We've chosen to move my friend to The Landing at Stone Oak Memory Care because of the location. The staff was very pleasing and very positive, it's just what we wanted. We brought in our own hospital bed, and the bathroom and closet were very nice and spacious. They have church services and they have singing times, and they have a schedule of activities for all the residents to join in. The staff was very good, it was very clean and very nice. It's good value for the money.

This place may look nice but don't let that fool you! My brother stayed there just over two months and we paid out over $15,000 in that short amount of time. He was not bathed for the first ten days he was there. They were very short staffed and many of the patients were ignored when yelling for help . They left soiled diapers and feces in his bed as well as his shoes were caked with feces. If you care at all about your loved one, find the time to spend some time there on a weekend and you will see what really goes on at the Landing of Stone Oak. If you loved one has been injured there, move them and find a different place to put them.

Beautiful and safe community in a very convenient part of town for me. They help my Aunt with all of her needs and seem to keep her active and engaged. The rooms are all private which was important to me. She does share a bathroom with one other lady, and it has never been an issue. I have been happy with my choice.

We chose The Landing at Stone Oak; the staff and the caregivers are very kind. They are kind to the residents and the families. The facility is nice with activities for the residents and they have a very nice courtyard that the residents can go out to. They have 3 meals a day, there's music and everything there, and I think all the rooms have private bathrooms. It's in a nice location; the building is nice and it's very big. They have a lot of activities. I'm pleased with it and my husband likes the food.

My mom likes and enjoys the food at The Landing at Stone Oak. The food is good, and she says they take care of her. My mother has been there for a month. I love the rooms, and her room is great. All the nurses and caregivers are very patient and kind. They have wide hallways, and it's very clean and smells good.

The Landing at Stone Oak is an Alzheimer's memory care facility, and they're very helpful in getting my mom set up with a physician who comes in to the facility. It's a total care facility like if she needs anything medical, the doctor will come in and take care of her as far as her flu shots and anything like that. They have the podiatrist come in and take care of her. It's really been a relief for my family and me, and knowing that this has been taken care of for her has put my mind at ease. The ladies there are very thorough, they have RNs all the time, and whenever my mom needs anything, they let us know right away. They have a schedule that keeps her busy, and I think they have done a wonderful job with her. I would recommend them highly for anyone that needs this type of care for their family member.

The facility is very nice; however ,the staff is not. We brought our mother here after a stressful issue with family. The doctor immediately wanted to change her medication. We were given great opposition after asking, "why' and were never given a clear answer. My mother wears glasses and every time I came to visit she never had them on. After repeated asking that the staff help her remember to wear her glasses I was told, "oh your not familiar with memory care" and "we can't make her wear them." This has left me with a very bad feeling about the staff. We have additional issues with this facility; however, these are the ones that are the most negative. The facility is very nice.

The staff at The Landing is one of the most caring and professional staffs I have ever been involved with. My mother-in-law was a resident here until her passing. They made her days fun and she always felt well-cared for. The facility is clean, bright and has large corridors, which the residents seem to really like. There are numerous activities during the day and the meals are very good. The Landing changed management recently and have made many improvements since the Franklin Group took over. Our family could not have asked for better care for our loved one and we would highly recommend this facility for anyone who is looking.

The Landing at Stone Oak was OK on accommodations, but they did not seem to have a lot of the things we were looking for. The people were very good, though. They showed us around. They didn’t have as much to show as the other facility, but they did a good job. The Landing at Stone Oak was very appropriate for folks who were a little restricted by income.
