I have moved my husband to Elison Senior Living Community of Pinecrest. It was well-maintained, it's very cheerful, it's just small with a second floor. It's like a little square so people feel like they have space, but they don't wander out. I just like the feeling of the place, and the activities I thought were good. The layout is nice, it's very cheerful, and the food is fine. In terms of value for the money, I think everything is overpriced.

I toured Elison Senior Living Community of Pinecrest. The meal was very satisfactory. I was impressed with the rooms. It was all good. The staff who gave the tour was very knowledgeable. She answered all my questions, and she also answered questions I hadn't thought of, so that was good, too. They had a social birthday dinner, so they had those once a month. They had lots of activities like dominoes.

I visited the independent living of Elison Senior Living Community of Pinecrest for my friend. They have wonderful amenities and beautiful apartments with different floor plans. It has a full kitchen with a refrigerator, dishwasher, lots of cabinetry, and a garbage disposal. The bathrooms were made for people who may not be able to step over a tub. They all had nice showers with low entry, with all kinds of grab bars and seats in them, in case you needed them. They had all these handicapped-size toilets with grab bars in them too. They have all of the activities you could want. I think there's a fee that you had to pay upfront, which was about $2,500 and then you had the monthly rent. They would also accept my friend's dog. It's a little poodle that she could bring with her. They also have a beautiful courtyard with benches and outdoor walking areas. They're a very nice place.

I am staying at Elison Senior Living Community of Pinecrest. I can't wait to get out of here and go north. The rooms are okay. The food stinks. The staff members seem to be helpful. They have a little place in the back where you can walk. They have a pool and a hot tub. The activities are not geared for a guy my age, and it's more for someone who's in the 90s.

We prefer to move into Elison Senior Living Community of Pinecrest. We toured over there twice now. The place was beautiful. The amenities compared to what we're doing right now were mind-blowing. Everything about it was lovely. I didn't find any negatives, and everybody that we spoke to was just happy to be there. We saw a 2-bedroom apartment, and it was a full kitchen. It had a screened-in balcony. It even had separate storage areas. It was a beautiful apartment. It actually would fit our king-sized bed, which a lot of the places that we looked at prior to that would not have much of our furniture at all. The staff who assisted us was wonderful and very, very knowledgeable. As far as I know, she's the head of the marketing department. She had been there a long time, knew exactly what was happening, and was able to answer every question that we had. We had lunch there twice. The dining room was beautiful. It was actually kind of set up restaurant-type style with a buffet area. But they also had things that if you don't want what's there, you could order off of the menu. We were there this past weekend and they had just set up for Christmas. It was beautiful. Absolutely gorgeous. There were trees everywhere. It was very nice. She also said that at the beginning of the year, they were going to be renovating the lobbies and the hallways.

I have chosen Elison Senior Living Community of Pinecrest for myself. I liked the activities and the friendliness of everyone there. The apartments looked good. They were doing a little remodeling in some places, but they were OK. Jennifer assisted me and she was excellent. The food was very good and the dining area looked very good. The maintenance of the facility seemed to be very good.

Gorgeous facility for independent and assisted living. The memory care floor was very small and had too many little coves of activities that memory care residents might like. Because the facility is a high rise, there is no provision to go outside in a fenced in yard with trees and shade. It only has an outside patio surrounded by brick walls. No shade except an umbrella table. The walls are decorated inside and out with cheerful murals and a little inside porch with rockers as you get off the elevator. It would not be the place for a 67 year old man with a rare Alzheimer’s disease that affects his cognitive eye sight and extreme orientation deficits.

Elison Senior Living Community of Pinecrest was very nice. That was the first one we did. The lady that gave us the tour, everyone knew her. All the staff have been there for a long time. They have different size floor plans. One bathroom has a step-in shower, and if it's a two-bathroom unit, then the other one has a tub. They have weekly housekeeping. They come in and clean your apartment once a week. The staff took her time to answer the questions. And in fact, I'm going to see her again in March. I'm going to make an appointment to see her again because I have more questions. They had a nice little luncheon for the folks that were touring the facility and it was very nice. The grounds are clean, inside the building where you come in the entryway, and in their main area where people can sit, read or chat, were just very nicely set up and very clean.

I will be moving into Elison Senior Living Community of Pinecrest. They offer a hot breakfast, unfortunately, it's only served from 7 am to 9 am, but a breakfast anyway. Then whatever you want to call it, from 12 PM until 4 PM or 5 PM, they have lunch or dinner. There's a choice of two or three soups, a couple of salads, and two or three entrees. They do the sheets and the towels. eats in the towers. We're responsible for our own laundry, but they have free washers and dryers. There's a small but sufficient storage room where we can put superfluous things. The atmosphere was very pleasant the day we came there. They did have 40 Christmas trees in the lobby or the main recreation area. It's well-maintained. The staff seems to be in very good disposition all the time. It's hard to believe that we're going to be one of those old folks living there, but we're making decisions while we still can. It was a toss-up between them and another facility. They just offered us a better introductory offer of freezing the cost for two years, giving us one month of free rent. We had to make a decision very quickly to take advantage of that, but we did. I don't think we're going to have any regrets except leaving more stuff behind than we're taking, but that's the way it goes. We're going to independent living, but you can't stay in the same apartment if you transition to assisted care. But hopefully, we'll be okay for a few years. After that, they also have a level of memory care, so we can stay in the same facility and make those lateral moves once we get in. That's another thing we liked about this place. It has an adequate galley-type kitchen, which would have passed through into the main room so that if you had a table in front of the window there, you could move food from there into the eating area. The bathroom was well maintained, they rehabbed the bathroom and put a fresh coat of paint on it. That's another thing, the service they have is they'll also clean the bathroom and the kitchen area. We're responsible for vacuuming the floors. It has a regular-sized refrigerator, not gigantic but more than the dormer, and also with an icemaker which was an added perk. The stove is a little four-burner stove, and a nice microwave suspended above it. It's an adequate kitchen for sure. It also has a dishwasher, which I probably won't use, but at any rate, it's there. The washer and dryer are in a laundry room, separate of course from the apartment. It's all on one floor, everything is on the same level. You don't have to go up and down the steps. It's very convenient. The tour was very well done. The lady who took us through was relatively new and she was doubly careful. But it was a good presentation, and everybody that we met on staff was upbeat, positive, and with a good disposition. The staff, she did really well, her name's Jo. We ate there on two separate days, and the food is like being in a restaurant. You come in, and you sit down at a table with a full-place setting. They bring you a menu, and you choose from the menu. They bring you the soup and the salad first, and then the entrees. There's always a dessert. What's cool is, if you can't eat it all, you can take whatever is leftover up to your apartment. The facility was immaculate. They also have a heated swimming pool, exercise classes, and a crafts facility. The only thing that's hard to get used to is, so many people on walkers, and we haven't gotten there yet. But we'll be in good company while we do. Anyway, no complaints.

Elison Senior Living Community of Pinecrest would have been my next choice. The staff members were all very friendly and efficient. The rooms were spacious enough for a unit. The residents were playing cards and putting puzzles together. It was a fairly active community. They had a very good library and very nice grounds. They also had a balcony or patio, which was one of my must-haves.

We've visited Elison Senior Living Community of Pinecrest, it's nice. It was a very clean place, I like the cafeteria area, and it seemed like a nice place. I liked the rooms, they were kept together pretty well, and clean and nice looking. It was a good experience. The staff who helped me out during the tour was great. She's very informative, she provided me with all the information that was needed, and kept me abreast of all the openings in the facility, and which ones are coming up. The menu looked great and it was very diverse. I wasn't really hungry, but she showed me the menu and all the different items on the menu to choose from. I saw somebody playing with a puzzle and a group of people playing bingo.

Ellison Senior Living Community of Pinecrest was nice. I liked it. That's probably where I'll be looking to go back when it's time to go. They have balconies. They have guards on the first floor all the time. The dining room was nice, and it's a big place. They have food any time you want pretty much. They got all the stuff you need to live. The staff during the tour was great, gave me a lot of information, answered all my questions, was very polite, and nice. She had a nice personality. The rooms were very roomy, and the prices are competitive. I liked this better because they had more selection to pick from than a lot of places. I got a brownie from them and it was very good. The menu looked good and they change it every day. The staff wants me to come back and tour it again, and I'm going to eat then. They have a list of things they do. They take you out on a bus, take you shopping, and take you out for dinners and excursions.

We went to Elison Senior Living Community of Pinecrest. The independent living was very nice and upscale. The dining room was beautiful. When I went over to assisted living, it gave me the impression of being like the stepchild that gets the hand-me-downs from independent living. I wasn't too impressed with their assisted living. The apartments were nice, but I happened to like the ones better at the other place. They have levels and when you go to the levels then they have an ala carte menu as to what you would pay extra for, and it just got a little too expensive. I thought the prices on that list were a little steep. The staff were friendly as we walked through. Everyone said hello, and that was about it. I didn't have much interaction with the staff other than the person that took us on the tour. The building was clean. The hallways in the assisted living were dark. The dining room in assisted living just reminds me of a diner. The tables weren't as nice as the ones downstairs in the independent living. As you walk in, everything is big and beautiful, and it was a class act when you walk in. But when you go over to the assisted living side of the building, that class act went away. They had a walking area with a large garden that you can go out into, and it was pretty. The rooms looked old. The facility looked old in assisted living. You had to bring in your own furniture. You would have to get a mover to bring your furniture in. I wasn't happy with it.

Of the places my brother-in-law visited, Elison Senior Living Community of Pinecrest was the one he's seriously considering. My sister and I were impressed. We thought it was great, and my brother-in-law liked it. It's very nice. The people there were very friendly. My brother-in-law went with his friends yesterday, and they were there for almost four hours. They talked with residents, had lunch, had a tour, and saw what rooms were available now. Whatever questions my brother-in-law and his friends had, the staff took all the time to answer them in detail. His friends were really impressed with the place as well. They had the menu for every day of the week, and it's different soups and different salads. They have different specials every day to keep it interesting. The sample rooms that we saw were very nice; not too small, not too fancy. They seemed very well maintained. They've been in business for over 30 years, but everything still seems very current and in excellent condition. It's very fresh. It feels a little bit like a really nice hotel, and there's nothing wrong with that. It's very clean and very well tended. The rooms were attractive. They have a long list of activities every day. There's always something going on, and they do the transportation thing. It's a pleasant building, and the people who work there seemed very friendly and dedicated to their job. They like their job. They have a whole wall of people who have worked there multiple years. It's another good sign. It's very clean, very well maintained, and very youthful. The first day we went, the main person wasn't available. Somebody else gave the tour, but she explained that everybody pitches in and does everything there. She gave us a tour, and we met other people in the elevator who work there. Everybody really seemed friendly and greeted all the other residents by name.

I visited Elison Senior Living Community of Pinecrest. I liked that it seemed secure and friendly, but it's too large for me. The person who gave me the tour was very friendly. They gave me a meal, and it was very good. The rooms have a stove, microwave, and refrigerator. They had a pool. They had a courtyard. There's a walking trail right nearby, and they have a lot of activities. They do bingo, singing, theater, and religious services.

I went and I thought it was very well maintained. It had plenty of activities for residents to enjoy. It had great accommodations for those who want to participate in games. There were very good dining areas, a nice view of the golf course from the room, and a great location. The staff has been there for a while. She was very knowledgeable, very professional, and answered all my questions. I noticed people gathering, eating, and some people playing games in one room. The apartment was cozy, and had all the amenities and furnishings that a resident would need. It was orderly and very similar to the other place I went to. I have no complaints whatsoever.

My parents have been in here a week as of today, and it's wonderful. The living atmosphere is fantastic and the food is fabulous. In fact, yesterday I was up there with my parents during their lunch. They had spaghetti, bread sticks, salad, and carrots. I was able to eat it and it was so good. The staff is wonderful and they have become part of our family. We've gotten to know them personally and professionally. They call us if they need us, and I have gotten to be really good friends with the head nurse. They understand some of the things that are going on with my parents, and they're very patient and accommodating, so I could not ask for anything better. My parents don't do the activities, but I have been in and watched some of these activities from the door. The interaction with the residents is beautiful. I've watched their game day, puzzle making, and painting. Every time I go by the room for those activities, it is filled, so people must like it. On Saturday they had this jewelry show, and all the little ladies came down with their money and were buying jewelry to make them feel pretty. A week before that, I was there and they had a band. The place was packed with people listening to this band and the music. The activities are wonderful.

My Mother had owned her own home in Fl. for over 40 yrs. She was becoming very lonely because her neighbors & neighborhood had changed. She made the decision to move to Pinecrest & wished she had done it 10 yrs earlier. She had a beautiful apartment that had a full kitchen & also overlooked the golf course, she had a western exposure & could see the most beautiful sunsets. The staff was AMAZAZING from the people in the office (all of them wonderful), the people that organized her car services, the maintenance people, Security & the cleaning ladies. All of these people made her life easier, and they became like family to her. She was kept so busy doing fun activities & going out to dinner etc... She made so so many wonderful friends. Everyday was a fun new day to enjoy! Unfortunately, she passed suddenly last November, that is why I am telling you not to wait, make your decision to MOVE to Pinecrest NOW! And thank you to all at Pinecrest who made my mom's last years such a wonderful time.

I'm living in here now but I'm moving out because my wife didn't qualify. Everything about the place is very nice. My 2-bedroom is very big, and it's all very big here. The dining area is very nice but the food is average. They could take up every moment of your time if you wanted because they have many activities. The atmosphere is very good, it's a very nice place, very homey and clean. Everything is nice and quiet here.

We went here, it was more upscale, and lots of people were there. Everyone was pleasant. They have all kinds of craft, classes you could go to, and it was very pleasant. They have many excursion trips, off to different restaurants, and trips to different places around. The rooms were adequate, and the staff was wonderful. The food was very good.

It was a very nice community. We visited during Christmas season, so it was beautifully decorated. There were a lot of Christmas-related activities for the residents. It's probably one of the best places that we went to. The tour guide was super, very helpful, and kept in very close contact with us. She seemed to be truly interested in finding an arrangement that would work for my mom and dad even if that didn't mean at their community. She was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. Their food was excellent. They had several dining areas. They're beautiful, clean, and provide a wide variety of food.

My daughter's grandmother and I were invited to evacuate there during Hurricane Irma. I am so impressed with this facility. Hall monitors on every floor 24 hours to assist in any way they could and to provide comfort to those with anxiety about the hurricane. Absolutely beautiful facility meeting every possible need of its residents. Employees were kind and efficient. When the power went out hot coffee was available and delicious pastries cold foods. A big thank you and may God Bless you for hosting us during this stressful time.

My mother is here. I can’t sing their praises highly enough. They’re fabulous. I knew about this place because I have friends with parents who were there. The staff is amazing. They are so helpful, friendly, and concerned. Every patient is important to them from the office staff and the nurses to the physical therapy and the activities people. Even when they’re not absolutely dealing with the residents, the staff stops in and sees them to talk to them in their rooms. It is just amazing. The food is excellent. It is like a three-star restaurant in the main dining room. Each assisted living floor has its own kitchen and restaurant as well. The activities are excellent. There are movies every night and fantastic parties. I had the best time ever of my life at their New Year’s party.

The activities impressed me. There is a swimming pool; there’s bingo. There are all kinds of visiting musicians and choirs. They have very liberal transportation service and very elegant dining and I got to say moderate pricing. The staff is long term, high quality, and friendly. The food is excellent with a large variety of choice at every meal and it’s very well done.

It was a high-rise apartment building. It was very clean with a good view all the way around. They had nice people. It was very homey inside. The homes themselves were almost in the same size. If you wanted two bedrooms, they were about 30 square feet.

I visited and it was all decorated for Christmas. Everybody was nice. We looked at several rooms, and they were set-up to be sold. They had a good restaurant and had good service. It was a very positive experience. I liked that it was immaculately clean, and they had 12 different people decorating 12 different trees.

It was actually our number one choice, but it was too far away. We liked the view, and the fact that they take you any place in Pinellas County, that they had entertainment, and happy hour every week. The dining room was spectacular. The apartments had been remodeled. To me and to my parents, it was the best place that we visited. The food was good. The activities were absolutely fabulous. I would live there if I could. If I could move down to Clearwater, I would have my parents move there in a heartbeat.

I'm at here and we definitely know that we made the correct decisions because of two reasons. Number one: We're not pressured to do anything that we don't want to do and you don't feel like you're in a caregiver place. Number two: There is excellent transportation available. It's a very good place. I would recommend it to anybody. There are all sorts of activities; they change by the month and there's a pool. Cleanliness is excellent. It's not what I would call a huge facility. It's probably of moderate size compared to the size of the other ones in the area. I think the whole facility is between twenty and thirty years old.

It was great and we met with Debra who was our contact there. She was real close to my dad in age and she was very nice and diligent in following up with everything. We had lunch and the food was delicious. The rooms were very spacious with huge closets. It had a living room, bedroom, a full bathroom and kitchen. It had a beautiful view and the building had no smell. You could tell the residents were very well kept, they seemed very happy and they were interacting with others.

I had a very positive visit. My sister made a trip there with my mother that I had arranged and I followed it up with a visit separately when I was down there. My sister's visit was a little more involved because she was with my mother and they had lunch there. They experienced the dining room and all that. They really liked that. They had special parking with our names when we showed up. It was just a very informative, friendly and inclusive visit. But I wasn't crazy about their bathroom. I didn't think they were truly handicapped accessible that they should have been. She actually had a safer bathroom in her own home. You had to climb over a little curve to get in and out of the shower and there wasn't a grip where it needed to be when you get in and out. Then when I complained about it, they had showed me other apartment wherein they had upgraded a little more and they had add up the appropriate grip and cut out the curve. So, you still had entry that was lower. But there wasn't a seat in there. It was like you gained and lost. That was the biggest downfall. It was the most challenging for an elderly living alone. The place was also rather big and a lot to navigate for an elder lady. But everything else was a homerun. The apartment was spacious, clean and nicely done. The dining room was great.

We had three meals here. The food was good. The place was very pleasant as well as the people that live there. The apartments are nice and the atmosphere is very good. They have an outdoor pool.

Absolutely fabulous facility! They were terrific. Absolutely terrific. They showed us around and they were informative. I thought they did everything right. I like the place, it was very good. We get to sample their food and it was great. I was very impressed with everything. I thought they were excellent!
