I have been most impressed with Legacy Village Memory Care. My sister is given all the love and attention that we can’t during this horrific pandemic. The activities that are going on when I visit at the window are always so fun to watch. My sister adores all the staff and Managers. Thank you Legacy for everything you do!

Legacy Village Memory Care of Taylorsville is beautiful and very comfortable. It's very open, so the residents can come out and sit together. The staff members were really good and looked healthy. You could tell that they were just very clean, very alert, and very responsive to the people there and us. That made a big difference to me because I wanted to know that my mom was going to be taken care of there. The manager-type person was so kind. She would call me once a month to check on my mother, see how she was doing, and see if we were ready to move her. I would recommend them because of their staff, the cleanliness of the building, and the fact that they are very open for the patients to communicate even with each other. Their staff-to-patient ratio was very good.

This community was very beautiful. I was looking for memory care for a family friend and Legacy Village came highly recommended by many. I went on a tour earlier this year and when I visited I was very impressed. They have a unique layout with cottages that have a smaller amount of residents. This felt more comfortable to me since I wanted to make sure the staff was not going to be overwhelmed and would have a chance to learn the residents. The activities that were going on looked like a lot of fun. The staff seemed to be happy and so did the residents. A few staff members even introduced themselves, which felt very comforting. They were extremely kind, welcoming, and caring. When we were trying to make a decision they were patient and answered every question we could possibly think of. Unfortunately, my friend passed away before we could move him. They reached out and offered to send us dinner to help during that difficult time. I know he would have loved Legacy Village and I will recommend this place to anyone who is looking for these services.

The facility is bright, clean and organized. The private rooms allow for each resident to have their personal items and space. The activities were a bright spot and the residents responded well. I was visiting daily and the staff seemed caring and friendly but lacked the desire to be the best. The meals were okay but often difficult for someone with failing teeth to eat. They were not equipped to handle oxygen but told us they were. The care giving staff to resident ratio was low and resulted in substandard care in several ways. The care giving staff also seemed to be the cleaning staff although they advertise differently. Our family member was injured and no one could or would ever explain how it happened. I would be cautious putting a person in this facility.

My precious mother is In the Memory Care at Legacy. My sister and I wanted and searched for the perfect place for her and we found it. They have been absolutely wonderful to work with. They have a warm and welcoming staff that truly take the time to listen. They are always interacting and giving lots of hugs and love to all of the residents. Legacy has two activities per day that bring them lots of smiles and fun. Those in charge of the activities are great! The rooms are the perfect size and the decor at Legacy is beautiful. We really liked that there are only 13 residents in each Cottage. They aren't just part of a huge group of people that get looked over or forgotten. Even with their declining memories they seem to know each other and look for that same familiar face. The greatest thing about Legacy Memory is that I know my sweet mom gets the very best of care. It broke my heart to think that anyone could possibly take care of her as good as we did...however, the love she feels there, warms my heart and I can sleep at night knowing she is in good hands...surrounded by people that love her. I give Legacy Memory Care my highest recommendation. It is the Best of the Best.

My mom has moved into Legacy Village of Taylorsville and it's wonderful. We chose it because it has very small units. There are only twelve people per unit and the staff is very attentive. They make sure that they residents are out of their room doing things with other people. They also take them to fun activities in the morning and afternoon. They serve three meals a day. They're really thorough at cleaning. I've watched them clean the bathrooms and it's amazing. They totally clean the rooms and they do the laundry for the residents. They have an in-house beautician and a doctor who comes and rotates through the facility. He charges above the cost of the room, but it's nice to be able to have him there and watching out for the patients individually. The staff is very friendly, very aware of all the residents, and every time they see them, they call them by name and give them compliments.

I liked Legacy. The place was clean and did not smell bad. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were OK. When we were there, they were watching TV. I thought they could improve by having signs because we did not know where we were. I did not know there was memory care there far in the back or that there were more buildings than just one.

I put my mom in Legacy Village Memory Care of Taylorsville. I like it. The dining area is good, and they meet there for bingo and stuff. They have activities at 2 o’clock. The food is good. I think the room is excellent; they keep it up and everything is clean. The help, their care, and the housekeeping are excellent. Everything is good there, and they care about their patients.

My mom is in Legacy Village. I think the food and the dining area are good. The staff is very caring. They seem to do a great job. She is in the memory care. I have not observed a lot of activities, but I know they do quite a few things.

There is a lot of drama between the CNA's and some aids are all about gossiping along with the kitchen manager she cares more about gossiping than cooking, save your time and money there is just to much drama at legacy village

Legacy Village is a clean, modern, and well furnished living space. I appreciated the fact that each person had his or her own apartment style space, and could retreat at any time for privacy. The staff seemed generally helpful and worked well with the residents. Originally the recreation director was a little bit too harsh with the residents, but he has since been replaced and the new director is kind and caring. Activities are varied, and the residents seem to enjoy the attention given to them. Residents also stated that the quality of the food was above average. Residents seemed to vary between mild dementia to moderate dementia, with a few more severely disabled. They have created a nice home-like atmosphere by allowing the residents to furnish their own spaces with decorations and items from home, creating a home environment rather than the hospital setting that is seen at other assisted living facilities. The facility was very clean, and had a large great room for activities and socializing. Overall it seems to be a very well-run and well organized assisted living provider.
