want to live there, so he doesn't think it's good. They have activities, but with the COVID right now, none of it is happening.

I moved to Grand Villa of Clearwater because my girlfriend is here, and the people are very nice. The staff is very nice. The food is good, too. They have activities, but right now I am in quarantine for 14 days. The place is very beautiful. My sister-in-law and my brother came to help me unpack and to bring me here. My sister-in-law walked outside the perimeter, and she said it was beautiful. They have a pool, too.

My aunt moved into Grand Villa of Clearwater. They were actually having a deal, and it was very nice, clean, remodelled, and offered lots of things. Everybody has been very friendly, very nice, and very helpful. I tried the food, it was OK. My aunt says sometimes they're good, sometimes not so good. They have a doctor on site, they have a little store, they have a beauty salon, and they have activities for them, but it's very limited right now. Normally they do outings with them, they take them out on like field trips, they have bingo night, they have things set up like a movie theater, they have a gameroom, and I know they do things like charades and other activities throughout the week.

As a one year resident of this facility, my wife and I offer our congratulations on turning what was a adequate facility into a place that we are glad to call our home. Phase one of your plan has been completed and no question about it you have turned this into a place of beauty and functionality. You have provided more areas that were under utilized and turned them into areas that should provide the residents with more areas to socialize and enjoy the new amenities you have provided. Can't wait to see what the other phases of your plan will provide us with.

We did not like Grand Villa of Clearwater, but in fairness to them, they're at the start of major renovations. I would hate to be a resident there while they go through this renovation process, though. We didn't like the rooms as they were old and dated, but again, in fairness, they're renovating. The carpeting was worn. We made an appointment and when we got there, the person we were supposed to meet wasn't there. The gentleman who showed us around was not involved with renting or sales but was kind enough to give us the tour. Right off the bad, we didnt get the information we needed, but he was a very nice man. The staff we met was very nice. The restaurant area was not at all attractive and it almost reminded me of a high school cafeteria. The activity room had the long cafeteria tables and chairs in it, and it was empty. It might be great after the renovation right now, but right now it isnt very great.

They're very nice here. The food is delicious. There are a fair amount of activities if you're much older. Transportation is very limited, with none on the weekends. There's no chapel, no pool, and no porches attached to the rooms. It's very basic. The building is quite old.

I visited for my husband. It was very accommodating. The room was very clean. It was big enough for one person. If my husband can’t get a single room, he can get a double room to share with someone else. They had different room sizes. The environment looked very happy to me. Everybody was friendly and welcoming. The staff reached out to me even though they didn’t know me and I did not have anybody there. It was very pleasant.

The food is excellent and so good since I came here. I gained 6 pounds. It’s got good activities, like bingo, just about every day. It’s a really good place. The staff has been very good too. They clean my room once a week. They get my laundry and bring it back on hangers, and I have never lost any.

My husband was here. They interviewed me, and I told them he is a total care and he is a two-man lift, and they assured me that they could take care of him. When I first walked in, they were very friendly, and the facility was clean. They made you feel at ease. However, they should have never taken my husband, because he was too severe. That's what most places told me, but this one assured me they could take care of him. I regret putting him there more than anything in the world. He was there two weeks and he got sick. He was in the hospital for a week and then he went to hospice. He lasted for one week after that. My husband was in a private room, and it was sufficient. He had his own bathroom. The people up on the memory care were very nice, but the day he got sick, I could not get the nurse downstairs at all to come and take his temperature. I called in hospice, and they took him to the hospital right away. They played music; they did games; and they had the TV going. They entertained them, but my husband was the worst one there. The dining room was very clean. I don't have any negative comments about the building and about the staff. For assisted living, this facility was OK, but not for the memory-care unit.

My mom is here. The facility is very good. Everybody is very nice, kind, and very helpful. They make the transition very easy. The apartment is very nice. It is a little bit larger than some of the others that I visit. It is bright, and it is really pretty. My mom says the food is good, and it is a big priority to her. The dining room is very nicely set up. All has been satisfactory, and I just like everything about it.

I moved my brother here in the memory clinic. He was only there for four weeks. The facility is excellent, and the caregivers are excellent. The admission classes are very simple. The facility itself is clean and nice. The only thing that I would say -- and it is not them it is me -- I selected the facility because he could have his own apartment. He wasn't in a room with another guy, and that probably was a mistake. I think he would have probably done better had I put him in a facility that is smaller. It is a good facility but maybe not the best one for him. I would take the blame for that myself. The care that they were giving him was excellent, but he probably needed a little bit more supervision. The problem was because they have 35 other patients -- and he wasn't really asking for anything -- they did not notice that he was becoming more ill. He wasn't eating, and he got pneumonia. But I can't blame them because he didn’t complain. I'm sure it just went unnoticed, but I think they did a good job.

The people were very nice, and the place was extremely clean. I had lunch there, and the food was very good. The residents seemed friendly, and they seemed quite happy. They were playing Bingo, and I love Bingo. They had an ice cream party too and baked cookies. They had the room set up like an old-fashioned ice cream parlor.

The only problem I had with it was the space because I couldn’t even get my bed in the room. I only have a queen size bed and it would not fit in the designated bedroom area. I have a disability, so I don't see how elderly people with walkers and other types of aides can get around. There was not enough closet space for maybe five outfits either. I live in a house that I have to sell. Then I have to downsize everything, so it's going to be a while. We really had a nice visit. It was very clean and orderly. It's still like an institution -- I mean everything is coordinated and everybody's grouped together. They have a lot of windows downstairs, so everything is open and you can see the sun shining. The place is bright. They have a conference room, a library, and a computer area. They have a little bit of everything going on: Bingo, card games, group games, group singing and quite a few field trips during the week.

It was not for me, I think it would be good for my husband. The people I saw walked like zombies. The rooms were small even if there's a bedroom. Nonetheless, the place, as well as the people, was very nice. It was clean, too.

They give you quite a lot of selections for the food. They offer for dinner breaded baked fish, turkey, fettuccini, braised beef. Lunch, they have light sandwiches, and this is just for this particular day. It is very nice. They have movie time and ice cream socials. The people were all very nice.

I was impressed. It is close to me. That one was going to be my friend's second choice. We did see a studio apartment. There was a bathroom and a mini-kitchen. The dining area was very nice and very upscale. The staff was very friendly and warm to the residents. The residents were very friendly as well.

I discovered that everybody who works here seems to know your name. I really think that's important. It makes you feel more welcome. It's a wonderful place. The staff is great. I have a little apartment here with a bedroom, a living room, a den and a small kitchen. It has all the amenities that a kitchen needs. I have everything I need here.
