I liked Fairforest Grove Senior Living. When I walked inside, it was kind of bright and cheerful looking. It's very, very convenient, location-wise, to where I live. My sister has been there for over a week now. The staff was very welcoming to her. It was troubling to her when she first went in because she had been in the hospital, and then in a rehab facility after surgery for six weeks, so it was a big change for her. In terms of activities, so far, there have been a couple of musical things, and I've not been there to see them. They have a salon. They have an in-house physical therapy department, and she's able to see the doctor there. As far as activities, there is an activities director that plans the activities. She's happy with it. She's pleased.

Please don't let the initial appearance and pleasantness of the administration fool you. We feel like it was a bait and switch once our mother was a resident. There are a few aides who have some compassion and care for your loved one, but overall it's just a job for them. The real issue lies with the administration! No compassion, no empathy, no caring for your loved one. Thankfully we are out of there and will never have to go back.

We went into the memory care section of Fairforest Grove Senior Living and it was very nice. If it was within our budget, we would have liked for dad to be housed there. While we were there, they were doing group therapy where they were doing some type of rehabilitation. Then they had another group playing some games in the common area. Everyone that we came in contact with was very friendly and very professional. They greeted us and so we left with a good feeling.

Fairforest Grove Senior Living was a very nice and friendly place. The atmosphere was just something that I would like for my mom to be. I felt like I won't have to worry about her and the care she would receive, because of the friendly staff and its environment. I met all the staff. The person who did the tour introduced me to everyone. I even met some of the relatives that had been there visiting and everybody's been so friendly. They have a lot of activities for them to do every day. They take them outside to different places like the zoo or go shopping, and stuff like that. So, they're not just keeping them inside all the time. They always have something for them to do. They also have a nice courtyard that's close to a lake where she can sit down and watch the water and the ducks and stuff. I just loved their environment.

All the rooms have their own bathrooms. It's in a residential type area and there's a park, a pond, and a paved walking track behind so people can just take a go and walk. Their rooms are a good size and it's bigger than where my mom is now. I met the activities director, and the people that I met were friendly and knowledgeable. I also spoke to some of the residents who said they're happy there. I like their community because it's smaller, maybe just 50 residents.

It was very friendly and clean. It was not what I was expecting as far as the rooms because the room was altogether and was just one big room with a bathroom. It’s close to where we live, and it’s on a lake so as far as the location, it’s great. The lake has a path that walks all the way around it. The dining room looked very nice. Each week they change the menu. They have a standard if they want the same thing, but it looked like they had some good food choices. They were doing a game in the front lobby area with a group of residents.

I went and visited. It was very nice. The lady called us, and kept following up with me. She was very helpful, and very friendly. The rooms were very nice, and were excellent for my parents. The people working there were very nice. I saw them interacting with the other patients in the memory care section, and I thought they were very helpful to those people. The dining area was very nice.

It was a very nice and bright place with nice rooms. They had lots of activities and lots of music. However, it was too open to the public in the back. It had too much public access, so it was not the right place for us.

It had a very small area for the memory impaired. I wanted more room for my husband to roam and to be able to go outside. However, the people were very nice, and the lady who showed us around was very nice.

I visited some places and I would choose here for my mom. The facility and the staff are just excellent. I was not able to eat there but they gave me a delicious dessert. I like the menus that were posted.
