Our experiences with Raider Ranch have been very good. Mom has always been in the independent living and that's where she still is. They pay attention to her. They check on her at mealtime three times a day. They have a dining room or you can have your meals delivered to your room, which we like. Before she got so sick, she took advantage of each of those. She would go down to the dining room sometimes, and then other times she had her food delivered, and the food was quite good. They have three buildings and they have an activity room and a gym in each one and a living room with a big screen TV. They have a swimming pool and some walking paths outdoors. They have activities every day but she was not taking part in very many of those. They have bingo, bunco, and other card games that they play down in the living room a lot. She preferred to read in her room or watch a movie or something like that.

My mom lives at Raider Ranch. It's very nice. They have really nice facilities and really nice apartments. My mom has a two-bedroom, and she has a kitchen, and that gives me room to go and visit her and stay for a while because I don't live in the same town. They have a variety of food. Each day they have a different menu and good meals. They have different activities. They have a pool for exercise or volleyball in the pool. On Friday they have what they call happy hour where they have music come in. They all enjoy that, the music and dancing. It's a really nice place.

I toured Raider Ranch. I was not impressed. The meals were not good at all, and the upper management was just totally indifferent. They've got lots of amenities, but they're basically all run down. They've got swimming pools that they don't keep clean or don't maintain. They've got a happy hour that you're not very happy with. Their meals are pretty bad. The staff is very nice. I was impressed with the dining room staff, but their cooks were not good at all. Most of the staff were a five, except the cooks, which were a one.

Raider Ranch was lovely. It was clean, luxurious, friendly, and well-organized. We sat down and talked for just a short period and then went to view the available room. We came back and had lunch so the tour was great. The food and the dining area were really good. You get $400 a month, kind of like a stipend/a credit. At $10 a meal, it doesn't take long to go through that, so your other meals are extra and you've got to be prepared for the extras there. The staff was good. They were very accommodating. We saw places where people could gather and play games and cards or have a movie night with popcorn. However, you have to walk a quarter of a mile to get to your room, and that's a long way for someone who is using a walker to walk.

Raider Ranch is an extremely active and wonderful community. It is really a great facility. They cater mostly to independents, but they will keep them there through assisted, and they didn't have a facility for hospice. They have assisted living, but they'd like to get their residents when they're independent. They have a courtyard. They have an indoor and an outdoor pool. They have a yoga room, a library, and a fitness center. They also have activity arts and crafts room, a beautiful gathering area, a beautiful lunch area, and they have walking trails outside. They treated me to lunch there. I just had the macaroni and cheese and a roll, but they were both really good.

Raider Ranch was excellent. We've had experiences with them. My in-laws lived there for several years, so we knew what to expect, but it was just out of our budget. It was good. The staff was excellent. The residents were welcoming as well. The room was superb, but overall it was just out of the price range, so it was marked off the list. The room that we were focused on was just a single-bedroom apartment, and that's what it is. It's an apartment, and it's got all the accommodations for a washer, dryer, and a full kitchen. My dad is alone, so he is used to having meals either brought to him or he go out to eat. He's also used to having his laundry done, so paying the extra amount of money to have full apartment amenities as far as the kitchen and washer /dryer just made it out of his range. It is just a matter of being able to afford to live there.

Raider Ranch was very well manicured, and the grounds were very nice. The young lady was extremely nice and friendly, but the rooms were very dark. It was a one-bedroom, but that's not what we were looking for because they didn't have many rooms to choose from since they were full (which is a good thing). There's only one dining area, and to me, it seemed so small and was crowded. The amenities they had were a weightlifting room, a swimming pool, another workout room, and places to play cards and gatherings. So, they had several things that they could choose from. You could work on puzzles in a room, you could reserve a room if you wanted to have a bunch of people come over and play cards, places you could walk, and a nice porch area if you want to just sit outside. I think they have dances every Friday night or at least every other Friday night too and watch parties for sporting events. You could sign up for a bus and go somewhere in the city for a group activity or a sporting event, or to a doctor's appointment if need be. They had a lot of choices that were very nice. The front desk did something that was really cool. I thought they had our names in a sign that said 'Welcome for your tour.", then they immediately offered us something to drink. We only met two people from the staff but they were very friendly. They had the facility updated recently and there were some areas that the halls were nice and wide.

I visited Raider Ranch in Lubbock, and the tour was very good. The staff was very good. The facility was excellent, and the rooms were very nice. It's a resort-type facility. They have a dining room, indoor and outdoor pool, a hot tub, a gym, outings, activities, and pretty much anything you want. They have games, crafts, puzzles, exercise classes, movies, and a library. It's easily accessible, and it's a good place.

I like Raider Ranch. I toured it in person. It's nice large areas especially with Covid, you don't want to be too close to anybody. I like all the activities that they have every day and the onsite people. Activities are water volleyball, water aerobics, and chair yoga. They have a lot of puzzles, libraries, and a weight room. Everybody was still wearing masks except for the people that were living there. Everybody has had their shots. They were one of the first ones when they got the shots. I only met two staff members, but they were nice. They gave me the menu to look at. Every day is a different type of meal, but then they have like four that are constant on the menu. I know of the chef from one of my ex-coworkers, so I know he's a very good chef.

Raider Ranch is a beautiful facility, but my dad has been sent a lot of packages and cards that he is not able to receive, even though they have the correct address on them. The staff members just walk into his unit unannounced and they claim they knocked first. They could be more aware of who their residents are and where the residents are. He participates in zero of the amenities, and it's very expensive. There are three pools, activities, and a dining area, and it's a very nice facility. I'd like to live there. What they offer for the price is great.

I have been part of Raider Ranch Villas for exactly 11 months. I want to thank whoever is in charge of the office personnel. I have been lucky enough to have been exposed to each and everyone who is in management. They are a huge part of what makes Raider Ranch so special and each one although different individuals are a great team player. Your management is awesome and all are above the normal cut and I appreciate what they represent and how hard they work at trying to help all of us at Raider Ranch. I have basically been in management for over 50 years and I know how hard it is to get everyone on the same page and I am impressed with their attitude a great deal.

Raider Ranch is what we want for mom. The staff was very professional. Everything was top notch. The apartments were very nice, well kept, and looked good. The feedback from other people was good. They had different programs for different patients. The location was in a good part of town three blocks from my house.

Raider Ranch was a nice place with a lot of activities, like swimming and water aerobics. They had an exercise room and provided three meals a day. Vanessa showed us around and our room. We're moving into a brand-new facility which has just opened up with really nice homes in the independent living and assisted living, too. They have a big clubhouse and a new addition that they call The Bridge, which is where we're going. The Bridge is assisted living if you need it. You wear a call button around your neck and press it if you need help 24/7. We had a nice meal there, and everybody was nice and friendly.

I like Raider Ranch because it is a very active community. It has many levels of care. I could park my car there, and bring in my three dogs; but I cannot afford this facility.

I have already settled in Raider Ranch, and I've been here almost a year. My overall experience has been very good. I have an apartment, and it is beautiful. The staff is very caring. They serve our food, but I can cook if I want to. We have recreational activities everyday like strength and balance, water volleyball, movies, and wifi bowling; they got a lot of stuff.

This facility is very new and doesn't show any signs of wear and tear yet. I was very impressed with how modern the amenities are in each unit. The staff seems only adequate and I hear from my grandparents that some things have gone missing before. Visitors are welcome at meals, which are small but adequately prepared. The one downside of eating there is how long it takes. On multiple occasions we have spent in excess of 1.5 hrs at a very simple one-course lunch. The facility offers several levels of assistance include memory care. In the memory care portion of the facility, there is constant monitoring from very caring professionals. I would recommend this facility to those that can afford it.
