My mother has moved into Copper Creek Senior Living. The thing I like best about this place is that they already have a gluten-free menu and dining options. The thing I like the least is that this center probably has the highest cost of all the facilities I visited. The personal care that we pay for is the most expensive of the 3 facilities we visited. The rooms are nice. They're just small, which is my experience at most of these facilities. My mom is in a 1-bedroom with a small kitchenette and a living room. I would guess they're probably average standard size compared to most. It had a washer and dryer in there and a microwave. She has a fairly spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower. I have tried their food, and it was good. They have a weekly calendar, and I would say activities happen about every 2 hours throughout the day.

We went to Copper Creek Senior Living. It was a nice new facility. It was very open, bright, and cheery. The person who gave the tour was very engaged, upbeat, and cheerful. They had physical therapy and hospice onsite, and I think they also had a dentist that came in periodically onsite. There was a beauty salon and an outdoor patio.

All the residents at Copper Creek Senior Living were out, active, and smiling. The place smelt nice. It just seemed like a wonderful place to live. They were doing a silent auction when I came in and they had a movie going in the movie theater. The residents were also watching a sports show in a different living area. They had popcorn going. It just seemed lively. I got to see the dining areas. There are multiple of them. So, they have a lot more options than just eating in the cafeteria. They always have food due to diabetes, which was important to me, and snacks in case their sugars are going low. It's where I wanted mom to go. I personally want to live there myself, too.

Copper Creek Senior Living was pretty good. I like the fact that there are washers and dryers in every room. You don't have to go down the hall to do your laundry. The rooms were pretty good sized. Some of them had been renovated. I saw one that had just recently been renovated. The CNAs were there 24 hours a day. If someone fell, there's somebody there to pick them up. They have a pretty nice theater room and an exercise room. They have a very nice family gathering area that's connected to a big balcony. The staff said they were going to put garden planter boxes out there, so that was nice. The view wasn't so great. The staff who toured me was great. They have doctors that would come in.

The place is outstanding. It is very positive and very responsive. It's upgraded. It's the newest of the facilities I visited. It felt like a professional environment. The marketing staff has been able to follow through with us several times. They offered to take a gift to my mother when she wasn't feeling very well even though she's not a resident there. She was out of the area, so we couldn't do that. They offered that I bring the gift/I could deliver it to her, but I declined. They arranged to have us tour an apartment that was available. It's one that I could tell where my mom would stay if she went there. It was impressive.

My mother moved here. We chose it because it was closer to our home, and when we went to view it the guy that we worked with was really nice and answered our questions. We were able to go in and look at their facility. It was very nice and very clean. The rooms were fine, and we brought her furniture in and everything. It's large enough, she has a bed, a dresser, and a chest of drawers. It's definitely a nice size room. The staff seems very nice, and she's been very happy with the food. They have a lot of activities, they have a beauty shop, and other things like that for her as well. She gets her hair done there, and that was important to us because she wants to get her hair done every week. When I was moving her stuff in the staff was very accommodating and very helpful. She's happy, and that's been a great plus.

Having my husband here has been good. I like how they pay attention to him, and they seem to be able to talk him into doing what he should to do. Sometimes it's hard, but it's good, and it's clean. I like it for him. The one day that I visited and went through there it looked like the residents were eating well. The staff has been amazing; they've been great. The activities that they told me about sound very good. He has tried to escape before, but they work with him very well, and have been gentle and caring with him.

My husband is in assisted living at The Sheridan at South Jordan. It is amazing and it is only one year old. It has very high ceilings, lots of windows, very open and bright. It's beautiful. The staff is phenomenal. The dining area is very nice and it's like a restaurant. You order off of a menu and they have daily specials available every day and the food is very good. They have a wide variety of activities and they publish a calendar every week. They have a theater room where they run movies, exercise room, salon, bistro, and an activity room where they do everything from quilting, Bingo, art, to reading novels to the residents.

It was brand new. There's a fantastic art program there. There were nice facilities for families coming in. They had a nice, separate dining room area for the residents. There was a nice outdoor deck and patio. The rooms were topnotch. They had a keyless entry system and monitors, so they knew where the residents were all the time. The staff was excellent. They had a piano in the hall, big closets, and washers and dryers in each room. It was a very nice facility.

My mother will move into assisted care here in February. The community is new, and they have assisted living and memory care. They have electronic devices; in case they fall or need assistance, they can just push a bracelet or necklace button, and they also can monitor where the residents are if they happen to be in area where they shouldn't be. They have individual washers and dryers in the assisted living rooms. We're looking quite forward to this facility, and it makes us a little bit more at home to have a few of the essentials that my mom would have at home. They have both studio and one-bedrooms available.
