My mother's health declined and was hospitalized just a few hours before she was scheduled to move in. She passed away but I think she would have really liked The Legacy. Amy gave a very informative and thorough presentation of The Legacy. I had been looking at another facility but they wanted to perform a Zoom interview with my mother and me. She was at a rehab facility and the nurse from the other facility did not want to visit since there were 5 cases of covid. Renee was willing to visit the rehab facility that afternoon--fully aware of the covid hall at the rehab facility. While there she assisted my mother in the restroom, helped her eat, viewed her limitations and abilities, and talked face-to-face with us so she was fully aware of the care mom would require. Renee was helpful during my decisions and answered many phone calls and multiple visits. While setting the apartment up and moving everything in, numerous staff stopped in the room to meet us, offered to help however they could, and were anxious to have mom as a resident. While mom was in the hospital and after mom passed away, Renee called and texted me several times to check on mom and to check on me. During the move out process, Melanie was very attentive to our situation and was available for communication and assistance. Since mom would not have been able to return to her house, I think The Legacy would have been the next best thing and the best place for her to receive the attention to her state of health and state of mind. I was very lucky to have them for support during mom's last days--it eased a lot of my anxiety.

I was very impressed with The Legacy at South Plains. The staff was wonderful. We took an entire tour and saw the menus. They had a cafe, bars, and entertainment. Just a lot of positive things. They were doing physical therapy/exercise in one of the gyms we went to, and residents were very willing and open to let us view their residence where they lived. Everyone was very positive about the living experience there. If it was my choice, that would be the first choice that I would go to.

We toured The Legacy at South Plains. We were impressed by the quality of the structure and the presentation by the person. We were impressed with their complete control of the memory care portion and the magnetic doors that they have to keep those people together. It's really set up well for memory care. That's probably the main part of what we're like. They showed us apartments because one of us needs memory care, and the other needs to live independently. We looked at a studio room for probably both situations. They are separate situations and separate dining areas there. There still is a separateness of the two units. I'm certain we will have to bring our washer and dryer, but they supply refrigerators. Our feeling about each is very good, so that's one we have looked at. They had cornhole, dominoes, and cards and whatever. They also offered a putting area for golfers, and those were outdoors.

While looking for a place for my parents, we toured the Legacy at South Plains. It is a absolutely beautiful community. Feels like a nice hotel vs a nursing home. My mother is very picky and said the potato soup was delicious. That was a surprise. They seem to have very friendly staff. I am hoping my parents pick the legacy as their next home.

I went to The Legacy at South Plains. I felt the tour was hurried, but it was good. The staff was nice. The rooms were nice. It's like a little efficiency, but what's nice was the little kitchenette. They have a refrigerator in there. They have basic cable in the rooms. They allow cellphones and that's a very big positive to me because the other place did not allow cellphones. My brother gets to keep his cellphone. They have wi-fi, and they have cable. He'll have a little refrigerator where he can keep drinks in his room. He can keep snacks in there if he wanted. The memory care facility was much smaller than the other place. Just one little wing of the floor is the memory care. The main dining room where the assisted living people eat had tablecloths, and it was real nice. In the memory care at The Legacy, I didn't see any tablecloths or fancy stuff in the dining room. We saw some people playing volleyball balloon. The residents didn't seem to be interacting or talking much, but the facility was beautiful. I love the fact that they had cable. They can use cellphones. There's fridge in the room, and the bathrooms in the rooms were private, quite large, and nice. A big plus is (even the staff) everybody wears these little watches, and it totally tracks where everybody is at any moment. Whether you're memory care, whether you're staff, whether you're assisted living, they can find you. If you happen to leave your area, they can find where you are real quickly because they have these tracking watches. If somehow somebody from memory care happened to get out and escape, they would be able to track them and know that they had walked out the door.

We were incredibly impressed with The Legacy. From their safety throughout the tour process to the personal visits we received from their marketer, Amy. Staff were all so incredibly friendly. We even got to sample some of their chefs food once we left. Absolutely delicious! Daddy will definitely be going here once he is done at rehab! It feels like home and we are excited for him to get to experience life at The Legacy.

The Legacy at South Plains was great. It seemed brand new. The people were very friendly. The place was very clean. The staff member who showed me around was very knowledgeable and informative. There was no pressure. The place was beautiful and professionally decorated. They have a barbershop, a family room which is very nice, a game room, and they go on outings. The dining room opens toward the front of the building. The people were being served restaurant-style when I visited, which was very nice.

The Legacy at South Plains was very nice, but they only had a room with a little kitchenette. They didn't have separate bedrooms. The staff was very nice. We were there on a Saturday afternoon. We went in there, and they were very congenial. The residents were playing a game at that time, and they had the exercise room open. There's quite a bit going on. The dining area was very nice. Everything was clean. Their menu looked very good.

The staff at The Legacy at South Plains was excellent and very nice. They offered to feed us, but we didn't eat there. The facilities were extremely nice. The rooms were nice, but they were small. I liked it very much.

The area I visited at The Legacy at South Plains was for people that have dementia. They have cameras in all the common areas and everything looked great. The staff was very friendly, very understanding, and accommodating. The rooms had a refrigerator, a microwave, and a partial kitchen. They were nice and big. They're not furnished, and they don't put two people in a room, which is good.

We had a very good tour at The Legacy at South Plains. The meal we ate was excellent and the facility seemed really good. Most of the rooms were small, but it's a smaller facility. The staff was friendly and attentive. They have an exercise room, which seems like it would be useful. They have enough room for physical therapy. They also have a movie room.

The Legacy at South Plains is a new community with very nice facilities. It's great for my father. We really like it. The tour was very helpful. They allow you to bring in all your own things, and you're not forced to use their furniture. They have several different rooms and several different setups to choose from. The rooms were wonderful. We ate in their cafeteria, and the food was very good.
