Moved my Father into Arden Courts last year and have been very pleased with his care. He likes the food, staff and activities. He especially likes the large outdoor courtyard and spending time out there, watching birds and the planes fly overhead. He seems as content as he possibly could be.

Arden Courts of San Antonio had a nice set up. It's pure memory care. They don't do anything else so they can focus on just that one area. They can be more fluid in the way that they treat them, because we've got so many different varieties of dementia/memory care that are out there so being able to focus on just memory care was definitely one of the big pluses that I saw. It was a very nice place. It was set up beautifully. It was like one big place, but they've got four different cottages, and within each cottage there were 12 or 14 people that actually lived in that space, but then all the spaces kind of came together into one big central area where everybody can interact with each other. So it was a good community. The lady was very, very helpful, and incredibly pleasant, and was very careful about pointing out all of the things that were available at that location. She was great.

Arden Courts of San Antonio have different painted rooms and an activity center. The people and the staff that I know there have been very kind. They have a lot of amenities like exercise for the residents and puzzles like all of the other places.

We moved my wife in October, and it has been a very positive experience. Arden Courts has excellent personnel and a good facility. They have live music every day. They have excellent programing for amusement and learning. She has been treated excellently. They have a staff psychiatrist available who also has a specialty in neurology. They have internal medicine people, registered nurses, and plenty of aides. I think it is probably the best one we have seen. The facility has four wings, and each wing has its own TV room and places to eat. My wife enjoys the food.

Arden Court in San Antonio is a very nice place. They are very caring. This one has a beautiful walkway path. The rooms are single rooms with a closet, a bed, a private bath, dressers, and have a garden view. They have music, exercise programs, physical activities, and games. My father enjoys the food. They have four different small dining rooms, so it is more intimate, like a family style, with the kitchens attached to the dining room. They are clean and well lit. The meals seem to be enjoyed by the residents. The chairs are comfortable, and the tables are nice. We like the setup, and we like the caring attitude from the staff. I like how all the doctors come in to the facility.

I cannot say enough good things about Arden Courts in San Antonio. My mother is happy and well-adjusted. The staff is terrific. The layout gives a great deal of freedom of movement for the residents, and this is especially important for my mother who hates to feel locked in. There is a neuro-psychiatrist available who has been invaluable in getting my mother stabilized. Before Arden Courts, she was psychotic and out of control at another memory care center. Now she is happy and well adjusted. Part of it was finding the right medication, but a lot of it has to do without the awesome facility and very caring and knowledgeable staff. This facility usually has a waiting list, so it is a good idea to plan ahead if you would like to place your loved one here.

Arden Court of San Antonio is our choice for my father because they have private rooms only and they only deal with Alzheimer's patients. They are very good. They are well versed in Alzheimer's. They have their own psychiatrist. They have their own medical doctor. Their rooms are large and airy. They are clean and chiseled. I like it because it is a safe and comfortable place for my father. I absolutely recommend it to others.

My dad's been in Arden Courts since October. So far everything is pretty good. The staff seem very patient with the people. Although my dad has fallen a couple times, and they just didn't quite get there in time. He doesn't walk well so that's to be expected. He's also incontinent but he's always clean. The staff seems to be caring for the most times.

Arden Courts has an enclosed area where residents can go outside. They have four different areas, what they call houses, and each house have their own little porch inside. They have certain staff for each area so that the patients can get oriented. There was also a very nice courtyard. The staff was very nice and very dedicated people. Some of them have worked there for numbers of years. I was told they've grown to love the people and they feel like they can reach out and touch the people in a way to help them through their rehabilitation.

Arden Courts of San Antonio was very helpful. The staff treated me nicely when I visited the facility. It is clean and you wouldn't ever think it's a nursing home. It's just way too expensive and I don't have any kind of long term care insurance.
