I love this facility. I would recommend it to anyone! The staff and the residents are amazing, and I'm so happy I put my mother here she is living it.

My Parents moved into the facility for a while. At first they loved it. Then it was sold to Weston. Soon the administrator left(we loved her). They hired her replacement. She was awesome and really made thing better. She left for some reason. Now the Administrator who is there now is awful. She is rude to the residents and all the staff is unhappy with her. She terminated all the good staff. My parents roof in their room leaked and it took weeks to fix it. We moved the bed away from the leak. The sky lights leaks and it took well over a year to put flooring in the activity room. The residents had to do their activities on a ply wood floor. I made several complaints and they were ignored. The staff did care about my parents and the residents. However, there was a quick turn around of staff. My parents moved out to another personal care home and they love it. It is like they are living in a hotel.

I toured there recently. The place is run down and you can see that the owner does not want to put money into the place. The entrance is ugly and the carpet is dirty. The tiles are old and dirty looking. The administrator was very friendly and extremely helpful and even offered me a discount. Even though she tried her best, You could see that the owner does not care about fixing the place up. The roof was leaking. Some of the rooms where nice. However, most were out dated and dark. I toured several other buildings and those buildings where modern and clean and you could see that the owner actually cares and reinvests their money back into the building. Also, Hillcrest does not have a Physical Therapist and the other community does. Even though they where much cheaper than the other facilities I decided to place my Mom in another facility.

I was overwhelmed with the kindness the staff displayed to all the residents. I immediately felt the warmth and hospitality of the staff while taking a tour of the facility We decided to place our parents at Hillcrest and we are very pleased with the communications and quality of care my parents are receiving at Hillcrest

Upon entering the facility, I immediately took note of its cleanliness, however I only saw approximately 1/3 of the actual facility including a few of the rooms, the restrooms, cafeteria, and lounge. The staff was for the most part competent and kind, aside from one woman with a bit of an attitude regarding where wheelchairs could and could not be kept. I was, overall, pretty pleased with the environment, and we had eventually decided to place my grandfather in their care. Now, six months later, he is still living at Hillcrest and is content with his living experience there, as are we, his immediate family. I would rate it 3 out of 5 stars as a whole.
