I chose it for my mom. Well, I made up my mind not to move my mother here; they followed up a couple of times, and they had something come open in a timely manner so that's why I chose them. It's excellent. My mom loves the food. She's happy so far. It has been a great experience so far with my mom there.

We toured Stoney Brook of Hewitt. It seemed to be clean. It was a little more dated than the place we picked. The price point was probably slightly lower, but I think the other place was more attractive for my mother. We only met one person and she was just fine. She was pleasant, and I didn't have anything negative to say.

I went to Stoney Brook of Hewitt. It was clean, but it was not updated and newer-looking as the other one was. It was a nice facility, but a little too structured for me. The rooms were nice, too. The thing I didn't like is that they had carpets instead of a vinyl plank or wood floors. It had a carpet that was not very attractive. But the layout of the room was very nice. They also had a courtyard. I didn't like that the dining room had assigned seating. I didn't like that they sat where they were told to sit. To me, that's too structured. The lady that gave the tour was very pleasant, but everybody else didn't speak.

I did a tour. I liked the cleanliness, the staff, and the activities that they had. The staff was quick if you needed attention on anything. They were very thorough. I was impressed with them. They gave you a choice of three different things on what you want to eat. I checked around with some of the people that were living there, and they said the food was excellent. They had balloon volleyball, bingo, and they had an exercise class going on as well.
