I haved lived at Trinity Courtyards for two yearss and just renewed for two more years. I have been completely satisfied with the material things that it provides such as planned actives ( the dinners, games, movies, transportaion, monthly information publication) but especially for the kindness and thoughtfulness of the rersidents that made me feel welcome. The staff have been very prompt to meet any need that arose. I have not regretted a single day of my new home.

Dangerous furniture. In one month, Five people have sat in new chairs that have collapsed. I was one of the five. I hit my head on the wall while chair was collapsing. Chloe at least called for EMS, who took me to ED for a Head CT. Thank goodness there was no brain bleed. Aviva office staff did not even bother to follow up to see how I am doing. They do not intend to replace the dangerous chairs. They put out a note to residents to be sure to not wiggle around!!! In the chairs. I guess they think that the note covers their liability for these foreseen dangers. NOT. Torts 101 says otherwise. One of the maintenance persons was so kind to ask if I am doing ok. He deserves a gold star for this kindness. These office staffers are young and do NOT understand nor want to understand the needs of seniors. You must be 55up to live here. We need management that cares about seniors. Aviva is part of GREYSTAR which has an abysmal rating as a management company. High staff turnover. Three property sales since I have lived here. Two major indoor floods from unwrapped overhead pipes. Slow response to many obvious defects “ we don’t have time for everything” so, chronic problems don’t get fixed. They need more maintenance people. The two persons here now are wonderful I just hope they don’t run them off from overwork. They need more. Greystar cut all of the staff on day one. There are not enough humans to man the phones or the front desk. What I like about Aviva: my fellow residents. We have to stick together to get anything done. We paid for and made our own directory, after yuppy management said they would not do that. They refuse to give birthday balloons to residents, even tho they have a helium tank and balloons. The former owners did these things. Greystar says they don’t have time. BECAUSE THERE ARE TOO FEW OFFICE STAFF. The old owners knew how to treat seniors. Greystar doesn’t want to know, and doesn’t care. They are all about lipsticking the pig, and I can imagine that there might be yet another sale when the lipstick is fully applied. I like the indoor secured hallway. Don’t come here unless you like hearing old people talk about Greystar’s lack of humanity toward seniors.

My mom will be moving into Aviva Fort Worth. The staff was very friendly. The apartment was well-maintained. It was secured. They offered a lot of activities. The woman who did the tour with us spent a lot of time with us and answered all of our questions. We toured two times. She was very patient and showed us multiple things, sometimes the same thing over and over, till we could make a decision, set us all down, and helped us make decisions. They don't serve food.

AVIVA Forth Worth is not quite as new, but the one thing that I was impressed with is how active the residents were and how involved they were with each other. You could see that they really enjoyed being together. They have a pool, a beautiful courtyard, and covered parking, which was nice for me. They had nice rooms; it's clean and didn't stink. This one was nice, even though it was older. What I liked about them is the fact that the residents really liked to decorate the hallway around their apartment. When you walk down the halls, you get the feel of all the different personalities of the people living there; it was just kind of fun. I only met the salesperson. Even though the facility is older, they do a good job.

I toured the Trinity Courtyard. It was expensive for my budget. I liked the activities, they have it on a monthly calendar. The apartment itself was very, very nice, roomy, beautiful, really. Excellent staff. The room was clean. It was spacious. They have a beauty shop, a pool, they have a refrigerator, a nice kitchen, everything. They had a pet park. They had a little putting green out in the yard. They have card games because some people were playing cards or doing something, and I'm sure it's the usual bingo and things like that.

I toured Trinity Courtyard, the general appearance is fine, and probably everything is fine, but I just don't feel that I'm to the point where I ought to be in an area like that. The staff was very nice and very helpful. Everybody has their own meals, they do potlucks, but they do not actually do meals there. They have exercises, a computer room, library, and a family room, but it's not what I want. I did not really observe any activities, and nothing seemed to be going on while I was there.

Trinity Courtyard has a really nice lobby, and it has a courtyard in the middle with a big pool and fountain at the side. It had an area to walk around and a really big grassy area in the outdoors. When you first go in, it’s got a balcony and a staircase. It was decorated really nice with Victorian chairs; it was luxurious, but the price was not too bad. It was more apartment like complex. As far as a retirement place, it looked really nice, and the apartments were really large. We looked at a 2-bedroom, and it had a step-in shower.

Trinity Courtyard was pretty nice but a bit too far away. It was an excellent, attractive, large, and nice facility. They're very friendly. They had a pool and a billiards room. It was really nice. The lady was fine, but she's probably new, and it wasn't her job to do tours. She was just stepping in, but she was a very nice lady.

Trinity Courtyard is a nice place. It has a lovely dining area, but they do not serve meals. It's like living in an apartment. I could see no one interacting with anyone else when I went over there. It's just not what I wanted.
