My mom moved into Acoya Mesa. She seems to be adjusting and liking it. We liked it, and the price was where we needed to be. The staff was super friendly and helpful. It's a pretty new place, so the facility is extremely clean, neat, and well taken care of. They have a very good chef there. They have a movie theater, a salon, Bible study, art classes, and a gym. They have people come in to play music and do trivial pursuits. I think it's very affordable and worth the money.

I went to Acoya Mesa. It's lovely. It's only five years old. Everything was very clean and neat. The people were friendly. We only met one person, the tour person. So I didn't see anybody else. She was very knowledgeable. The facility is beautiful. It's very nice.

I liked how the individual rooms at Acoya Mesa open up into a common area instead of a hallway. It didn't look like the staff was really engaging with the residents, but the residents seemed comfortable. I looked at their memory care. It was afternoon time, so I didn't get to see food or anything like that, but there was staff around. The rooms were nice and big. They supplied one piece of furniture, so that was nice. The lady that helped me, Sarah, was nice, as well as the chef. They tailor food if they need to, like if the person is picky about what they eat and can't pick from the menu, then they will do individual food. It was good. The common area just didn't seem as clean to me. The other furniture was more leather furniture where it's easier to clean, versus fabric furniture, so it just looked a little dingy. They were really expensive. Their starting rate was like $4,300, and then their first level of care was $2,600, so it's over $6,000 to even walk in there, but I liked the setup. I liked that they can walk out and see people (versus having to walk down a hallway).

We toured Acoya Mesa. I was not impressed. The lady that gave the tour was nice, but it was like 15 minutes to 20 minutes max, we barely talked to her, and we walked through the place quickly. It wasn't like in disarray or anything, she didn't say anything, it was nothing. I think their assisted living was like a U-shape when you pull into a park, and one side was like the memory care. A guy is sitting out there like suntanning, so it's like some people living their lives and some people are memory care, and my mom might get confused. Their memory facility courtyard was like the patio of an apartment complex. It was tiny.

Acoya Mesa was the only place we visited. It is both independent and assisted living. The room was wonderful. You have your own washer and dryer. We looked at a one-bedroom. There's a nice-sized bedroom with a good closet, and then there's a bathroom, which has a very easily accessible shower. It was a nice-sized room; it wasn't teeny tiny. It even had a kitchen area with a microwave oven, a full-sized refrigerator, and a stovetop. The washer and dryer was fabulous, that's right there in the apartment. It had everything. Some of the apartments had balconies and some of them did not. They care about the people. They have a lot of activities. The food was awesome. You can even get food at different times of the day and it's three meals a day. The staff who toured me was wonderful. It's a big place, it's a beautiful place. It's three stories high. The people are very reactive. If you need something, they're there for you.

We went to look at Acoya Mesa. We had lunch there, and it was very good. One of the things my sister likes is that it's restaurant-style, so you could eat at any time of the day. There weren't specific times for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. She very much liked the apartment we looked at. It felt like it would be a good size for her. It's a newer facility, so it was more modern. There was a washer and dryer in each unit, which was nice. It was within our price range. They were doing puzzles and some other kind of activity.

My aunt liked Acoya Mesa very much. The rooms were spacious. The model that we were shown had good storage in the unit and she liked the size of the community and how many other residents there are. The staff was helpful and courteous. They have a PT/rec room and an onsite nail salon and hair salon. The dining room is available 12 hours a day from 7:00 to 7:00, and she appreciated that access. It appeared clean and well kept.

I have decided to choose Acoya Mesa for myself. I have a friend who moved there and I went down to visit her a couple of times, it's a beautiful facility and she's got a beautiful apartment. They've got all the latest amenities and fabulous restaurant-style dining with lots of nice choices. She's very happy there. It's only three years old, it's top-of-the-line in all respects. They only have pretty few vacancies, and we just got lucky and got a 1-bedroom 1-bath that's a larger one. The apartment that I got was down the end of the hall on the third floor, and it's got great big bay windows and a walk-out patio with views of all the mountain ranges. It's just fantastic and will fit my needs. I was not disappointed to see the place, it's got all the amenities like a movie theater. They're fully staffed, they have PT people and medical people. The dining area was fully open with lots of windows and light. I saw their independent living, but if you'd have to go into assisted living, you won't have to move. That's a very important point.

We toured ACOYA Mesa. They were above and beyond gracious and professional; they were great. We made an appointment and had a really thorough tour. They invited us back to join in activities even though my dad wasn't a resident yet, just so he sees if he would enjoy getting used to the facility. The rooms were fantastic. They were clean, modern, and were big. We looked at three different sizes and they were great. The staff was very professional, very courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. We weren't there at the right time for food, but they certainly invited us to try to come back at any time that we wanted to try some food or just have a meal. We saw people going to the movie theater and we talked to them while they were going. We were on the elevator with a lady, and she was saying that she was going to the movie theater. We went ahead and walked up there and looked at it, and then we went to the weight room. There was someone working out. There were people sitting together. They were in the main kind of bistro area. There were families visiting in there, and there were other residents just in there making phone calls and just casually enjoying their time.

Acoya Mesa is a new property. The rooms were more modern and I liked that. The employees and the residents were nice, cordial, and friendly. I have no complaints. The food was good. They had everything. They had a gym, a barber and beauty shop, transportation, a library, a theater, a bar area where they do happy hour, and a craft area.

We toured Acoya Mesa for my parents. It was the best. It looked like you were living at the Hilton. They had all sorts of amenities to offer. It was just beyond words. It was amazing. I never thought a place like that existed. The staff was wonderful. It's reassuring to know that it is available if we need it. The best thing I can say is I was ready to change my name to my mom's name so I could slip in and live there. Their dining area was restaurant-style. It was very nicely done. The waiting staff was nice. The food, I wouldn't say five-star quality, but probably better than most places.

Everyone at Acoya Mesa was extremely friendly. Everybody knew everyone. As we came across people, the residents would stop and talk to the staff. It was like a big family. The rooms were some of the nicest that we saw. There was ample closet space. All of the rooms had a full kitchen with a refrigerator and a stove. It felt like each apartment was a small home. They had an outside area with outside heaters set up and a fire pit. Their dining area was restaurant-style. They had menus on all the tables and choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you didn't want anything off there, then there was a standard menu that you could choose other stuff from. There were a few people doing puzzles and different things. I think their crafting area was above and beyond among all the facilities that I saw. They had actual beading classes, they do painting and jewelry making. I didn't see that level of crafting that goes on anywhere else. I was really impressed with that.

My second choice would have been Acoya Mesa. We toured the facility and it was just beautiful. They have a lot of activities going on. It's just a big facility and they have in their dining room, an actual cook. It was nice but we just couldn't afford it. My dad went with us during the tour, and the staff who assisted us talked to my dad and they were just nice. It was just the cost of the place. I ate dinner there and it was very good. And my dad too, and he ate all his food, and they just have a wide selection. I was impressed. the cleanliness of the facility was really good.

We got my dad at Acoya Mesa here in Arizona. He's in assisted living. It's new, very good-looking, bright and not dark. The staff is very good and very personable. I've tried the food once, and it's good. He enjoys it too. He's participated in several activities, and they're all very good. There's a little beer and wine social, and I've taken him to exercise activities. They have amenities like meeting rooms, an exercise room, a movie room, a big open lobby downstairs with another bistro area, and a library area. The whole place is very nice. I'd say the value is good. There are some places that are cheaper, but then they don't look as good as this one. You pay for what you get.

Acoya Mesa has bigger rooms, sunny rooms, balconies, and a nicer lobby. They have a beautiful dining area with an extensive menu, upscale amenities, and very nice people. They offered us a meal and let us pick from a seven or eight page menu anything we wanted. The staff was very good and residents came up and introduced themselves, and hoped that we were moving in, and so on.

My friend moved in to Acoyo in Mesa. He is very satisfied. He is very balanced and relaxed there. He likes the facility. As much as during this COVID situation that we are all in, he has restrictions and he can't leave, he has accepted all that and he likes it better now than before. He said the food is ten stars. His room is perfect. The staff is nice, communicative, caring, and he is very satisfied. I believe Acoyo Mesa has a very high standard.
