My son is now at Harmony at Columbia. It meets my son's needs. All of the people are very courteous and very friendly. They seem to care about our needs. Everybody that I've met there has been very nice, very friendly, very courteous, and very into my needs, even down to housekeeping. I didn't have any negative encounters at all. The facility overall is great. It's clean and safe. The rooms are a nice size for a person who doesn't need a lot of space. And I think the way they're situated is very good. Overall feeling, it looks nice. It's clean and pleasing to the eye. There are varied activities that are offered. My son has not tried out anything. But I know they have bingo, and he loves it and he's going to take part in that. They have different activities that seem to be adequate for the people. It's expensive, but for what they provide, they work with me on that. I like the staff. They're the ones that make everything work and meet your needs. It's not just the building, it's the people who run the business. As for dining, I like the way the area was set up. It has separate tables for someone who doesn't want to sit all together. The person can eat alone if they need to, and they can also share a table with others. It's set up nicely, and I like that.

I like the convenience of Harmony at Columbia to where we live now. However, it's right on a busy road. It's right alongside Clemson Road. As far as someone leaving the premises, I don't know the security there, but I just know that it's a busy road. It's convenient as far as people getting in and out, but I'm just thinking of the people that live there that if they got out, to sit outside for a while or whatever, it would be far. They only have like a small parking thing between them and the road. The staff was very nice. The facility was very nice and quiet. The dining area was nice. It was more like a cafe-type look.

Harmony at Columbia was a gorgeous place. The pricing was great, too. It's just so far away from the area where my friend wants to be, but that was gorgeous. My friend liked that. The apartment was so pretty. They had full kitchens in their apartments with the stove and everything, and all the appliances were included. They have outdoor spaces as well as walkways that go around the property, and it's a huge property. They had outdoor seating areas with a barbecue and a little fire pit thing. It was just so pretty. The staff who toured us was great. We enjoyed our time with him. He took all the time we needed to ask questions and to take us around. He was really good. We didn't see any food but the eating area, and looking at the menu, it was beautiful. I was impressed. The only thing with them is that they only offer one meal and a continental breakfast. I think that's why they have a full kitchen in your independent living.

I was very much impressed with Harmony at Columbia, and it was over the top. It was very impressive. The staff during the tour was a great guy. I enjoyed him. He laid out everything. He was very thorough and very tactful. He was a great person to take you on a tour. Every room we looked in was clean and fresh smelling. We liked the security, the dining area, the physical fitness room, the sunroom, and the terrace. We saw the two-bedroom and the one-bedroom. I felt like I could move out of my house and move in there. It was an excellent place and it was affordable. I don't think the price was too much for what you were getting. We met the dietitian or the person who cooks. I was very pleased to talk to her and she was very knowledgeable about the nutrition and what we thought we would want for my aunt. They told us we could come back and eat and sample the food.

My relative moved into Harmony at Columbia 2 weeks ago. It is very well-kept, and everything is freshly painted. There are no offensive odors in the place. It looks like a nice hotel. The staff seems to be very good with the residents. They don't allow them to spend their days in their rooms. They make them come out and participate in community activities. They take them outside to a special garden area if the weather permits, they sing, and they have all kinds of games there for them if they want to play. I've seen the food on the plates, and it looks very appetizing. They've just been good.

I had a good tour experience at Harmony at Columbia. Everything was nice. We were really impressed with the place. It's very modern. The affordability was the issue, but the staff was good. The apartments were spacious, very modern, and very clean. It's a very nice facility. They have a bistro and an area where they even have a bar. Their menu looked really good. They had a couple of different areas where you can go and eat. They were very spacious and seemed like a lot of people liked their own seats.

The Harmony at Columbia was a very good community. The amenities were nice. The staff was also nice and it was a beautiful facility. Everyone that we came in contact with was very friendly and very professional. We went to the memory care section and the admissions coordinator was very nice and even followed up a couple of times after we visited to see if there was anything that he could do. The rooms were all very nice, too. Looked like it was one of the newer facilities, so everything looked very well-kept. It was just out of our budget.

The facilities in Harmony at Columbia were very clean. I got to see a one-bedroom unit and it was very spacious. It had a kitchen, a living room, a bedroom, a balcony, and a nice, spacious bathroom with a step in shower. Everything you need was in there. It also had a stove and refrigerator. They even had a washer and dryer in them. The dining room seemed very organized. They had a gym and a little library where you can go play chess or checkers, or go get on the computer. The meals were continental breakfast and then a restaurant-style meal in the evenings. The staff had a good attitude.

The tour at Harmony at Columbia was absolutely perfect. The apartments were very good-looking. The whole place was very well-kept. The price was right. I had dinner there, and I liked the food. I like the people and how they interact with each other. I liked the staff. They were very friendly and welcoming. It was a place I would not mind moving in, if and when it happens. I investigated the assisted living and memory care parts of the facility. I was pleased to know that they can even participate in my long-term life insurance, so that was another plus.

Harmony at Columbia offered great amenities. The staff was very welcoming. The person who gave me the tour was knowledgeable, personable, and gave me lots of good information to assist my mom. One thing that would not work for my mom was that it was two stories; I wanted it all on one floor. The apartments were large with a full kitchen, a full size refrigerator, and a microwave. They had beautiful outdoor spaces for the residents, a garden, and a courtyard.

I was able to visit The Harmony Collection at Columbia. I like that their dining area was very clean, open, and spacious. The rooms are spacious as well. I haven't tried the food but they allow choices for their residents. They have a wide variety of activities for memory care. The staff members were very informative, very friendly, and welcoming. And the price is reasonable.

The first thing I noticed about Harmony at Columbia, besides the friendliness of the person that greeted me, was the cleanliness of the facility. It was light and welcoming. The first thing that I noticed about the staff who gave the tour was her knowledge and her genuine concerns that this was the right place for my relative. There's a refrigerator and a microwave inside the apartment, and we will be choosing a one-bedroom. They have a beautiful walking trail with a pond in the middle. The outdoor grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, and they have facilities for family members to come and interact with the people that are living there, which I think is really, really nice. They also have a patio that actually has a barbecue that the family can use for visits. And it's just a very appealing place to the eyes, it's somewhere I would want to live myself.

I toured Harmony at Columbia. The most important thing was the type of services that they offered, and it's affordable for my family. The other centers that we looked at were a little pricey for us, but Harmony at Columbia seems to be affordable for us. It's in an excellent location. It's only a couple of miles away from where my sister lives, so that she will be able to visit with my mom. The other places were too far away. The person who gave me the tour was bubbly, energetic, very persuasive, and friendly. He was really great. I had lunch there, and the food was good. It was very clean in there. They had lots of activities, and they had it posted where it could be readily seen. They had all different kinds of activities, including some outings for the residents. They had outdoor spaces. They had garden facilities for the residents, and they had a trail, too.

My mother-in-law has moved into assisted living at Harmony at Columbia. They're very friendly. I felt very comfortable as soon as I walked in. Everybody has been wonderful. They've been very caring and they're taking good care of her. She has felt very comfortable from the first time she walked in the door there. When I walked in, it felt very clean and very fresh. It smelled clean, and it looked clean. Every place that I've been in (like the dining hall, the activity center, the different rooms, and every office) has been clean and well-maintained. My husband said he wouldn't mind moving in there. I've been there when they're serving food, and it smells and looks very good. Their menu looks amazing. They have all sorts of activities, and it depends on what they can do. My mother-in-law has some physical limitations, so they were doing chair exercises, coffee chats, and some strengthening to help her. They go out once or twice a week on a bus if you want to go like out to dinner or out to the park, it depends on what they wanted to do. Value for money is very good. They work with my budget, and they were able to help me keep in the budget that I had to stay in.

My tour at Harmony at Columbia was nice. It was a nice community, and everybody ate in the same dining room. The apartment itself was really small but they have a full kitchen. The facility was clean, it was nice, and they had a lot of different things to offer. They had the dining amenity, they had a beauty parlor and a barbershop. You could move from assisted living to an independent living or memory care system, so it was all-inclusive. It's a good location and the facility itself was pretty new.

The staff member at Harmony at Columbia was really nice, very friendly, and very knowledgeable of the seniors, their needs, and the facilities that they have to offer. She was super professional, and she was wonderful. The apartments were gorgeous. They were really big and spacious, and they had nice views. They built a park area out and around the perimeter, so some of the trees were still being developed, but they are going to be really nice once everything is all built up and grown in. It was definitely a very pretty facility. The good thing about Harmony at Columbia is that you can go from independent living to assisted living right there in the same facility without having to move, and they're just separated by a hallway. The apartments were spacious and beautiful. It's a brand-new building. The use of space was bigger than it was for the other facility, so you had this sense of a lot of space. Architecturally, they just did really interesting things, so it was really nicely done. Most of the units had patios as well. It is either an outdoor enclosed patio or a fully enclosed patio, so there is like an extra bonus room in a sense. The food looked great, and the people that we met were so friendly. They were just raving about how nice it is there and how great the food is.

I toured Harmony at Columbia, and it was clean. The staff seemed like a team for their members, patients, or clients. I am not sure how they call them. I think the staff person's name is Meredith, and she was very nice and very well versed in every question that I had as far as the cost and the amenities. She also gave me a brief rundown of the assisted and the full care facilities. We walked to the dining hall, and then we walked outside where there are grills and a patio area. Nothing has really changed as far as living experience. There is a little library, a beauty parlor, and there is a gym.

We visited Harmony at Columbia. The staff was really, really nice. The facility was nice, and the room that we were thinking of purchasing for my dad fit him perfectly. Their activity calendar looked very diverse. There's something to choose from to do every day. They also gave him a sample food, which he liked. For activities, they had live bands and live music coming in, they had bus trips for the residents, and they had games that were happening down in the cafeteria in the evenings. Those were the things that my dad would have liked, but he chose not to go. The apartments were great, not too small, but enough for him to make it a little apartment.

Harmony at Columbia is wonderful, and they have extremely friendly staff members. They were more interested in my mother's care instead of just trying to give us a sales pitch. The place was nicely kept up and new. The staff was more than accommodating with our questions, and they're still the same way to this day. It's by far top of the list of everywhere we looked at. They have different styles of rooms. They have happy hour every day for one hour right before dinner, but they're limited to two beverages. She also enjoys bingo and the movie theater. You pay for the meals with your lease, which include brunch and dinner.

The Crossings at Columbia (Harmony at Columbia) is too expensive, but I like it very much. It's wonderful. If I had the money, I'd be there. I could do a 1-bedroom but I'm not ready to live in a box yet. It is very nicely appointed. They have lots of activities. They provide cable and Wifi. They don't have a swimming pool, but they have an exercise room, movie room, art room, piano downstairs in the great room, and three meals a day. They have most anything you could think of. The kitchen is bigger than what I have at my house. The people who showed me around were wonderful. They answered all of my questions. When I left, they gave me a brochure full of all kinds of good stuff. I toured a 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom. One of the coolest things they have there is that they all have either a balcony or patio. The balconies can be opened, can be screened in or can be glassed in like a small other room, so you'll have a whole other space. I was very impressed. They have a concierge, they have a person to walk me around, and they have a person to greet me. It was awesome; I was not prepared for that. Food was delicious. It was excellent. Crossings at Columbia was my first choice but it was out of my price range. The place was awesome. They had nice parking, and they had some nice garden spot that the apartment could look out on.

The Crossings at Columbia is very nice, clean, and well set up. The people are very friendly and the staff is out of this world. They offer full kitchen facilities with an oven, stove, and refrigerator, even though they serve three meals a day, so I like that because I like to cook. The menus looked good. The rooms are very nice, well laid out, and great.

My father-in-law is in The Crossings at Columbia and it's been good so far. The place is extremely clean. They have a lot of caring staff members that are on things right away. He basically needs somebody there 24/7 in case he falls. They have all kinds of activities going on. They have field trips. He's a lot more active now than he was. They've got a med management program and they provide housecleaning and laundry services. Their food is excellent.

The Crossings at Columbia is a new facility. It doesn't have a lot of grounds, although there was a nice, little walking space in the back. They had an excellent chef. The place was immaculately clean, and the people seemed friendly. The price was reasonable as far as everything else we've looked at. If we were to move somewhere, that would be our top choice right now. They had a $1,000 upfront fee, but that was waved for veterans. The room had a small washer and dryer and a small refrigerator. At the time we visited, they were only doing breakfast, but they were planning on adding lunch and dinner as well. We had lunch there, which was very good. It's a smaller place where one side was independent and the other side was assisted. They're not really big, but they were immaculately maintained and the layout was good.

The Crossings at Columbia were very neat and clean. They have a lot of programs that I really enjoyed that I thought my mom would enjoy. They showed me some of the guestrooms and some of the rooms where all the amenities were presented, and those were nice. They have a gym, an activity room, and music. The activities inside and outside were nice. It's closer to where I live, and it was very commendable.

We had my mother-in-law put in The Crossings here in Columbia, and they’re doing a good job. We found it to be a cost effective, newer facility. It’s been out there for probably a little over a year. They have memory care, 66 assisted living units, and 22 memory care units. They have plenty of caregivers. One of the things we like is they have their own in-house doctor on-staff. They provide transportation to and from appointments and send caregivers with people. They have all of the programs and address all the needs of somebody in assisted living.

The staff at The Crossings at Columbia is very nice. I've visited them several times, and each time, they have been very informative. The facility is brand new, which is a major plus, and has very modern décor. It is on the expensive side. The dining facility is like a dining hall or a restaurant hall, which is nice, as well.

We chose The Crossings at Columbia because it was brand new, and it was the nicest one we could find. They have waiters for the dinner. They have a bistro if you don't want the regular choices for dinner. They also have a pond and a fountain. I think they have lots of activities. There is a calendar, and there are like 5 or 6 things everyday. They can go anywhere from cards, to music, to playing Wii bowling, to having church services, to ice cream socials. We got an efficiency apartment for my mom. It is like a large bedroom with a kitchenette and a bathroom.

Yes, the place is new and pretty. Yes, the support staff is friendly and helpful. The executive staff that directs the community is less concerned about care and more concerned about money. The planned activities leave much to be desired. I will happily move my relative when a new opportunity becomes available.

The Crossings at Columbia was simply wonderful. It was new and immaculate. I spoke with the director who showed me around along with my sister-in-law, and I thought the facility was just great. They did have security for the memory wing, and I was pleased with the schedule that she was telling me about. We went through the first floor of the building. I saw two rooms, and they were wonderful. The adjoining bathroom was really impressive because it had a built-in seat on which the patient could sit to get a bath or a shower, and they had a place for them to place their clothes. The floor was accident proof -- not slick that the patient could fall down -- and that was impressive for that part of the room. They would even change beds from a single to a double if you like. The atmosphere was warm. There weren't any dirty spots, as if somebody had not lived in it yet. I also like it because they had hardwood floors down the hallway that were not shiny or slick, and that was a plus for me. The activities that she told us about were wonderful, and the grounds were very inviting and clean.
