The rooms are spacious clean and modern appearing. The staff are friendly ,accommodating and communicative. The diet has been well prepared for my cousin who requires a special diet. The cost is reasonable for his level of care and they have been receptive to our medical needs ands orders . I recommend the place for anyone needing assisted care in the West Columbia area.

We liked The Pines at Columbia Assisted Living, because of its location, price, and it just looked fantastic. It's like a home. It'd be where I'd live myself. The atmosphere was very, very nice. I was very impressed. Cleanliness was top-notch. They have nursing care on duty 24/7, and they also go out and do things.

I toured The Pines at Columbia Assisted Living Community. When you walked in the door, everything was very nicely done and nicely furnished. The lady that I spoke with and continue to speak with is very professional, very compassionate, and just super nice. She's even willing to help me right now, even though she doesn't even know if my mom will be coming there. So, I like them and I felt like their entry level price coming in was reasonable. It is a two-story facility. There was a gentleman in his wheelchair coming down the hallway, and the staff member I was with greeted him, and he greeted her with a hug. So, that just seemed nice. I saw their community room that was up on the second floor and it was nice, big, and open. When I finished with the tour and went back to the lady's office, they had baked a pie in a box with their logo on it; it was wrapped in ribbon. That's what they gave me for coming in that day, and I thought that was very sweet.

We visited Lexington Place for my mother-in-law. We had a great tour. The person who carried us around, I can't remember her name, was very nice, very thorough, and answered all our questions. She showed us several different sizes of the one-bedroom. I remember they had game areas, they had common areas, and we saw the cafeteria and the menus. We saw the activity board. They have ice cream socials weekly, plus it was bright and clean.

I toured Lexington Place It seemed cramped. It was pretty nice, and it was very clean; but it just didn't have the sense of openness. They have a smaller space. The one who toured me during my visit was sharp.

I took a tour of Lexington Place . It's very nice. It was clean, real classy, and they had a very huge dining room. The staff was very nice. I saw the food, but didn't try it. It was clean outside, they had tables, and they could sit in the shade, and the landscaping was really nice. They had a beauty shop and a barber shop. It was ten minutes to my father's place, and right next to the hospital. The rooms are very big. I did not see the back of it, but I know the front of it, they have a little patio there. It was private pay and very expensive.

My dad has not gone to Lexington Place yet although we already paid from April 23 to the whole of May. He had a stroke and that set things back a little bit. I was able to visit Lexington Place. It is very nice, it's spacious, and there is no nursing home kind of smell, as far as urine smell or anything like that, there's no medicinal smell at all. You walk in and you feel like you're walking into your home. Polly has just been a tremendous help to me. She's gone over and above what her job description asks for. She's been very helpful to me on so many levels, including a personal level. I haven't seen anyone eating the food, although they do have two dining rooms. I looked at the menu every time I walked in. One night, they had Lobster Newburg and a puff pastry, it just really sounds nice. I haven't seen anything that didn't sound good or look good or anything. They seem to have a variety of things to have for breakfast, including fresh fruit all the time. They also have an ice cream bar that has ice cream 24 hours a day, and it looks like a little ice cream store. It's very easy to navigate.

Lexington Place was excellent. My husband would like to go there, and it sounded like it would be a good fit. When he found that it's in his price range, he's very happy about being able to possibly go there, but it depends on how things go and if they have availability at that point because they were pretty full at the time we went. We went over and had lunch and talked to them at the time. We got to test the food that they serve and its excellent food. They showed us a model room. While we were going there, we met the staff that cleans. The place was immaculate. They had activities. We met the activity director there and we talked to the nurse while we were there. I think even the person that's overseeing the whole place, the manager, we met her as well. They were very professional. I told her I'd like to move in and I'm not joking. If and when I need a place like that, I certainly would like to. With Covid, they were restricting where we went. Even though I've had both of my shots at that time, my husband hadn't had a shot yet. They were being very cautious about taking us, and I understood that, so that was fine. They've got an activities calendar and there was quite a bit of stuff. The residents personally talked to my husband while they were having lunch in the dining room. It looked like there were a lot of people there. There were two stories, and there was an elevator and there were stairs for those that could do stairs. We opted to do the stairs because, with Covid, they try not to have everybody get in the elevator at one time. We have talked to the intake person on several occasions since then. They're pursuing us still. At this point, I can't say anything bad about them. They have a low sodium option every meal, and I even asked if it's possible to go back and have seconds because my husband is a big eater, and they said that wasn't a problem either. They had snacks available and an ice cream machine.

I was impressed with my tour at Lexington Place. I like the accommodations and the level of care. The staff who accommodated me during the tour was very professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. The cleanliness and maintenance appeared excellent and the facilities were very good. They had TV, some games, and outdoor spaces available for the residents. I saw their community space, the veteran's wall (which was of interest), the lunch room, the ice cream area, dining room, and a living room area. I also saw the bedrooms. They were very sufficient. The dining room seemed quite sufficient for the needs. We saw their garden. It was very lovely.

My dad is at Lexington Place right now. His personal transition has been tough, but in terms of the facility itself, they're fine, and attractively clean. They take COVID-19 extremely seriously, and the protocols for entering and exiting are very high. The staff seems extremely caring too, not only with the residents, but with the family members as well. They're extremely patient and tolerant of all our questions and concerns, especially when we had to enter his belongings. They pay attention to the tiniest of concerns. They also have courtyards so people can go outside. I also saw people playing bingo and putting puzzles together. We spoke with the activities director, and she was very nice, and very enthusiastic about her job. It was a very positive experience. I guess the only concern I had was its proximity to the highway, but my father is almost 100 years old, and I don't think he cares about it. So far it's an excellent place, and an excellent choice for us.

I was very pleased with Lexington Place. I was very impressed with the facility and what they had to offer. I spoke with the human resource person. I also spoke with the nurse and she was very helpful, giving me information about what they would do, how they would assist my mother, that was very helpful and they were very pleasant. The facilities were very comfortable and very homey, I was very impressed with that. The room was spacious enough for my mother.

Last May, my relative moved in. The staff’s attitudes are wonderful, and I’m very pleased with the staff’s service. The room that they showed me when I first got there was satisfying. There are many different sizes of rooms, so I chose a studio, and it is just fine. I’ve tried the food, and it is adequate. There are two dining areas that are very clean and comfortable. There are lots of social activities, too. They have inspirational visitors, movies, ice cream socials, dinner outings, bingo, arts and crafts, church services, physical therapy, and workout sessions. I would recommend them. What they could improve on is getting the working staff to be more attentive. The nurses and the administration are terrific, but the working staff could be more attentive.

My mother moved in. She was warmly received there, and we really like the room. The staff seems to be doing an excellent job. Everybody is very friendly and very caring. She has only been there a couple of weeks, but we are feeling very good about it.

It was nice, and I liked it. It was located close to a lot of different things. It was close to the hospital and to various activities. It just wasn't suited for what I needed for my father, but it would have been a very nice place to live. They had a lot of activities there. It was nice on the inside. It was a multi-story building, and was more like a very nice hotel. They seemed to be very clean and nice. I met some of the staff, and it was fine. It just was a little more closed in; the halls weren't quite as wide, which was what I liked about some of the other places, and that was one of the reasons why we didn't choose that one for him. But for someone else, that would probably be a very nice place.

My mom has been at this facility for a long time. There has always been a warm welcoming feeling and the staff has always been so helpful. We have welcomed some new team members recently and I most say that I really like where it is going. The new administrator is a young energetic guy that loves the residents. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone that needs good care.

The staff were helpful and they had more male residents than other places we visisted, which I liked. They also had more activities for them to do.

My aunt was treated with respect and dignity, the staff was very kind, and always kept us updated of even small changes in her health. Her room was comfortable and most importantly, she was as happy with her surroundings as anyone could expect.
