The things I like the most about The Vantage at Cityview are the huge number of activities that they have. They always have field trips, and there are lots of group meetings that cover a variety of interests. Another thing I love here is that the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. I can't say enough good things about them. I've had a wonderful experience here. We have a housekeeper who comes in every other week and does the cleaning of our apartment. We have wonderful maintenance men who keep everything in tip-top shape. If you need anything from a light bulb to some touch-up paint to whatever, they come in and take care of that. We have a wonderful dining room and a wonderful chef. So the food is really good. We have a guy who's in charge of activities, and he arranges field trips and all kinds of different things. He's wonderful. We have an exercise class every day that's taught by a professional. We have yoga every day, and then there are things like book clubs that meet, and there are storytellers clubs. There's all kinds, just every interest you can think of, and all kinds of art things.

I like The Vantage at Cityview. It looked like they had lots of activities. My dad's wife seems to be very excited about it, and my dad likes it. It's close to her doctors and where they live right now. I think that's the primary reason. The lady seemed nice. And my dad's wife is excited because she can smoke there, but not inside. Everybody was extremely nice, too.

The food in this facility is not the best. However the wait staff is. They work hard and are always pleasant to the residents. The best one by far is Rolisha, a hard-working single mother who is always smiling and ready to please.

My mother-in-law will be moving into The Vantage at CityView. We loved the atmosphere. It was sunny and bright. The apartment was incredible. It's a place I would want to live myself. It's very beautiful. It has a washer and dryer in the apartment and it has a balcony. It's just very, very nice, very much like an upscale apartment. The amenities there are tremendous. There are two dining rooms and the smaller one is down the hall from my mother-in-law's new apartment, so it's very convenient. They have a menu that you can short order. She goes to dialysis three times a week and when she gets back, she needs food to eat, and they have a menu that they will cook and hand you right there when you get back, even if it's not within dining hours and they will deliver it to your room if you're sick. They also have a linen service where they will wash your clothes if you need that. It also steps up to assisted and memory care if needed. I thought the community was the best I've seen and we were very, very pleased to be able to get an apartment there. They lowered the price enough that my mother-in-law was able to move in there for less money than she is spending at the other place. The food smelled great, but we didn't try it. It's the only other facility that offers the level of services that my mother-in-law needs. This was the very best situation that we could find. We had viewed several places and this was the nicest, and it still is.

At The Vantage At City View, we liked the personal care there. We liked the food. We liked the personal touch of the staff. Staff is very caring and very good, without being intrusive. The staff that took us around was very knowledgeable. She was the head of Sales. She invited us back to experience a staff-led discussion or game. She actually found two times to take us around because we couldn't finish it all in one time. We had a meal there. It was very good. They have an outdoor pool. There aren't washers and dryers in the rooms of the apartments. They had appliances. They had air conditioning. They had a stove and a small, but adequate refrigerator. There was a dishwasher and a garbage disposal.

I'm at The Vantage at Cityview. I had friends that also lived here. So far, it's been excellent. I like the available apartments. I like that the flooring is not carpet. It's a heavy-duty wood-looking vinyl. The people here are friendly. The employees are excellent. The activities are fun. I like that I can have my dog. My dog is a medium size and some places wouldn't take her, but she was welcomed here. One of the main things that I liked is they gave me a two-year guarantee on my rent. For two years, there will be no change.

My grandmother moved into The Vantage at CityView. After visiting about six facilities, this is the only one that could take full care of my grandmother. She has dementia, so we needed a locked unit. She also has diabetes, so we needed someone that could give her an insulin shot seven days a week. She also has dialysis, so she has to be transported there three times a week. This was the only facility that was able to meet all three of those needs. They also had a staff that was just superb. When you have the executive director's direct cell phone number and be able to text them any time, it gives you a lot of comfort knowing you have that direct connection with them. I thought the only thing that would be better is if they were able to have more staff. The food is delicious. They get two options every day as well as having some stuff on the basic menu. If they want a hamburger, or pizza, or something like that, that's on the menu every day. The meals that they have, the taste is better than cafeteria food. It's like every hour and a half, they have a different activity. They can change up and have their guests staying there be involved if they wanted to.

I WOULD NOT recommend anyone stay on the 4th floor of the Memory Care unit. Staff is lazy and unresponsive. My family member had fallen numerous times even though the staff knew resident could not walk without assistance and had balancing issues. Unable to go to bathroom without assistance and the response to solve this was to put 2 pullups on resident. Not bathed regularly and had to be asked (several times) to brush her teeth. The resident is now in the hospital undergoing hip surgery and physical therapy as a result of a fall while in the care of Vantage.

Staff is very caring and responsive from management to care workers. There are many activities that my Mom participates in and enjoys. The property is very well maintained and beautifully decorated…with seasonal changes which is nice. Safety has been a priority since the beginning of the pandemic to now and navigating the risk as it continues. It is a good value as well.

The staff are great to mom, there are quite a lot of activities to attend that she enjoys (thankfully - there was nothing during pandemic and that was very hard). She if happy with the food in the cafeteria for the most part. Ashley is very helpful, sweet and caring, Kathleen is super sweet and helpful, Julie is also special.

My mom lives here and overall they do a great job. It's clean, beautiful, well managed, safe, secure, and friendly. Her apartment is really modern, roomy, and homey. Some days she doesn't like the food, but they recently put out comment cards to fine tune it.

I changed my review from 5 stars to 2, after contacting corporate and got NO response. The food has gone really, really bad. It improved for a while last year while an executive from corporate worked there, then went down to worse than ever. The residents ALL complain about it to each other, but are sadly too intimidated to complain to the cook and management. And the management takes advantage of their intimidation. What do seniors have to look forward to as much as a tasty meal? Well, not here they don't. When I visit mom end of September I'll take her and her friends to check out better homes for them. They deserve to get what they're paying for, and here they no longer care. Don't move in here.

We've been to The Vantage at CityView. The place was good. The tour was very good. The lady who showed us around was very professional and did a nice job, showed us some units, and spent plenty of time with us. They had different room sizes and three different floor plans. They had excellent views and plenty of parking. They had a lot of outside space to take a walk. They were on a few acres overall. They had a dog park and a lot of things that are important for us. They take small pets. My mother-in-law has one, and that was kind of a criteria that we were looking for. It was a pretty good layout.

The Vantage at CityView was clean and all the attendants were very well-manned and very helpful. They sat us down for lunch and I got to look at the room that we were interested in. We got to talk to the nice people who work there, they were all very helpful to me going in there. It was very straightforward, they told me exactly what they do and those kinds of things. I even talked to some of the residents there who really like the place, and they even moved to The Vantage from other places and that this one is the nicest place. When I got there, the residents were just coming back from their Walmart and Target run, because those are the closest shopping facilities near them. They actually allow the residents to leave. They all wear the emergency bracelets but they're not any good when you're outside the community. So the residents would check those bracelets in when they're leaving and when they come in, they pick the bracelets back up when they're back. It all seems very efficient and they're very good. The food was excellent, it wasn't perfect but it was very good and the dining area was very clean.

The Vantage was a good place. I had no problems with it, but it was huge, and I didn't like the long walks to get around the building. The layout was complicated, I thought the hallways were narrow. I saw the activities and facilities, and met the nursing staff. It would have been my second choice. The pricing was very competitive.

My mother is a resident of The Vantage at Cityview. It's top notch, and we couldn't be happier with the service, food, quality of care, and everything. The staff members and management are very friendly, helpful, easily approachable, and eager to please. It's a very nice place with more amenities than what most people would need. The pricing is comparable with the other places we've looked at. I've eaten there several times, and the food was fine. Everybody approached us to introduce themselves, and it looked like they enjoyed being there.

The staff at The Vantage is very attentive to the client, who are very well taken care of. There’s a lot of activities going on. They have nice meal options. Mom participates in bingo, happy hour, and exercises. There’s something for everybody, including a movie theater. The apartments are spacious and large enough to accommodate a walker or a wheelchair. I think it’s the best quality for what we were looking and a very lovely place.

My sister is at The Vantage and doesn't like it there. They aren't organized, and I'm not pleased. The room is too small for her; she thought she was in a hospital. It might have been OK for other people.

Vantage impressed us. It was really big, new, mordern, pretty, and had a lot to do. It was probably the best looking place that we visited out of six. The reason I give them a 4 is because you are in town, not outside. They had a little outdoor area, but I don’t like being in the city. The place had transportation to where you want to go. They had a library, a fitness center, a meeting place, and a swimming pool.

The environment at The Vantage at Cityview felt too cold. There was no warmth and a total lack of friendliness. There weren’t too many residents out. The place and the amenities may have been great, but I couldn’t see putting Mom there since I did not see the caring people. As far as rooms and amenities are concerned, the place was excellent. We walked through the dining area, and it was like walking through an empty building, but everything looked nice.

The Vantage at CityView was a lot larger facility with long dark hallways. The assisted part was in a separate building, and it seemed empty actually. The main part was pretty full with lots of people. It is more geared toward independent living. They seemed to have lots of activities. The rooms were more like apartment rooms. It was clean and organized, and the people were friendly.

I visited The Vantage at Cityview, and it was way far south from where I really wanted to be. There was no furniture in the memory care unit; you would have to furnish it, and that was a bit of a problem. The independent living apartments were quite small.

The Vantage at Cityview is very nice and updated. They’re very clean and very neat. The staff is welcoming and went out of their way to welcome us. My mother loves the dining setu, the chair exercises, the library, and playing cards and dominos.

The Vantage at Cityview was welcoming, clean, and felt like a home. The people that worked there were very nice. It was open, had a lot of visually appealing places, and was affordable. They had a fee that covers everything, and you don't have to figure out what services you’re needing that month or not. It's not really complicated. They had an open kitchen plan, so you could see the people who were prepping the food, so that's more like in a home where you would be hanging out in the living room and somebody would be cooking in the kitchen; it felt very friendly that way. They had music therapy, movements, things that people could do, and exercise. They had a really nice outside space where you can see pretty far, but it's also well protected from wind and everything.

I'm in Vantage, and it's phenomenal, beautiful, and clean. The atmosphere, the people, and the apartments are all fine and wonderful. The staff help me in every way they could possibly help. The people I have met are great, and I plan on being here for a while. The food is fine. I can't think of anything that they could do any better.

The Vantage at CityView has been good for my mother. The upkeep is good, there are a lot of activities, and the food has been good at times. She goes to several exercise classes and likes to go to the movies in the little theater room. She seems very happy there.

The Vantage was a little bit outdated of a building. The independent living facilities were apartment complex types with small patios. They had a great view from the patio, but the interior was outdated. The lady who I talked to was extremely friendly, helpful, took her time taking me on a tour, and answered many questions. The staff was very helpful. It is independent-living, assisted-living, and they had a brand new memory unit that was not quite open yet. It's a nice place.

My parents have lived there for several years. For the most part it is good. They've had a lot of problems with the food being way to salty and slow service in dining room. Although they are open for three meals daily your rent only includes two. You have to pay extra for third meal. Maintenance seems to be slow at getting things done. (not enough staff?) They have a bus to take you places but only on specific days. Rent is too high compared to other places. Constantly raising rent.

Vantage at Cityview is very nice, smaller, and quiet. I ate a meal there, and the food was very good. I think they had a pool, transportation, and a lot of activities. The manager was very nice and friendly, and they answered all the questions. The residents seemed very happy and content.

The Vantage seemed to be pleasant and well lit. It's a nice place, but a little bit high priced. It suits the needs of a lot of seniors. They got a good activities director, and they provide a lot of activities that people partake in. It has got a bus service to take them to doctors' appointments and outings.

The Vantage is where my aunt is going to move to. She likes that one because of the meals. She can't have salt, and they don't have a lot of salt in their food. Also, they have their own system set up, like LifeAlert. They have housekeeping, and there is someone there 24/7 to monitor them. The apartment is immaculate. The whole area is clean. The people are very nice. They are very caring people.

I like the Vantage. It has everything; it’s a cruise ship on land. Everything they offer is awesome. The place is bright and the people are happy, and that’s the number one thing I checked. The kitchens are nice and big: they’ve got two bedrooms, the larger units have nice large closets, and they have balconies. The staff is awesome. They have a lot of activities from exercising, therapy, Bingo, and a lot of things planned. There is a large TV showing the activities for the week or month, so you can check it if there is something available.

this place is horrible to say the least! Going up on rent constantly, rule after rule, dining experience is unacceptable -2 hours to eat!
