My mom is at Evergreen at Plano. She has been there for three years now. It seems like a nice place. She loves it. She loves her apartment. The people are nice. She enjoys it there. She has met a lot of nice people. They seem to have a lot going on. It's convenient for me. The staff is kind of another story, they seem to overturn quite often. They've got all new staff in there, so I don't know anybody that's in there now. They do turn their staff over very quickly it seems, sadly, but that does happen. They have a lot of games, they have the bingo, and they have different card games and stuff that you can play. There seem to be a lot of different activities that she can go to, although she doesn't go, but I'm hoping she will. It's the cheapest one we could find that is good. Everything is just getting so expensive. So I would say it's a good value for what you get. My mom got a two-bedroom apartment. The apartment is nice. It's got an elevator in the facility because she is on the fourth floor.

I'm very happy with Evergreen at Plano. Everything is kept up beautifully, including the lawn. Maintenance is wonderful. I have a big apartment and I'm very pleased with it. The staff is very nice, professional, and helpful. There's chair yoga three times a week, card games, you can get lunches brought in five days a week if you want to purchase lunch, and in the summer they have water aerobics in the saltwater pool.

Evergreen at Plano is wonderful. The people who live here are great. The apartments are roomy and well maintained. The value is very good. It is an affordable place for seniors. I'm paying $7 more a month for a two-bedroom, two-bath than I would for a regular one-bedroom, one-bath out in the real world. The staff is wonderful too. If you have a problem, they take care of it very quickly. They have Wii bowling, yoga, aerobics, card games, and birthday parties.

Evergreen at Plano was really lovely. There is a waiting list, but we are going to apply there. They did not have any open rooms at that point; they were all occupied, so I was not able to see them, but I saw the floor plans. They have something going on almost all of the time. Every day, they have planned activities like games, Bible studies, and things like that. The staff was really helpful. You could ask any question you wanted, and the appearance of it was just really impressive.

We are living here at Evergreen at Plano Parkway which is considered independent living. The only problems are that they don't serve meals, do any housekeeping or laundry. I'm doing all of those things. We have our own washer and dryer in our apartment which is a two-bedroom and two-bathroom apartment. They are very nice and we like them in every way, except, they don't cater to people who need help. I guess that is the independent thing.

As a caregiver, I had a client that lived at thid facilty. The staff was friendly and welcomed me when I arrived. I was asked to sign in at the front desk so the staff does keep track of who comes in and out of this facility. The furnishings in the common areas are very lavish and very stylish. The apartment that I my client lived in was a two bedroom and was handicaped equpment. For example, the kitchen ent rance way was large enough for a wheelchair to get through, the countertops and stove were low enough to be able to use while seated. The shower was enough to have a shower chair and the bedroom and living areas were spacious. There is covered parking for the residents and it is a gated community; however, there is no a lot of visitor parking available. One last comment is that there are of course elevators to each floor of the apartments, but the walkways to the apartments are not carpeted just bare cement so this could be an issue if someone is using a walker or has trouble walking. Overall, I think that is place is a good facility to have your loved one live in because the staff does really care about their residents.
