We have moved into Las Palomas. We like it a lot. It is good. It is an all-inclusive place and that's one of the things that attracted us. The place is lovely. The people are lovely. We are very happy here. The cleanliness is excellent. The staff members are great. They're helpful and kind. They have activities. They have table games, arts and crafts, there's a happy hour, they go on outings, and they have scheduled transportation. They have everything we need. The food is mostly very good, but occasionally not so much. The dining area is like a restaurant, which we like.

I don’t know how other places are but this place is lacking in every area. A large amount of people end up Moving out every year. Usually when you move into an assisted living it will be your forever home. It’s disgusting how this place makes you promises and doesn’t keep them. My parents currently live there and trying to find a place they can move to. First- they are constantly short staffed. Since my parents moved they they talk to others that love there and said they hate the place too. When you lay $500-$700 extra a month for them to be in charge of meds, they are an hour or 2 late. It’s been like this since October ‘23 and it’s now August. ‘24. So if your family is in pain, they don’t care to give your meds on time. I don’t know about you but my doctor always says not to take meds late 2nd - There are no dietetic options or any other food options for those that are sick and have diet restrictions. The portions are also terrible for the price they charge. They also like to nickel and dime you for every little thing. So if you want to take your food back to your room, like if you are sick, they charge you an extra $2.50 for the styrofoam box. If you are sick and aren’t able to get your food certain times or sick enough not to eat, their policy is to still charge you for your food, til day 3. Then they might stop charging for a bit til you are well. I can say that 90% of the staff are nice but they are overworked. And staff has been too low for a while. This place over charges for what they don’t do. Is there a place that exists with nutritious meals and have a full staff? There are way more complaints about this place.

The place I chose for my parents is Las Palomas Senior Living. It's close to my brother's house. It was new and clean. My dad would have a studio and my mom would have a one-bedroom, and they're next to each other. I saw the whole complex. They had a library, a movie thing, and a physical therapy thing. I had lunch there yesterday, and it was very good. The staff who toured me was great. We could talk about cats. My mom has cats, so she told me about her cat.

I really liked how Las Palomas Senior Living looked. It's clean. It had really good aesthetics. They had a wall that had a fish tank in it. There was a lot of stuff that would really catch your attention. I had to wait for the person who gave me my tour, and so I was able to not just sit there and look kind of bored. There was stuff to keep people engaged and interested and just to be able to look around. The staff member was friendly. She knew what she was talking about. She answered all my questions. She was able to show me the whole facility. She was really friendly. I didn't sample the food. I was able to look at their menu for the week and I liked that they have a standard menu that they can choose from, and then they have two daily specials, which was really good.

I loved the apartment at Las Palomas Senior Living. It's everything that I could hope for in an apartment. They were exceptionally nice for the money. I had a meal there and it was OK. They had an exercise room, a game room, and a craft room. They had just about everything that everybody else does. The staff was very nice and very helpful. The building was in excellent condition.

Beautiful place and nice people but they do not pay the chef or staff in kitchen well so they have a high turnover. The food is terrible and hard to chew for elderly people

Las Palomas Senior Living was new and updated. The staff was very friendly. It was light, airy, and open. The staff took us on a tour. I was very pleased with the outdoor and indoor areas. As we were leaving one of the apartments that she showed us, a new resident walked through and it was her first day and she said, "I had a meal here just now and it was fabulous, over the top!" It was a good recommendation from a new resident. I was very pleased with the whole thing. It was reasonably priced. It's a good location. The person we're working with was over the top, helpful and nice. The room we saw was a one-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen and a stackable washer and dryer that was included. It was a two-story facility, so each apartment either had its own private patio or its own private balcony, so it was very nice. They have a rooftop dining area. You have drinks or dinner, whatever. The dining room was extremely updated. The menus looked like you're on a cruise ship. They were so well done and so nicely presented. The meals sounded fabulous. Everything was like you're on a cruise ship. It was over the top. They provide breakfast with the option for you to purchase one extra meal that could be lunch or dinner you're choosing each day. You've got a full kitchen and a full-size refrigerator in your apartment. It's very well maintained and it's brand new.

Las Palomas Senior Living was absolutely beautiful, but I feel it's just too far outside of our price range. They have a beauty salon, chapel services, and lots of activities. It's a brand new building and it's very nicely decorated. The rooms were spacious and very pretty. One of the things I saw there that I didn't see from any of the other facilities was a washer and dryer in each room. Even though they offer laundry service, they still give you a washing machine and a dryer if you choose to do your own laundry too. They had a swimming pool and there's memory care available at that site, so we wouldn't have to move my mother-in-law in the future if that's something that we needed. They were wonderful to me and very hospitable. Everyone that I met was welcoming. One of the things that I liked was they had benches through their hallways so that they could rest if they needed to when they were walking to wherever. I thought that was nice.

My husband is going to move to Las Palomas which seems to be a very well-planned out senior community. It's great. I saw the dining area, but he's in memory care so the meals are delivered to him. It's relatively new, there's a lot of security which is necessary, and they are very involved caregivers.

Las Palomas Senior Living is a fairly new community so it's really nice. The people that we talked to were also really nice. The rooms were better arranged than the rooms in the other community that I saw. The staff was very nice, polite and helpful. They had an activity where there's a couple dancing while we were there. People were eating when we arrived there, so we took a quick glance at the meals and it looked good. The layout of the place is fine, but it's very big and it's easy to get lost in there.

Las Palomas Senior Living is new and clean. It was empty when we toured because it was new, or not fully operated by the staff. But they're adequately staffed with the number of residents they have. It's definitely a place where I would want my mom to live. The staff we interacted with, which I think was the nurse and the sales representative, were very nice. I have not tried dining there but my sister did and she said it's excellent.
