I'm at The Wellington at Arapaho. It is convenient. The people are very nice, the staff is very nice and I have been very comfortable here. I like the activities director. I like the people in the reception area. Their attitude has been wonderful. The food is improving. They're working on the taste and the presentation. The housekeepers are excellent. The maintenance man has been on top of things all the time. Anything I have requested, he has fulfilled quickly. The activity director has arranged activities that would appeal to a lot of people. We have people that like to read and we have a book group. People that like to do crafts have a craft group. I particularly like the bingo and the brain tease. There are different programs for different people. They do an excellent job.

The Wellington at Arapaho is well run, they take good care of us, and it's a safe place to live. The staff is very attentive and they listen to our complaints. The food has too many carbs, but I realize that's what they have to do. Everything here is good. We have two or three activities every day. There is a lot to do if you're interested in doing it. I do exercise class, trivia, Needlework Guild, and a couple other things. It's a caring place, and it's for very old people.

I'm at The Wellington at Arapaho. I like the care and how they're handling things whenever they're called on. I think they're really wanting to help people. The staff is very considerate and helpful. When they're asked to do something, they come out and they take care of the situation pretty quickly. It might be a little while, but they will respond to your call. In general, they have problems like anybody. I think they're trying to get better and improve themselves. They're very caring. Whenever you have a problem, they come in and try to clean it up as quickly as they can. There's basketball, bingo, and many different things. They want people to come out. They do present it in a way that people are, "Hey, I want to do this." I participate in a lot of the activities here. Value for money would be high. You get your money's worth. This is a very nice location and they try to meet your needs.

We're at The Wellington at Arapaho. The people here are great. They're very much concerned with everybody. They have several activities. It's just a matter of what you want to do, if you want to play Bridge or if you want to play poker. They do an overall good job. The staff is great. I have no bad experiences with them. They've gone out of their way a couple of times to do things that normally they didn't have to do. Today, we had barbecue ribs for lunch. Tonight, we're having Manchurian shrimp. They're two very good meals. The housekeeper is superb. She goes out of her way to let you know if you need something cleaned up, she will take care of your problem. There's poker, bingo, and church services. We've checked other facilities and they're in the same price or a little higher, and they're not giving me what I'm getting here. If I need to go to the doctor, they will pick me up and take me to the doctor's office and take me back to the facility.

I'm a resident of The Wellington at Arapaho. We have good assistance. We have good entertainment and good food. We have a very nice group of people here. They're all very friendly, and we all like each other. Most days, the food is very good and nutritious and the recipes are done by a dietitian. We have a very good staff. They're always helpful and kind. I just couldn't ask for a better staff. The maintenance and are very good. We have very good employees in every aspect. We have very good activities. There's something for everyone. We have good entertainment on Fridays and during the week we have games and projects and a lot of interesting things for everyone. Value for money is comparable to other places and we find it very reasonable.

I'm at The Wellington at Arapaho and I like my apartment very much. The people are friendly. It was a great location for me to move here. I've not had any problems with anything here. Housekeeping and maintenance, on a scale of 1 to 5, I give them a six. The people at the front desk are helpful. Any kind of question that I need, if I go up there, they can either answer it or get the answer for me. We have housekeeping and they come every week. They do an amazing job in my apartment keeping it clean. Everybody that I've had to have help from on the staff has been very good. The food is OK, but frequently there are meals served that I don't care for. I've only had to have maintenance come to my apartment twice and within about five minutes of me asking for the maintenance, they would be here and they did what needed to be done quickly and efficiently. I love the housekeeping. They change the linen on my bed and run the vacuum cleaner. They do everything. It's a treat. In my whole life, I've never had help like that. I really like what they do. I like the activities, there is a big variety, some I'm not at all interested in, several that I'm very interested in and they're also run very well. I rent the place that I live here. It's a month-to-month thing. Any apartment that you live in, the rent goes up occasionally and I'm concerned about that overall, but not just because of The Wellington. At the moment, I'm happy.

I'm at The Wellington at Arapaho. I liked the location. I had a friend that lived here already and she liked it. The apartment that they showed us that they had opened was just perfect. It was a one-bedroom and the price was also very good compared to where I had been. This was a very reasonable price. Also, it was very convenient. It's kind of where I wanted to live. I like the friendliness of the staff and everybody here. The dining room is fine. All in all, I really like The Wellington and where it is and how it is. It's decorated very, very beautifully and I'm an artist, so I look at things like that. The food is pretty good. They're cooking for 300 people and when you're cooking for 300 people, you're not going to have a gourmet food. We have good selections. If we don't want the menu, they have wonderful hamburgers and that's a real plus because it's not the easiest thing to make in the world. They have programs. Sometimes on Fridays, they have people come in and people enjoy them. They have some activities that are just here every week that I enjoy. The facility is wonderful. I've never had any problem. The cleaning lady is lovely and she does a really good job. I haven't had much maintenance, which is nice, but they come take care of it pretty much right away. So, that's a plus. They offer you rides if you need it. It's a very good value for what we pay. They did go up this year, which luckily I can afford. It's a real pretty facility. I like it.

The rooms and food are pretty typical. Sufficient but nothing special. There have been some staffing changes in the short time my mom has been here and for the better in my opinion. They are responsive to concerns.

The staff at The Wellington at Arapaho is wonderful. They're very caring, attentive, and very helpful. The food is good. The facility is very clean. Maintenance does a good job. They have Friday entertainment, bands or singing or playing instruments. There's bingo, billiards, drawing, and other board games. It's worth it because the area we're in, there are other facilities that offer less and charge more than we do.

The Wellington at Arapaho has a wonderful staff. They try really hard. They do a good job. They make everybody feel comfortable and they have a lot of activities. Almost all of the staff is rated a 5. Almost all of them have great attitudes and they're very helpful. They have a couple of good cooks and a couple of cooks that aren't as great, but they're really do try. They're trying to make everything a little better. The cleaning lady that comes in and cleans my room is excellent and does a great job in general. They have quite a few activities and they're trying to find more and different ones. They have poker, lectures, bingo, and some coloring. They have different speakers that come in and talk to us. Almost every Friday, they have some form of entertainment. For the services that they offer compared to the money, I think they're very fair.

I'm at The Wellington at Arapaho. I'm very happy here. We have housekeeping. We have a dining room that we go for meals. We have different activities you can participate in like bingo and coloring. They have a clinic that I can receive physical or occupational therapy. There's a library. We have live entertainment on Fridays. They provide happy hour, which is cocktails, like wine, one kind of alcohol, and sodas. That's really something to look forward to because it's every Friday. The housekeeper comes in and does a beautiful job. She does my laundry, my sheets, and my towels and then cleans. Maintenance has always been very good. The food sometimes tends to be a problem, and it's somewhat erratic. We have three or four different cooks that cook on different days or nights, and some are better than others. The staff is friendly and almost feel like they're friends of us. They're also very good at what they do. They have smiles on their faces other than when the servers are rushing to get the meals out to us. They are very thoughtful to us. Right now, I can afford it. I hope it doesn't go up significantly each year. I've only been here two years, so I can't really gauge about the value.

I'm at The Wellington at Arapaho. The community and the residents are very friendly. The staff deserves a five. They're always ready to listen to any thing that you would like to ask them. The facilities are very clean. There are a lot of activities going on all the time. We have trips to breakfast and lunch once a month and some out-of-town trips. They have a variety of activities, singers, dancers, ballet dancer and Hawaiian dancer. The activities are just very good and very well planned. They come in once a week and clean your apartment very well and do your laundry for you. I've never had any problem with them doing my laundry. The food in the cafeteria is well done and there's a variety.

I'm a resident at The Wellington at Arapaho. All the employees have been here for years. To me, a good assessment of any operation is tenure of the employees. Every once in a while, things don't work out, but generally speaking, food is a five-star. Maintenance is excellent. They have outside crews that do all the mowing of the yard, which is substantial. This facility is probably 30 or 40 years old, and they have beautiful grounds, trees, lawns, and bushes, and all of it is maintained just excellent. They have three guys that do all the maintenance. If you have a problem in your apartment, it's just a short wait period for them to come in and take care of whatever issue. They have cleaning once a week. It's very good. Every day, they'll have probably four different activities, like exercises, entertainment, trivia, brain teasers, bingo, and poker. Value for money is fair. I don't have an issue with it. I'm not interested in moving to some other facility, so I guess it speaks well of the operation.

My wife and I went to The Wellington at Arapaho. I didn't like it much at all. We didn't care much for it. It's very expensive, too. There's no closet space, no garages, and no storage. It's more of an assisted living place than anything. It's very nice on the inside, but they have kitchenettes instead of full kitchens. The staff was nice.

I liked the kindness of the staff at The Wellington at Arapaho. Their rooms are clean. Mom got a studio. It's laid out fine. There's enough room for what she needs. It's a nice little apartment. She had granite countertops, so it's just nice. Mom says the food is not that great. So, we'll have to work on making sure she has the meals that she wants when it's not the entree she wants. They have a separate dining room for assisted living. It's a large room with lots of tables. I think most of the chairs have arms on them. The ceiling's high with big lights. The space is nice enough. They have exercise, bingo, games, and poker. I think they celebrate birthdays, too. They have all kinds of things available. Their salon is in the independent living but the assisted living can make appointments to go to the salon and everything. Nothing is perfect, but they're pretty good and it's based on how much they take care of mom and how nice they are to her.

The Wellington at Arapaho was great. The staff was very nice. The facilities looked very good. They were updating. I even talked to some of the residents, and they were very nice as well. The rooms were nice and were being updated. They were very appropriate for my parents. They had different stages or levels of care, which was also very healthy, so I felt like I had a range of opportunities. I liked the way that they had a council of residents. So if they had issues, they would meet frequently to bring up those issues so that the residents would have a voice for change and opportunity, which I think is pretty good to have. I thought that the dining area looked very nice. The dining options and the menu looked very good. The food was good. Although they gave you options to season the food, they made it relatively bland for all of them, which makes sense.

We chose The Wellington at Arapaho for my mother. It provided all the services that we needed. It was better as far as the upfront service fee, which was not as much as the others. It was also nicer. I was impressed enough to think that that would be a good place for her to be. They had a full-service menu like restaurant style. They had a lot of social activities that my mom could do. They also had live music regularly and they had a happy hour every Friday afternoon. I talked to the salesperson and I liked her. She was very friendly and took a lot of time to answer my questions. I also met the lead nurse and she talked to me about the services and what nursing care could do for my mom. So, I was impressed with her.

The Wellington at Arapaho was where I had wanted my sister to go, if not down here. Lisa was very nice that I worked with. It was a nice facility. She just couldn't go there anymore because she has to be in a nursing home and not assisted living. I did tour the facility. The rooms were nice. I really only preferred the studio, but the one I went in was plain and sufficient for a bed, a chair, table, and they offer a separate bathroom and a mini-kitchen with the sink, refrigerator, and microwave. It was perfect for her. I wasn't looking for any larger room. The halls were clean. Every room that I did go in there was clean. They were doing activities in the activity room, playing games in there or whatever. Everyone I was in touch with was very nice. The atmosphere was great. Some of the people that live there were out in the great room. It's smaller than some of the bigger places, but it was very comfortable. They had a wall there to recognize the Veterans, and I was there when they decorated it for Easter. It was very tastefully done. I did not try the food, but when I went toward the kitchen area it had a nice aroma to it. Some of the residents were sitting down to eat and everything looked nice. There was nothing on the floors or anything like that. It was very clean. I didn't go in every single room, but from what I saw, everything looked clean.

My friends chose The Wellington at Arapaho. They already placed a deposit. The people are wonderful. The director was very helpful, and very nice. It's just a really pretty facility. The rooms are nice. The staff's nice, people are nice. Everything just seemed to work out well. We saw people playing dominoes, cards, and bingo. There was a pool table, but no one was playing. We're sitting right now in the happy hour. Fabulous. They've had their drinks, and now they have entertainment, just lovely. One of the times we've been here, they did pick up two of the residents, and they took them to the doctor. So I know that they do have a shuttle to doctors. What they don't have is wi-fi, I just tried to get on wi-fi, but they don't supply it, which is a little disappointing to me.

My mother moved into The Wellington at Arapaho. It got a kind of complete adult living environment, and it's nice inside. The staff is super nice. I think economically it met our requirements, and location-wise it's great. It's not too far from where we live. It's got a small stove, an oven, and a microwave. There are washers and dryers that are shared for each floor and so, that's good enough to make simple meals and convenient laundry services. They do weekly housekeeping as well. So they change sheets, clean the room, dust it, clean the floors, and I think they do the towels, too. They do everything except for clothing. Outstanding staff. Everybody's been receptive, super nice, and helpful. It's got a great floor plan overall, and it's set up nicely, so it's easy to move in. It's easy for us to access my mother, and the rooms are roomy. They publish a calendar every month, and they have activities every day. There's an outdoor patio/grass area.

The Wellington at Arapaho was a lot warmer and decorated a lot better, the staff was a little friendlier, and it seemed more vibrant or active than the others we visited. The dining area was nice. It was lunchtime and it seemed to be busy and the people there seemed to be enjoying it. They had a garden outdoor area. I don't think there's anybody out there, but it seemed fairly warm. The layout was pretty much what you would expect. There's nothing fancy. They had it divided between independent living and assisted living. We only looked at the independent living side, but it seemed nice.

The Wellington at Arapaho was the best out of all the places I visited. I liked the courtesy and professionalism of the staff. They were willing and very honest about everything. Overall, I just felt like I trusted them, and that was probably the place I would pick for my mom. Meals were optional. You can come and go as you please. They had a shuttle to take the residents to places. The room that I saw had a small fridge, a microwave, and a little stove top. The washer and dryer were just down the hallway. They had a courtyard and walking paths around the building. The senior citizen center was just half a block down the street, which is such a convenience because you can have all the recreation centers for the senior citizens by just walking half a block.

My dad was at The Wellington at Arapaho. It was like a family there. The staff were very caring with the residents. I liked the location. It was very close to me. I also liked that they had a lot of activities. Every Friday, they had some kind of happy hour. It wasn't necessarily an alcohol happy hour. Instead, they would have either a watermelon activity, like a Hawaiian theme or other things like that. They had transportation. They went to places, such as the store or somewhere else they wanted to go.

I'm at The Wellington at Arapaho. I like the cleanliness. I like the variety of activities. I like the shopping experience that they give us. I like the food, though sometimes it's wrong, but it's a big facility and they're doing two different meals, assisted living and independent living. There's a variety of games and visitations to various interesting locations. Every Monday, we have a big shopping trip to Wal-Mart. We go out to lunch and breakfast. We stay here for dinner always. We've gone to a lot of different places. Right at this minute, I think I'm missing an Elvis impersonator, but it didn't really bother me too much. I live in a one-bedroom and it's very adequate. They have different sizes and the two-bedroom, two-bath, I think, is the largest. They have upstairs and downstairs. Unfortunately, I live in the back, but it's good exercise. It's close to an elevator, but I'm far away from the front. I haven't gotten started into an exercise program because I have some medical conditions that had to be corrected before I can do that. This facility is answering my need for everything.

I've been staying at The Wellington at Arapaho for two years now. I have had a good experience here. We have a wonderful activity department and the lady who does that does a good job. They have been very good to me, and they are good to everybody here. There are just little other things that we don't like sometimes. They could use a little help with their food. Their staff is caring and helpful. The facility is good. They change your bed, change your sheets and wash those once a week and that is very helpful. You have Spectrum TV, which is much cheaper than if you were out in an apartment, and I like that. They have meals. We have continental breakfast, which normally we go down and pick up something, cereal and milk and bananas and stuff like that. We have two meals usually served to us every day in the dining room. We have dominos, bingo, cards, and crocheting sometimes. We have just many activities and we have entertainment usually once a week. Sometimes, we don't have it, but as a rule, we have entertainment on Friday afternoons. Sometimes we have crafts day. We have chair exercise, which I do attend and I like that very much. As a whole, this is a good place. The food is sometimes very good and sometimes not. We sometimes have problems keeping people like the servers, but we have cooks and they're here most of the time. To me, the rent is a little high, but I'm sure there are other people here who can afford a high rent and they think it's fine.

I'm very happy here at The Wellington at Arapaho. I've been here about eight years now. There's very little I don't like. I enjoy all the activities that they put on. I play cards almost all afternoon with three other ladies. We're very active here. They have bingo, cards, dominoes, and brain tease. I go to all these things. I'm out of my apartment at 11:30 and I don't return until 8:00 at night. The facilities are very good. They have three meals a day. The food is as good as could be expected. There is so much to do here. The people that work here are extremely friendly and the head, Oli, who works with the activities department makes sure that we have good decorations in the main lobby. She and her helpers do such a beautiful job. There's a lot of people living here and they're all pretty well taken care of by themselves or they get little help if they needed. The place is kept so clean; you can eat off the floors, that's how clean it is. It's very well decorated for the different seasons. We have good entertainment every Friday. We have outsiders coming in. This Friday, we have an Elvis impersonator, and he entertains us in the living room. They set it up with chairs and everything and the residents from the assisted living come in, too. Right after that, we have happy hour. They serve different kinds of drinks, sometimes it's a little alcohol, but Oli watches. She's very careful who gets what because she knows every resident. If they're on medication, she doesn't give them alcohol. I love it here. This place is kept spotless. The staff is very good and very helpful to the residents. It's difficult cooking for as many people as we have here, but they try their best. Sometimes, the food is not that best good, but majority of the time it is very good. If you don't like what they're serving as their main dish, you have a choice of what you can get. The apartments are beautiful. They clean the apartments every week. It's done very nicely. They're extremely good. There are quite a few people in here that don't come out of their apartments at all. If they come down for meals, they go right back to their apartments to watch television, but they do have a lot of activities. There are card games going on. Some people play poker. I play Skip-Bo. I have my hair done on Tuesday. They have very good laundry rooms here with no charge. They keep the place nice and clean. For value for my money, I think it's worth it.

I'm at The Wellington at Arapaho. They do a great job and they're very courteous and friendly. I've been here just a month. They're very welcoming. The facilities are very clean, which is what impressed me. They have music and various activities like they had a luau when I was first here. The food is very good. I have a one-bedroom apartment and I love it. It's great.

We're at The Wellington at Arapaho. The lady that helps us, Oli, is wonderful, and she just does everything for us. It's independent living, but they have a maid that comes in once a week and makes the whole apartment look perfect. We go down to the dining room and eat. They take care of the apartment. We have happy hour on Friday. I can't complain about that. My wife is disabled, so she doesn't go down. I go down and I get two meals to-go and then bring it back and we eat here in the apartment. There's a great variety, just a little too much chicken maybe. They do water coloring, and they bring in musicians and some of them are really good. They volunteer their services to play for an hour for us. This one guy last week was playing piano and he didn't ever stop. He just kept calling out, "What do you want to hear?" He was good. This facility is excellent. The staff is spectacular. There's nobody that doesn't do the best that they can here. Nobody's perfect, but they do a good job. Everything's clean, tidy, and kept up. We have nice big windows in the apartment and we look out. We're on the second floor, so we get to watch the squirrels and the trees.

I love The Wellington at Arapaho. I've been here for nine months now. I like the people, both the residents and the employees. We have all kinds of activities. We have a game room that's well stocked, we have card games that we play, bingo, and poker, and there's a place where you can do picture puzzles. Every Friday, we have entertainment and a happy hour. The facility is excellent. The food is excellent, but the preparation is average. Almost every meal has got some sort of vegetables. We've got chicken, beef, and pork, you name it. We have the ability to order off of the regular menu if we choose. The staff is wonderful. I couldn't ask for anybody better. Their physical therapy department is excellent.

I live at The Wellington at Arapaho. I enjoy it very much. My niece in Austin was familiar with the place because she had been looking at places for her mother, and she said, "This is one you'd like." So, I came over and looked at it and I liked it. We have a dining room where we have lunch and dinner, and the food is fine. It's very nice and very clean. We have lots of activities. They have different activities I participate in. We do a lot of mental stuff. We have brain tease and things like that. We get the jigsaw puzzles out of the paper every day. They go once a week to some restaurant, but I am not interested in it. The staff's very good. Our activities manager has been here forever. I think she's been here about 15 years and we have a lot of activities. On Friday, we have a musician of some sort come in for live entertainment. We get a pianist or a singer and we enjoy them. We always have a good program. I'm very pleased. I've been here five years now and I like it. Our activities director is very active and always has something for entertainment and our manager and the receptionist have all been here for a long time and they're very good. I'm very pleased with the overall operation. We have a standard meal for dinners. You get to pick, but it's not like a restaurant menu. If you don't like the menu, you can get a hamburger or a hotdog or something else like that. I'm pleased with what I'm paying for what I get. As soon as I walked in, I knew I wanted to move in here. I was pleased with what I saw and the cleanliness of it and the size of the rooms.

We live at The Wellington at Arapaho. My husband and I have been here five years now. I like the friendliness of the residents and the staff. The entertainment is wonderful. On Fridays, we have live entertainment, and we have people coming in like violinists, pianists, and singers. It's a different type every time. We have games, brain tease, trivia, card games, and lots of different activities. Everybody stays busy all the time. The facility is very nice and well kept. We have continental breakfast that you can go down to in the mornings and then we have lunch and dinner.

I'm a current resident of The Wellington at Arapaho. I've been here for three years now. I believe that our directors are caring people. We have games and bingo, we have entertainers from the outside come in, and we have some new things. I think one is kind of a music and dance class and card games. There are plenty of activities. The meals are adequate for a balanced diet.

I've been living at The Wellington at Arapaho for three months now. I want to put in a 5-star review for Oli. She does a fantabulous job. They have really good musical entertainment. We had a hula dancer who gave us all hula lessons. We have violin playing, and then a jazz singer and a country western singer. The food is not wonderful though. The staff is competent, good, friendly, and helpful. I think it's a little expensive. They need updating of the kitchen and bathrooms in the apartments. The staff and the activities make it very nice, and the residents here are very, very nice.

I live at The Wellington at Arapaho for over a year now. The staff, Oli, does different things. This morning, she helped me get some food because all of the muffins and things were gone when I got down there (because I got down there late). She got me a banana and helped me get my coffee and things like that. They have food here. They bring you lunch and dinner. If you don't like exactly whatever it is they may have, you can get an alternate if they have it. The food is usually pretty good. There's a lot of people here besides me and you get to know different people and talk to different people. You're not by yourself all the time. They have exercises, they have dancing, and they bring people in to perform different things for you. I think it's a good place. Most of the staff are OK. It's real clean. They clean the place every day. I don't go to many of the activities. I just come up here and sit down and stay up here, but I know they have a lot of stuff. They have shops that you can go to.

I've been at The Wellington at Arapaho for nine years now. What I like most are the people. When I see new people come in, I try to tell them how everyone is kind to each other. I like my apartment, the way they clean and stuff. I just like the whole package. The food is average. The staff here is extremely good, but also the residents. We just all seem to get along. They have bingo, I meet with my friends and we play Skip-Bo, which is a card game, they have brainteaser, trivia, and on Fridays it's our most fun, which is happy hour. We usually have a guest who performs for us and then we have some wine, so that's my favorite. When people walk in here and they ask, I always try to tell them that I've lived here this long and I still like it. I really think everything is wonderful here. They could bring the food up a step higher and we tell them that.

I've only been here at The Wellington at Arapaho for about six months. They have a lot of nice people and they're very attentive. Whenever you ask for something, you get it. A couple of times, I do not feel well, they knock on the door and bring me something to eat. I've been fortunate I haven't had to avail myself of a lot of their services, but I know they're there because I pressed the button one time when I fell and I had somebody in there within seconds. They certainly keep the facilities clean. I presume that you have to go down always to eat, although a couple of times I didn't feel well, and they had the meal delivered to me. Every Wednesday, I know that they have gone out to some restaurants and to the casino. They always decorate for all the holidays. It's a nice place to be. The staff is very obliging, like the one who cleans my apartment, and when I've gone to church and I came in late, they've always given me a meal. The people are very nice. The food is good and they give you desserts at lunch and at dinner. They've got bingo every day, church service on Sunday afternoon, and exercise classes three days a week.

The Wellington at Arapaho is a very good place to stay. I've always raved about The Wellington and their activities director, Oli, has always been excellent. I have been here almost two years now. I like the activities and the things that they have here. They don't let you just sit and look at four walls. I use a cane, but I don't use a walker or a wheelchair or anything like that, but they provide the same activities for everyone. They have a bus that's equipped for handicapped people and people in wheelchairs. We go at least twice a week on outings, whether it's to peach orchard or someplace for breakfast or dinner or an activity. We do various things. What's been exciting for me is not to have to just sit and stare at four walls and watch TV. They provide excellent meals. We're served three meals a day, but what we do on the first meal is we go down and we get our breakfast. We get whatever we need from the service area. We serve ourselves and bring it to our room. Then dinner and supper are provided for us. The facilities are excellent. There are all sizes of rooms. They have a large one which has a large bedroom and a large closet. They actually have a bedroom and a half with two bathrooms. I'm in a smaller apartment. I am in a one-bedroom, one-bath, one small living room, and small kitchen. They have a variety of sizes that you can choose to go into. They have everything that your home would have. They have a pool table, a game room where you can put puzzles together, you can check library books out, and you can sit and read the newspaper. They have a central living room that we meet in and that's where we do a lot of activities. They have a Bible study a couple of times a week for all denominations. They have cards and games. They don't force you to do anything at all. They encourage you, but they don't force you. If you are an introvert, you can still be an introvert. If you want to participate, they encourage you a lot to get out and at least try it. The price is pretty reasonable.

I've been at The Wellington at Arapaho for about three months now. What I like most are the caring caregivers. The facilities are very modern and up-to-date. The little kitchen area is very convenient and really easy to use. I'm living in a studio. The food is average. I would imagine the activities are very good. I haven't been able to participate in very many of them because I just came out of the hospital with a broken hip. Value for money is average to very good.

I've been at The Wellington at Arapaho for five years now. It's comfortable. The staff is good. It's a two-story facility and it has a very nice approach if you're driving into it. It's well built. Architecturally, it's nicely constructed. It's nice inside. It's nice to have my friends come in from the outside. It's well maintained. The food runs from fair to good. They have activities nearly every day. They have dominoes, pool, numerous card games, Bridge, and other games. We have a library. On Fridays, they have happy hour here and they usually have some entertainment brought in from the outside, pianist or violinist or singer, maybe a small band. They usually have cocktails if you want one or soft drinks. Our facility is probably 95% occupied now. It was about 75% when I moved in five years ago.

I've been at The Wellington at Arapaho for about four-and-a-half years now. They're all nice and friendly and easy to talk to. I love the activities we have with the activity person. The way they decorate, everything is so nice, season wise. They provide lunch and dinner. There is breakfast, but I don't get up early. The food is usually pretty tasty. We have chicken a lot and they fix it different ways, so it makes it more palatable. The vegetables are usually good, too. I'm not supposed to eat dessert, but I eat a few because they are good. I have one problem. Housekeeping takes off for a holiday and my room doesn't get cleaned until the next week, but they do a good job. They have an excellent physical therapy here, so you don't have to go out. It really works out wonderful, and they're really good.

I'm at The Wellington at Arapaho. I've been here for almost five weeks and the experience has been wonderful. The people are friendly. I've been involved in a lot of activities like bingo, Skip-Bo, and different games. I also go to a chair exercise class in the morning three days a week. They have happy hour with entertainment every Friday right before our dinner. It's friendly and sociable. The atmosphere is very nice. I know I haven't been here as long as others, but it has been a really good experience for me. They offer food and transportation for shopping, grocery, Wal-Mart, CVS, anywhere you need to go to get your business done. Tuesday and Thursday, they offer transportation to any medical appointments. We went to Braum's for ice cream one afternoon. Things like that make it much easier. It's very aesthetic. The paintings they've put on the walls (walking down the hallways to your room and to different areas) are very easy on the eyes. There are beautiful sceneries. It's very clean. I have a balcony that overlooks the courtyard, which is really nice to sit out and relax. I've done that a few times. It is a nice view. They clean our rooms, and the staff is very efficient and does a really good job. I do my personal laundry, but the cleaning person washes our sheets and towels for us, along with cleaning the apartment. I believe I'm getting my money's worth. Sometimes, the food is just not hot enough, and that would be my only complaint. I usually try the vegetable first because I like my vegetables warm, and sometimes they just aren't warm enough for me.

I've been living here at The Wellington at Arapaho for about three years now. Everyone is very friendly here. Everybody gets along well with each other. We have activities. It's a very large facility that has the independent living on one side and the other side has assisted living. Each person has their own apartment. We have a big living area in the front and a big game room. We have housekeeping facilities and our food is prepared for us three times a day, five days a week. We have an activity director, Oli. I like her to get a five-star. She is very good at what she does. Just about every week, we have some kind of a special program. Some of them are singers and some are piano players, just different things that we have. A friend of a resident is a bagpipe player and we had him today. He showed us how he tunes his bagpipes, and he played some music for us. The activity director keeps the place decorated with current decorations for different occasions. She does a very good job on that. It's a very pretty place to live in. We have very good staff. The food is good sometimes and sometimes it's not so good, and I think that has to do with individual preference in food and how it's prepared. Everybody doesn't like the same thing, of course. I would prefer more activities than what we have, but every Friday, we have a special program of some sort. It might be music or it could be other things, like today it was about Ireland and Scotland. I would like to see the food program improve some.

The Wellington at Arapaho had a happy bunch of people. There must have been 150 people in the dining room at lunch the day of our visit. I would say the age group is between 60 and 80, but they did have a little lady who was 103 there. They were a very congenial group. They had the place decorated nicely. They had ceiling fans too so it's nice because my husband and I are too apt to fall so we didn't want fans sitting around on the floor. We'd rather have them on the ceiling. We weren't pleased with the food. The room we saw had a kitchenette. I noticed that they had carpet in some of the rooms too. They had an honor wall for the veterans, which was nice. They also had a movie theater. The place is close to a 4-lane road. You could even pull right in off of that road so I think it's dangerous. It's between Custer Road and Colt Road so it's a very busy area and my husband wasn't too happy with that. I don't know whether they ever had accidents there or not but it wouldn't be far from it.

The Wellington at Arapaho had beautiful grounds and I had a very friendly greeting when I arrived. Their staff was very organized and I was able to view all of the areas. I saw the dining room and a couple of the apartments, and I was introduced to the events director while I was there and the medical director. Their activities were cool. They take the residents out and have planned trips once a week, like going to Ham's Orchards, to the casino, or to the Bob Woodruff Park for a barbecue picnic. They also offer transportation where they take the residents to the grocery store and doctor's appointments.

My mother is at The Wellington at Arapaho. I like it. It's modern and pretty big sized. She is in a wheelchair, so she has plenty of room to roam around in. I like it better than the facility where she was previously at. I've been happy with the services. They tend to my mom's needs, they take care of her, they tell her what they're gonna do before they do it. For helping her out of the bed, getting her dressed or going to the bathroom, they always tell her upfront what they're getting ready to do, and I like that idea instead of just grabbing her and pulling her up out of bed. I like that. Her other place didn't seem to do that as much. They have socials every Friday at 3:00, so she gets to meet other people in there. They seem to be having weekly activities. She gets her hair done there, which she likes. It's convenient. The food is average.

I've seen people in passing, they were all very nice and welcoming. It was a pretty big facility, pretty, up to date, and their apartment was nice. I found The Wellington at Arapaho for myself. I haven't moved in yet, but I did a tour last week, and it was a nice tour. They showed me four or five apartments, and I took the last one. Most of the apartments were clean, but the one that I took was not. It had tarps on the floor, the windows were taped up, and there were buckets and stuff on the floor. They told me that it will all be cleaned up before I get there. Someone had just moved out, and they were redoing the carpets and painting the place. The tour leader and the handyman were the only two people I met. They have a TV room, a library, an exercise area, and a dining area. It looked pretty typical compared to all the other places I looked at.

My Mom-in-law has lived at The Wellington for the last 7 years and she loves the family oriented community. The employees of The Wellington obviously care about the community and are responsive to residents' needs. Moreover, they truly enjoy spending time visiting with residents and the residents' wellbeing is priority number one. Activities are offered on a daily basis and outside entertainment is provided as often as possible, all following current CDC and county guidelines to maintain safety. The facility is clean and attractive. It has several outdoor areas where family members can safely visit and maintain social distancing, as well as a walking trail that my Mom-in-law utilizes daily. The new chef is providing tasty food, and is genuinely concerned about not only the residents' nutritional needs, but their enjoyment of meals.

I have two friends from church at this facility. The people who work there are so very helpful and accomodating. Bryan B. and Brett who are involved with management are incredibly caring and helpful. We started in the Assisted Living area during the covid crisis so it was difficult for everyone because of the isolation. But the staff worked so hard to make it as good as possible. Later one of the residents moved to independent living and the other stayed in the assisted living area. And again Bryan and Bret have been extremely caring and helpful through all theses changes. The rooms are great, some with walk in closets. The activities are limited due to the covid, but they do what they can. I would highly recommend this facility and the people there.

I loved everything about The Wellington at Arapaho. They had a wing for independent and assisted living, and my mother won't have to relocate if she needed assisted living. They had everything we wanted and I really liked it. The staff bent over backwards to explain to me what their programs were and they knew the residents as individuals. They were wonderful and they understand the need of seniors. They had studio, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments and several floor plans. As the rooms are being vacated, they're all being updated. They're putting in granite counters, repainting, and re-carpeting. The hallways were updated and it's lovely there. They had lots of activities, exercise classes, trips, in-house movies, going to the movies, and transportation within 5 miles to different places. The residents were very cheerful and very social. They had an exercise area, a beautiful dining room, social rooms, and libraries. The menu was one of the best I've seen. There were lots of variety, and it doesn't repeat every week or two weeks. They had a piano out in the lobby, and the common areas were spacious. I really liked it there.

The Wellington at Arapaho's food is like good home-cooking. We just felt like this fit my mother better, and it feels more like home for her, and it's just more of her kind of environment. It's a really large facility, and my mom is in assisted living, which is a comfortable size. It's not so big, so she can't get lost in it. The staff is really friendly, and the people who live around her are friendly. She's been enjoying it quite a bit. There are just very simple hallways, and it's just 1 story. It's a protected area with alarms that go off if anybody opens one of the outside doors. They have a couple of very simple indoor courtyards. She feels safe; she has people check on her and people who remind her to go to meals and activities. It's a really good place.

The one that I like best is called The Wellington (The Wellington at Arapaho). The people who live there were super nice. I would recommend this community. They have the 3 meals. They have all kinds of things for the people who live there to do. They have a lot of options for the people who live there. They have pretty much everything. They have lots of activities. They have games, and they have exercise programs. They have pretty much all the same things all of them do -- e.g., places where they can get their hair done. They have all different types of games. My mom has already decided that she likes The Wellington.

I signed up with Wellington; they have assisted living and independent living, and right now I needed assisted. Everything looked good to me. The staff was confident and nice. They had two dining areas, which looked very nice, and a lot of activities, like trips to the store.

I like The Wellington (The Wellington at Arapaho) very much. It was very nice. Their apartments were very nice. The one thing that I did not care for was that there aren't any washers and dryers in the apartments. There is a washer and dryer for so many rooms on a floor, but I’m looking for a place that has a washer and dryer in the apartment. They have a salon, a library, and activities that I would be interested in, like bridge and card games.

My mother has been living in Wellington since the end of March. I’m not entirely happy with it right now. I was promised something that is no longer being offered, and it was making me upset and hindering my mother from being as independent as I’d like her to be. The facility has been going through remodeling since we’ve been there. They’re taking out the carpet that I like and putting in ugly ones. The facilities are nice for independent living and not so nice for assisted living, and my mother lives in the assisted living. She reports that the vegetables are often overcooked, which a lot of the seniors liked, but any breads or desserts are very good. There’s a salad bar and dedicated servers in the building. She’s very happy with the lady who does her hair.

I toured the independent living of The Wellington at Arapaho. It was nice and quiet. The food was good, and you could get half servings. They were completely renovating it. The staff was very nice.

I visited The Wellington at Arapaho. The staff was wonderful. They showed me around while they were in the process of remodeling. The rooms were small but very nice. The price was good.

We toured The Wellington. They were well staffed. We saw a couple of residents, but we did not talk to anybody. The rooms were clean and nice. The neighborhood seemed nice, and we live a mile away, which was why we liked it.

I pick The Wellington for my mother because they have larger rooms. It has rooms that actually have a bedroom and a living room with a kitchenette. They have more activities throughout the day, like they have exercise every morning from 10:00 to 11:00, Mondays to Fridays. They have activities in the afternoon. I like that they are all in one floor. They serve a large quantity of food. I do not know how it tastes, but it looks OK. They have an alternative menu that she can order from, if she does not like what they are serving that day. For the most part, I think the staff is fairly good. They come, wake her up in the morning, and tell her to get ready for breakfast. If she does not come for breakfast, they will come and get her. They come and get her when it is time for exercise and other activities. Most of them are quite nice.

I went to visit The Wellington at Arapaho, and I saw that they didn’t have a full kitchen. What they had is an apartment-size refrigerator and a cabinet, and that's it. Their apartments were tiny, and that would not fit my husband's needs.

We visited The Wellington at Arapaho for my mother. It felt much more confined, and the concept was not as open as the other facility. It looked clean, but the building itself was very dark on the inside. It was adequate, but they just didn't offer the variety of things that the other facility offer. The staff was friendly though.

The thing that I liked The Wellington at Arapaho was that they had an apartment, and then they also had meals also for their residents. They also had the assisted living attached to it. The only thing I didn’t like about that one was it was an older facility, and it had some funny smells in it, but other than that, it was a little bit too far away from me.

The Wellington at Arapaho is expensive. I looked at the rooms that were available. They change the carpet every time they change residents and paint the walls. After the interview, an older lady -- who I believe was the manager -- came in, I told her that I had several other places to look at and that I would get back with her if I decided on it, and she said, "Why'd you be back?" It was very condescending. It just wasn't as good an atmosphere, and it didn't seem that they were as interested in the residents as they should be. They weren't personable.

I chose the Wellington because of the price and what they offered. Everything is fine except that the food gets a little bland. I have plenty of room here. The staff is very good, everyone is so friendly. Their activity directory is one of the best.

The Wellington at Arapaho is just amazing. You would never know it's a 10-year old facility because it looks brand new. My mom is not staying there yet and we just moved furniture yesterday. But based on what we've seen, it's all positive. The residents seem so happy. It's nice, clean and neat. The grounds and everything else are pristine. We also like the friendliness of the people and what they offer for the menus. It's just fantastic. They are wonderful.
