My mom has moved into Legacy House of South Jordan. I chose them because I was just comfortable with the environment. I really like the homey feeling and the way it is set up as far as activities and the different little apartments that they stay in. I was just impressed with it. The staff are very welcoming, and they've been great to Mom so far. They're very friendly and patient, and they have an upbeat attitude. The food is very good, too. I even had some with my mom and she liked it. They offer a lot of options. They have daily activities. They have a different range of things that people might be interested in. It's obviously up to the residents how involved they want to be. They seem to have a pretty nice schedule set up for different interests that they might have. The activity coordinator is very outgoing, fun, and friendly. She came and met my mom personally. It just seems like they have a lot planned. My mom's room is very nice, and that's another thing that I like. It was very clean, and it was just ready for her, like brand-new looking. It has a little kitchenette in it. Everything is very nice, and I am impressed with how updated it is.

My father has been at Legacy House of South Jordan for 6 months now. We chose them because they are just wonderful to work with and my dad liked them. They had been 100% A+ on everything. Dad likes the food there, but I have not tried it yet. He has a basic room with a bedroom, a big bathroom, a kitchen, and a little front room. They have a calendar of activities that they put out, and they have 3 or 4 things every day. They have movies, bingo, and different activities for different people all the time. I know my dad participates in some of them once in a while and he's been happy with that. The place is very clean and very pleasant. We've looked at several other places before choosing them, but they are the best priced and the best people to work with and it's just been a very positive thing for our family and my dad.

My spouse is in the memory care section of Legacy House South Jordan. Just ending her 14th week. I can't find words to express enough praise for the staff. Friendly, caring, patient, etc. just doesn't begin to describe how much effort and work they put into taking care of my sweetheart. I know they are overworked and underpaid, but their attitudes never show it. The staff are obviously trained to handle any kind of problem that arises, with backup nursing staff available when needed. Plus, in-facility access to podiatrists, hair saloon, etc. They have a great variety of group activities, but still take time out for the individuals. Manicures, exercises, hand lotion, backrubs, balloon volleyball, or just sitting and visiting. Rooms are large and kept clean. The food served is good. Frankly, it's not like "mom's cooking" , but it certainly exceeds my expectations for any facility that has to prepare and serve that many meals per day. We toured a number of facilities before selecting Legacy House, and we have been so pleased with Legacy's staff and facilities that I just wanted to pass along this review with our highest recommendations.

My wife moved into Legacy House of South Jordan, and she loves it. We didn't have any trouble at all getting her adjusted and feeling at home there. The staff are great. They treat the residents with respect, and they take good care of them. It's a relief for me to know that she's being cared for. The meals are good. The facilities are good, and they have group activities throughout the day. She is in a shared unit right now. They're actually separate rooms, but with a shared bathroom. We're on the list for a private room. Whenever that comes up, we'll try to move her to a private room. They seem to fill up pretty fast. There's only about 15 units in the memory care, which is a plus though. There's one hallway so they can't get lost and the staff doesn't have a lot of people to take care of. There's a lot of one on one attention given.

Legacy House of South Jordan looked very nice, clean, and comfortable. It would be a good option for my dad. I only met one staff person but she was very friendly. The rooms were really big, very spacious and they were nice. We glanced at the dining area fast, it was nice but we only looked at it for a few seconds. The facility looked like it was totally fine.

We found Legacy House of South Jordan for my mom and she moved there. They fit the needs of my mom, the staff is very kind and helpful, and very prompt to try to find a resolution to any problem. The room is a studio, but it's plenty big for her. We haven't been to the dining area yet, the food is good, it's not great, but it's OK. They have just about everything that other places do. We haven't been able to do anything yet, but that's because of my mom. They do have activities and they have a salon.

Legacy House of South Jordan was really lovely and looked very well kept. I liked the options of different levels of how they could live and the different levels of help. Those things impressed me. The staff was very nice. The apartments were very nice. It seemed like a very excellent option for people. To me, it's a perfect location. It's near some stores, and it's got hospitals within a couple miles.

I love Legacy House South Jordan! The staff is always so helpful and positive and willing to do a lot of things that aren’t required of them. I was there one Sunday morning and the director was there, on her day off, to fix a minor plumbing problem for a resident. The activities staff is a delightful group of ladies that really love and care for the residents. So engaging with everyone. They plan such fun and different activities each week , from musical performances to movies , morning mingles, exercises, manicures, and of course bingo. The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints Branch is very active and arranges for Sacrament services ,humanitarian projects and Temple visits. The staff is so respectful and helpful to the branch and are willing to assist in any way . I love the office staff and the aides. They honestly treat the residents with such concern and dignity and respect and love .

Seven weeks in Legacy and mom fell & broke her hip. Roving NP prescribed mom meds that caused her to be unstable and imbalanced. Family described the meds as making her 'high' 'doped up' & 'loopy'. Mom was in excruciating pain! Unbelievably, Mom laid in bed for a week, after falling & breaking bones in her room at Legacy. She had no ability to move w/o pain. Legacy CNAs helped her up when she fell and put her back in bed. No ambulance was called! X-rays taken days later at Legacy showed mom had broken bones. Yet Legacy would not call 911!! The US is not a third world country! Mom had no access to an MD’s evaluation for over a week. Assisted living is No hospital! No rehab. No nursing home! It’s NO place to lay in bed w/ broken bones for over a week w/ few pain meds & no hospital or MD’s medical attention! No MD came to see her. NP recommended against any surgery.

I really liked Legacy House of South Jordan, but they were a little higher in terms of cost. The rooms were very nice. The staff was good. They were doing some crafts and there were other things going on. The dining area looked very nice. It's all newly renovated and redecorated. They had some really nice activity rooms, fitness rooms, and craft rooms.

My Mother has been here since August and it is such a warm loving caring facility. The owners, staff, and everyone that works there are awesome. They really care about the residents, and extended Family members who come to visit. My Mother gets treated like a Queen, actually I see the others there get treated like that. I give them a 10 . I can’t say enough at how well pleased I am and my family members are with the service provided, also my Mother Loves it there at Legacy House:) The feeling is likewise:) The food is fantastic, dining room like a fancy restaurant, residents get to order off of a menu,, They have waiters and waitresses, the building is so clean and nice, remolded but it was nice before, it’s like the Ritz just saying Beautiful:)

I went to Legacy House of South Jordan. The people were very kind. I thought it looked outdated and a little rundown, but they were in the process of remodeling it. I thought it was fine, but the price was more than some other places. The rooms were nice. I would recommend it. My neighbor's mother was there and she really enjoyed it. The reason we did not choose it was basically because of the cost. The staff was very friendly.

My siblings and I have been very disappointed with Legacy House - and frustrated. The CNAs and Med Techs are very sweet and work very hard, but they don't have anyone to train and teach them. The new nurse at Legacy has no clinical experience except for what was required as part of her studies. Her personality and attitude are very negative. She doesn't seem to want to do anything, or perhaps she just doesn't know how. Such an incredible difference from the older, more experienced nurse that she replaced. Why Legacy House would hire an RN who just finished her nursing degree without any real clinical experience is beyond me. The administrator is nice, but has no presence in the facility. The recreation director has a sourpuss face and doesn't look like she enjoys her job. Nobody who works there has any training in geriatrics or in gerontology. The activities are geared toward one type of resident, and does not account for the variety of residents living there. Not a well-trained staff. Either the administrator and nurse should receive more training or be replaced by more experienced persons.

My father has moved in to Legacy House of South Jordan. They have a lot of activities for him there. They took him to the temple, and we're happy about that. They seemed to have quite a bit of help there too. They all appear very nice. He has been there a couple of months now. They have been very attentive as far as I've seen so far. They go out to outings, Wal-Mart, to breakfast, to lunch, and to different places. They have various activities going on during the day. They have a movie day, games, and different groups come in to perform musical numbers. They were a little more expensive, but as far as the number of activities and the care, it was worth the extra money.

We liked Legacy House of South Jordan because the facility was nice, the food was good, and the location was central to our family. My mom had a one-bedroom apartment. It had a nice little living room, a kitchenette, bedroom, and bathroom. The staff were caring and friendly. They had about five activities per week. They took the residents to restaurants and shopping malls, there were game nights, and special performers came to perform music or other talents. She was happy there.

My husband stayed at Legacy House for 7 months. It was very good. The staff was excellent and very helpful. They're very concerned about the people living there and they're very friendly. He was at the assisted living. They provided a lot of activities. The rooms are nice for a studio apartment. It had a small kitchenette.

Legacy House of South Jordan was a very nice facility and very family-oriented. The providers and managers were extremely nice. The main dining room of the assisted living unit was very nice. When they moved her to the memory care unit, I felt like her care was not up to par. They were understaffed. The basic staff was very good and very conscientious. The night staff were busy visiting and they had so many duties like cleaning and cooking. Their care was not centered on the residents. They were not supervised well and the memory care unit looked ignored. They needed more staff around the clock for the memory care unit. However, I would recommend the assisted living unit.
