First of all DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! My husband and I lived her for 14 months. It is not as advertised. They say active 55....but every event is during the day so if you work forget it. It is like a Retirment home. Lots of wheelchairs, walkers, and retired people. In my dealings with the manager....he was rude, disrespectful and does not care about the residents. I saw him be rude to a resident in front of a whole room of people. It was embarrassing to her . We moved out 2 months ago and have not gotten our deposit back yet. The manager stopped returning my calls. I had to start calling the new management co. (Greystar) and have gotten no help there either. I was told the check would be issued in a 7-10 days, then I was told it would be electronic, then I was told it would be a paper check again and it would go out "next day" I have never gotten it and now greystar will not return my calls or e-mails. This has been going on for 2 months. I do not usually leave reviews but I hope to save someone else the headache that we have been dealing with.

The Orchards Market Plaza is bright and airy. The public kitchen, the one they have in the common room, is awesome. The apartment is nice and well furnished. It's got a nice refrigerator and washer and dryer, and the stovetop and oven there are nice. It's a glass top, so it's cool. The staff who gave us the tour, her name was Star, and she was really nice and extremely helpful. Their dining area is very nice, but they don't do meals there except for special occasions. I know they have like poker, the women get together in bible studies, they do art, they do beat drum exercising, and they have yoga. We are leaning towards the Orchards Market Plaza.

The Orchards Market Plaza is brand new. They have only 25% capacity, but the rent was high for a place that doesn't have a cooking facility. The young lady was very, very nice. She lived not far from there. The facility was fine. They gave you a beautiful gift packet, and they gave you hand sanitizers. All the apartments were beautiful, so it was nice. The facility was beautiful, but they didn't have very much to offer. They want to do all the cooking.
