Shavano Park Senior Living is a very nice facility. It's clean. The memory care, which is where my mother is being placed, has ample open space for the residents to walk around. They have ongoing activities, but they have enough room to do those and let other residents do other things, so I'm very happy with that. My mom is not there yet, but I've been there different times and the staff has been very helpful, very nice, very attentive, and caring. I've been more and more impressed every time I've gone into that place. They've all been fantastic without fail.

My mother past away today. She was a resident of this facility. This was my mom’s 3rd facility and I thank god that she was at Sharvano Park. It was the first facility that she felt safe and comfortable in. The staff is so outstanding that I cannot find enough words to describe the beauty of these tender caring people. They treat red my mom like she was their Mom. Amber braided my mom’s hair and made her fell pretty again. Ana checked on my mother and showered her with attention. When I missed a day I could count on staff members To let me know how she was doing. Now Yolanda was the person who helped me bring my mother there. I love Yolanda she has no idea how her help gave me peace. The staff members I personally dealt with are truly caring angels. I cried today because I know that my mother went peacefully and was love and cared for by the staff of Shavano Park. If you want a safe, caring, loving environment the choose Shavano Park. They really care.

I was impressed with the personnel at Shavano Park Senior Living, even the director. He came in and introduced himself. They were excellent. The rooms were very nice and spacious. It has some kind of a little area for the bed and then a living area, and a kitchen that has a microwave, refrigerator, and cabinets. So, they can bring any snacks that they want. They have entertainment and a movie room, and they can get the residents out into whatever activities they want to attend. It's a smaller facility, which can have some advantages, but the only problem they had was that they had limited respite care. They only have one unit designated for respite care and you have to book it in advance.

My tour at Shavano Park Senior Living was excellent. I could not have asked for a better tour or a better person to give me the tour. I saw everything, and I was very impressed. I saw a room. It's a smaller facility than the other facility. I liked that better, that it was smaller. I saw the dining hall from a distance, and they have a very nice courtyard. The layout was excellent. It's two levels.

My mother is in Shavano Park Senior Living. I just liked the welcoming environment. She was not happy in any homestead situation, but the staff did their best and gave her the attention she needed to make her feel at home, so that was comforting. She came around. They have lots of activities, lounge areas, and decors, and it's very homey. It's very inviting and comfortable. There's nothing sterile about it. Her apartment was refurbished before she got in there, so it was very clean and very bright. It's facing a little courtyard. I like her room, the bathroom, and the laundry services. The nurses call me regularly if there are questions or even if it's just something nice to report, they'll call me with that, too. I feel very comfortable. She's not a runner. She communicates with me, and she knows what happens. If you push the door, the alarms go off. I'm completely comfortable. I don't think anybody is walking out of there and yet it's not a sterile environment. It's a warm and friendly environment. I was very impressed with the food. I make a lot of donations and I see them using them. These were materials I had for my mother at my house that she wouldn't use, and I see the activities director using them with the clients. I think they've handled the COVID situation very well overall. Everything is kind of loosening up, but we still have to fill out forms and get our temperature taken. They're doing the best they can and working with people.

Shavano Park Senior Living was very nice. The tour was good. I liked it a lot. It seemed very clean and comfortable. I only met one person, but very nice and helpful.
