I saw The Blake at Waco. It felt very youthful and very attentive. And for people who come from more of an upscale background, it probably felt homier. The staff was excellent. The food was excellent. It looks like they're always on top of it. They've made it feel much more like a residence and communal place. They're very inviting, from what we could tell. It felt very residential. It felt very much like you were going to a lovely hotel, more than a facility. And I think the people that they were aiming at wanted to feel like it was a residence and probably felt like this was a four-star or five-star resort. This place looked like you were interactive and it was a community.

The Blake at Waco smelled wonderful. Some dogs were in there, but you could not tell. They allow animals inside. It was very clean, and that was a positive. The community is very comparable to other places I toured as far as the cleanliness, the staff, and the knowledgeability of them. They have outings with the residents. They have memory care and assisted living as well.
